Though I am a believer, I do not feel ashamed to gamble, as this is something reasonable, that I do not hurt anyone and that I entertain myself !
If you feel shameful, it means you did something wrong in the gambling site that are very embarrassing on which you don't like to know by your friends, relatives and special someone. So you keep hiding it to them 
but if don't do anything bad, nothing to be ashamed with them.
It also depends on the culture, in my country some forms of gambling are even traditional of our people so there is no shame associated with playing those games but in some cultures and religious traditions gambling is strictly forbidden, so for people living under those cultures, they could be ashamed of their actions. but if don't do anything bad, nothing to be ashamed with them.
That will be a shameful if you turn into gambler addict, you will lose control of yourself, start to borrowing money to people around you, have a lot debt and could be end into jail.
Personally I'm not really often do gamble and since I used bitcoin only for payment people around me don't know my gambling activity.
If people know my gambling activity, I'm not ashamed, because I used it with my money.

Its only you that sees that until when one becomes addicted to the losing part of gambling that it might be shameful but the community does not see it that way. Over here, the moment you move close to the vicinity of the gamblers even if its for sight seeing you are already judged and this brings shame. For me, when I want to gamble, I stick to my bitcoin so I don't have to report my activities to anyone...

You can be shameful depending on your situation . For example you live in macau and everybody their loves playing gambling. No one is ashamed that they are gamblers , its just that it is depending on your situation.but if don't do anything bad, nothing to be ashamed with them.
I cannot comment if this is right or wrong but actually we should reserve the right to spend our money the way we want.

My culture depict gambling to be for irresponsible people. Why? most gamble get to take your money away and wins rarely. A responsible man in my community is demanded to rather invest than give your fate to the air. Also i cant campaign for any gambling site on this forum,Yes! Is that bad.
Good for you to stick that up and what kind of culture is that my son. If you look at Vegas ,only the rich come over there and gamble and you call them irresponsible for being rich Gambling is meant to be fun and you wont be getting anything back when gambling.Stick on with your policies and will see whether you will change your mind later. No, I do not feel shameful, I even at the inverse feel a bit proud of this, in the sense that I am quite talented and manage to get some little profits.
Well you have to be careful though dude and avoid being cocky even if you're earning from gambling as sometimes we can get too confident which leads to our monetary demise. If you're doing good so far and you're not stepping on other people's foot, then you have all thw right to be proud and not be ashamed

People feel shameful and hide from friends not because they have done anything wrong but because they feel that if their friends will know that he s gambler then people would look at him like a thief lol though I never understand why watching a movie is considered as a royal activity while spending money on gambling is pity. but if don't do anything bad, nothing to be ashamed with them.

What do you mean by doing something wrong in gambling??. What's wrong in gambling it is just a way were some people can double their investment in few seconds.but if don't do anything bad, nothing to be ashamed with them.
And I don't think people are ashamed of gambling it is just the society they live or their surroundings which they reside in thinks gambling is bad maybe for religious purpose or maybe in general people don't like gamblers for no reason.

But later on I lose one time and I realized that I shouldn't have proudly told it to my wife that I am winning in gambling, as she is always expecting a win from me since that time... Then I quit...

You feel proud and tell everything to your wife when you get luck, when you often win the game. It was very normal, because you definitely want to make your wife happy, and you know he would have been happy when you win. But when you lose a fortune, you were embarrassed, it was also normal. Whether I lose or win from my gambling actions, for sure I won't tell it to my wife. She will not proud even if I win a huge amount of money. I have to lie to her, everytime I give her some money beside my monthly salary. I told her that I got the extra money from trading and she trusts me and doesn't make any further question.
