Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?
I admit that I was doing it but I just doing it when it really needs, and only I did it when I was in the break time.
Of course, we know also the possible risk when are at work, focus and time involved in trading cause it could be different when we are doing it without the hassle and at home. Cause the more time we spend on trading, the more efficient we are.

I believe that a person who has access to a computer or works all day on a computer has every opportunity to pay attention to trade.  In any case, it is possible to control the market.  For me, these features are not available, because it is not always possible to even use the Internet.

Well I do post on this forum using my work computer before, but I just realised that there might be risk on my end so I stopped. And with that said, I don't used my my work computer to do trade as well. So yes I would agree that it is a terrible idea, first the risk and then how can you focus on your trading when a lot of people are around you? And the chance that your boss might see you doing something besides work? You might lose your job here.

I think a good reason for not trading during work is due to the fact that you can't serve 2 masters at the same time. Also as the saying goes, Jack of all trades, master of none. I would suggest anyone trying this should stop.  It's best to do all things related to work at the workplace and then put 100% of your time when you're at home to trade. I think it'll be more better that way.

I have poloniex and binance app on my phone and that made me to trade both at work and on my way back home. I have not used my office computer to trade as I see it too risky to do that and the office computer is not made for that purpose.

Terrible idea if one of your office rules does prohibit any other form of activity which isnt related to work.Doing trades on your workstation would really put you on trouble once your boss caught you in act.

If you know that it would risk out your job then its better to avoid such thing. On my experience, i have done on doing trades yet im fast enough to press that ALT+TAB thing.  Grin

Nah, they dont prohibit doing other things that arent work related. But trading seems a little worse compared to browsing the internet.

Been doing it thru my phone. I created a new profile on tradingview, its easy to create one anyway and then view it on the desktop, I bid on my phone in binance as I have also installed its app. This isn't hard to do actually but you'd be distracted most of the time since you are going take a peek to your phone from time to time specially if you haven't set a sell order yet.

Terrible as it may seem but if your company allowed your to use your phones in the office, you're still going to be doing things in your phone like loging to facebook.

Hate to admit it, but I have done that.  I've also used one of the computers at work to post on the forum, and I've done deals for bitcoin as well.  Fortunately my boss really doesn't care as long as the sites we visit aren't going to be putting malware on the computers, and there's a lot of downtime at my job anyway.

On the other hand, I try to use my phone for trading and related activities when I'm at work.  I don't like the idea of leaving a trail on a computer that isn't mine.
