Yep, some of them. I have placed my bets on Fantom, 0chain and Phantasma. I have some other "out of top 100" holdings, but they are way less risky than previously mentioned ones as those are in fact out of top 200, so its a high risk/high reward ordeal.

I think there is nothing wrong with buying alternative coins below the top 100, if behind these coins are good developers, there is a working product, there is a road map and other aspects that reduce the possibility of turning the project into scam.
When you invest in a project, you may not even guess which place in the rating will hit the project. It can be assumed by hard cap but there is no guarantee that so much money will be invested in the project.

Yes, I’m buying altcoins which are far beyond from the top 100, and sometimes I even buy coins which aren’t even listed at coinmarketcap . I am aware of risks associated with it, so the amount of investment in such coins is quite small, but sometimes it brings a good profit .

It is common for all wanting to invest in cryptocurrency to buy coins that are in the list of top 100 coins in the market cap. But I am a bit different from them as I hold different opinion. I think it is not a good judgement to buy only already established coins. There are numerous coins in the market that can give good returns on investment. My suggestion is that look also at new coins that are hitting exchanges. New coins just hitting exchanges have high chance of increasing multiple times in price.

There are lots of potential coins or tokens that are not even in the top 100 doing better than most of this coins in the top 100 list on the Coin market cap

The right choice is currently buying the top 5 coins because the price has an effect on the market and has a greater growth potential than other altcoins, especially ETH and I hold ETH until the target portfolio is reached.
Top-5 coins are good for a long-term investment. Those one who want to make a fast profit need to take a risk and buy low-cap, unpopular altcoins. Some of them are conducting IEO, thus they are pretty perspective for a short-term investing.

We shouldn't exclude coins which are just getting started from our investment plans. New coins will always begin as "no-names" but sometimes they're worth to give them a chance. I invest in some of them, mostly in FuturoCoin, but I keep my eye on newly developed cryptos

no, not because I don't like or don't believe in altcoins that are under the top 100 but the reason is because I am only a bounty hunter so I only buy altcoins like ethereum, litecoin and or dogecoin for the purpose of fees, whatever provided as a fee and cheap , my priority is because I buy only for fees
at same question OP, i thing you answer wasn't correct when you didn't bought altcoin and said no. On the fact you bought it, what ever you say for investing or paying fee, same here when you will convert it into ethereum.

It is best to invest in top altcoins that are exactly in the top 100, but of course there are some good altcoins that are behind the Top 100, so for this you need to study every project in which you want to invest, if I would wanted to invest at the moment, then of course I would invest in the top 100.

When I want to invest, then I always buy altcoins that are in the top 10 list. Because if the altcoin is already in the top 10, then the altcoin has been tested for its security level and there are definitely a lot of devotees. so we have the opportunity to get a satisfying income.

Many of these altcoins can give you a better income. However, the problem here remains the same as with the top-100 alts: which one should you choose? Ark is cool, for example, and I think, it will grow.

Buying alts outside the top 100 is very risky. But as long as you can carefully buy coins, of course, the results will also be great. But if you insist that you will buy or invest in alts that are not in top 100 you better do a data gathering regarding with the alts you want to invest.

I have never bought a coin beyond the top 100 coins. In my opinion coins that do not include the top 100 coins are coins that are difficult to compete and survive in the market. I'd better find a safe way by not buying coins outside of the top 100 coins. I feel I have a greater risk if I buy coins outside of potential coins. I better have a few coins but the coins include potential coins that can give me an advantage. I am a person who is happy with the movement so I prefer to buy the top 100 potential coins because I can play these coins actively in trading.

I really don’t like to venture into coins beyond the top 100
I don’t need the stress; I focus on blockchain and innovative projects to buy

Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!
definitely risky because if we don't have the clarity about what the investment is then the future will be in the confused state so I don't take this like that in my opinion choosing the best is also difficult in sometimes then choosing the unknown will not been the correct idea.

I prefer to buy altcoins from the top 100. I think they have more potential than top altcoins. The time of the atcoins can begin very soon. I expect a profit from altcoins.

Its  a strategy, most of your investment should go in the top 100 coins which are kind of quiet stable. Then you look beyond the limit to get some potential coins that is worth to invest in. You might not expect to see returns any moment yet but you know your investment is safe.
