Well discipline pretty much applies not just to gambling but to anything that we do that we have interest on. I can say the lessons and past gambling experiences made me realize a lot of things when gambling and in a way made my was a lot more disciplined. It's a different feeling if you've already lost a lot of money one time and you don't want that to happen again. It fuels in a way my discipline to think about the consequences of my actions

Me too, losses from gambling helped me in some way in my life. It made me realize that it is not that easy to earn money so we should spend it wisely. Right now, i don't buy things i don't need neccessarily. Before i buy something, i think first if it can help me in a lot of ways and it will be good in the long run. I just save my money for the future and only use some of it sometimes when i'm trying a new source of income.

If you are already in the middle of your betting, and you are catching the momentum already, then it is hard to control your self anymore, specially if you are winning few consecutive bets in a row. Setting a limit before playing is much effective way of controlling your self than doing it in the middle of your games.

I think it depends on the person still especially for long time gamblers. I can say that i've been gambling for quite a couple of years now and i don't have any problems controlling myself when it comes to gambling. I think with experience comes a sense of responsibility and restraint by knowing that a lot if things are more important than my vices and hobbies. That's what makes me in control now when i gamble though i can only speak for myself here as this surely does not apply to everyone

Wow, that's extreme man. I can't imagine my self playing like that. I think you need to take a rest sometimes with your betting, I could tell that you are overdoing your gambling habit.

I am still sticking to my way of control, setting a limit before playing, like depositing just small amount in my bankroll and if it's gone then it's gone, don't have to make a follow up and deposit again.
