I do have a few coins that aren't in the top 100.  Its fun to go for those high risk high re.ward coins.  Its exciting because you never know if your coin can go 100x or not.

That is why it is important to be patient and not make stupid mistakes like selling coins ahead of time. Perhaps part of your coins will fall in price so much that they will never be able to recover, but the other part should cover all costs for waiting.

Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

It's not risky if you did all your assignment, and that is checking about the platform, knowing who are the people behind the project and can they be trusted, all coins started at the bottom and it's very rewarding if you are part of a great project, in their start up.

Of course especially if you really know the project from the start and you are confident that their team can do the impossible to possible. Most of the traders also trade alts that are not listed in top 100 as you can hit a jackpot once the price will start to moon.

The risk is always there, if you are not careful in investing then the risk is very high but if you study and research the projects that have the potential to grow then the risk is very low.

The good thing about top 100 coinmarketcap is most coin having big liquidity and having big daily transaction volume. If the project having good trading volume, its indicating that this project are legit and many investor on it.

Yes I buy reasons being they're some Alts that are below the top 100 benchmark but have a quality utility. Top 100 is determined by trading volume not quality of project. What I look out for is a product with product that's in demand.
if you do an analysis like that, you can get coins of very good quality, but have not had an increase. usually several new projects with small exchanges that have such great potential. will be very lucky if you find a good project like that.

I am better avoid buying new project from small exchanges because potentially its a pump and dump coin. If i should buy and hold coin for long term, i am prefer choosing coin or token from reputable exchangers. Most reputable exchangers list only on good project with solid developers team

I don't dare to take that risk, maybe some of them have great potential if we can examine it in more detail. I tend to prefer popular altcoins or stable altcoins, they always have price developments so the risk is also smaller.

All the coins I've bought start to fall after I take it. I can say that 2018 and 2019 was my collapse year. After that, I'm going to buy a bitcoin.

It is quite a risky action but it can give a massive profit if you're lucky, much more profit than from top coins but once again - it is very very risky so invest just a part of your funds.

Of course there is an investment. The risks of the top 100 are very low for long-term investors. In the short term, I recommend you invest in daily market review to make a decision.

If you have enough time to research a project, find out the probability of being potential one, I guess it's better to invest in a good one. Nano for example is in top place now while it was a shit back in the days of Rai block. In the same way, there's some more project which may have a good future.

Currently yes, i have bought a not top 100 altcoin. All coins have a chance to increase in value in a bull market. I hope i am not wrong and that the bull is not dead.

Ofcourse it is risky because crowd can't control the price of altcoins once it is out of top100 coins. It may cause a huge drop and even you don't know the coin perfectly.

I think he is asking the wrong question, the fact that we are investing here in crypto, we are already making a risky decision.
We need to study first the nature of the market, that's one of the basics if you are planning to invest in the crypto market.

The coins not on top 100 can sometimes lead to very good ROI yes they are risky but if you did your research on the project properly than they are not that risky. Some of my best returns were from the coins that were not in the top 100.

everyone who invests in the crypto world even though in the top 10 CMC still has risks in it.
but the difference for me is only in profits and a much bigger defeat even reaching 200% if you choose to invest above 100 CMC.

Can't tell you what to do, especially in a high risk investment like crypto.

But I am filling the bags with BAT. It think it has the potential to reach top 10 in the months ahead.
