Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

that is very much dangerous pal. If you are going to invest alts better and good to buy coins that are always on top in every exchange platform.
Don't throw you capital into nothing. Besides, nowadays before we get earn We need to to work hard for it, same goes her inc crypto world. Always bear that in your mind mate.

if we take the source of the coinmarketcap then Coin POPULOUS (PPP) is in the top 120 and coin IGNIS is in the top 104 ... so in terms of investment in crypto not only see the coin rank ... but what we need to consider is the movement in the market ... so the risk of loss is smaller if we are able to analyze the movements ... because I often buy tokens in the top 100 + ... and until now I can still benefit from coins that are in the top 100 + ...

Properly doing research is important for you, but altcoins below 100 CMC still have good potential as long as you search for information about the token in the future.
hope it's an uncertain gamble. we can lose our money to bet on assets like that. even though there is a possibility of going up, all that has not been seen and looking for what happens in the future is excessive speculation I think.

buying top 100 will always carry a risk, but buying not even on top 100 even carrying more risk.

It has greater potential for profit but also carries more risk. Do your own research.

but for me its insane that MCO is in top 100 and for example
The difference is that [fast] fiat profit gaining is higher valued for some then the solutions/functions the coin gives. What is in the top 50 now can be in the bottom 100 tomorrow.

yes, I have several altcoins that have a ranking below 100. but only a little of the capital I use to buy it. besides I think that the altcoin has the potential, expect the altcoin to pump up to thousands of percent. and that happened in 2017, hope that will happen again soon

Sometimes yes, especially for those new coins that have been listed to the exchange. They are not top 100, but it would be the one and surpassing those 100 alts when the time comes. You can go wild with experimenting the new coins(after ICO or IEO) so you can see the pressure and how much you could make from this.
I also do that, some new coins do have a fast increase, and I buy them when registered at the exchange. there are moments where I can get them cheaper than their ICO prices.

Of course, buying low-capitalized coins is risky. But still, if you invest in a promising project in time, you can make a very good money off of it. The main thing is not to invest the amount that you can not afford to lose.

Yes, the potential of the coin does not directly depend on getting into the top 100.
If you know how to evaluate an asset by fundamental indicators, then you have privileges as an investor. All of these "top" listings can confuse the investor. I have a few coins that were in the top 100 in 2017. Now these coins are almost dead. It was a hard lesson.

even if not in the top 100 the altcoins I'm buying are still confident in the altcoins I hold even if not in top 100 altcoins because it's important to just see the potential of their project or purpose why they did it.

There is bunch of shitcoins in top 100 and many undervalued coins in range 100-200. I am not trying to shill any coins but for me its insane that MCO is in top 100 and for example PIVX, RDD, BNT are not there.

I generally tend to follow other people who are always keen on investing only in coins that are on the top 100 list. One think one can get benefits in investing in coins being on the top 100 list is that your investment will be protected. There are rare chance that already top 100 listed coins will not disappear, although they may not increase multiple times in price. I like to invest in these coins.

It is coins that do not belong in this top 100 that will likely do more pump, if you are looking for more than x100 profit is moths or years to come, however one should be careful as they are the most risky to invest also. Funds should be a negligible amount when investing in them

I think it's risky to invest in altcoins that are not yet tested and not in cmc so I prefer altcins that are in the cmc and have a potential and longterm project so that will not lose my investment investment in altcoins.

You must not forget that all these top 100 coins now came from very low capitalizations. So it doesn't matter if it is top 100 or not for as long as you see the potential.

no i think below on top 100 in marketcap is not really woth.
i just interest with top 20 listed coin in cmc and look for good ICO and IEO who have big potential to grow.
don't ever buy below 100, that will make you going to loss.
