I do not find the top altcoins to be profitable to my satisfaction for now. Rather I prefer to invest in new slid projects. Projects with good and solid projects, as well has those that have got enough and strong partnership.

Obviously it's risky to invest in such coins but often the profit is bigger compared with top 100 coins. As precaution measures i pay attention to the coin volume in the market and the number of transactions. It is foolish to invest in a dead coin. 
Most of the time I try to avoid buying some less known coins. But if I find something interesting with good potential, why shouldn't I have it?
This makes sense and I think that you also understand that it is not with bad money that it is on such altcoins that are not included in the top 100 today. Especially during the period when many projects for various reasons are pumped up with money. Today, the overall situation is very similar.
Sometimes I buy coins that are not yet very popular and are not in the top 100, because there are young and promising coins in which you can invest and wait for profit
Earnings scheme in any trade - buy cheaper, sell more expensive. And for me there is no difference whether a coin will enter the top 100 or not. If after analyzing a coin I see in it the potential for growth, I take it. It is most important to choose the right coins. And yes, I buy, but only to quickly sell
I think the moment btc is showing signs of clear recovery. has now surpassed 6k $ safe level and many people think it will increase sharply this year. While the opposite is happening with altcoin, to be safe I think you should invest in btc.
I buy some coins which not was on top 100 on 2017 but now no, i think there can be some coins which are not on top 100 and can bring a profit on long run, but indeed there are a lot of useless coin and can make to loose money.

Of course, investors always need to distribute their investments and buy completely different coins. Therefore, I regularly work not only with BTC and reliable altcoins, but also with coins that are not among the top-100. After all, the risks when working with such coins are compensated by the possibility of obtaining a large income.
There is not nearly enough upside potential in top 100 coins IMO. I like to find lowcap gems. One recent gem is a project called DIVI Project. You should check it out at www.diviproject.org. it already has one click masternodes, and soon will have atomic swaps and much more, it is insane to me that this project is so under the radar - but that's how you make money.
I don't invest in a lot of coins, I furiously study each one I care about and invest in a few, spreading yourself too wide won't really make you that much in the long run.
I buy only those coins in which I have no doubt and in principle almost all of them are in the top 100. Though of course I did not check, just sure of it.
We all know that every coin has the potential and quality of each system, some say that quality coins are in the top 100 that have high prices and high marketcap capabilities so they have more potential. I invest in coins that have a high marketcap, volume and price that signifies their potential or quality such as ETH, EOS, XRP, and BCH.
Yup I do purchase both altcoins within the range of best 20-100 and even above that. Meaning, yeah I do buy cheap altcoins that seems relevant, and that which might not be of value yet. But come on, they all begin from little price and state before rising. Take btc and Eth for example ☺️
Obviously it is very risky because the token in the rating does not have a large volume even though there is a price increase, of course it is only temporary, therefore we have to be more careful about buying tokens with a rating above 100. Positive or not, so we can analysis of coins.
I know that this is very dangerous. That is why I try to buy only those coins that are the most popular at the moment.
If you want to buy an altcoin outside the top 100 on coinmarketcap, you need to understand that this decision contains a lot of risks. You should be pretty careful by selecting such tokens, because there are too much fraud projects at the moment.
Well all the coins that are in the top 100, I think do not need to invest, because there are some coins bad reputation and they can not climb more , I think you need to study some projects very deeply and also invest, especially in such a market carefully invest
If this is a worthwhile project. Of course, I buy it. Even if it is not from the Top 100, because I am sure that I will be able to earn money through it.
sometime's , when i join that coin and i know the community , i will buy the coin no matter what current rank of that coin
Lets not forget what gets some coins to be listed on the top 100. They got there by the total marketcap of the coin not the trade volume or other factors that shows their efficiency in the market. I hope the position on coinmarketcap wont be a determinant for a successful token. The disappointing thing is that most coin below this 100 had always under-performed except few.
