I think what he's trying to say is that he learned his lesson that he wasn't supposed to gamble anymore but did and he understood that after making that mistake. That's the way to learn, it's a practical way. It's basically people trying to be the best that they can be with less risk and still has rewards.

Yeah that he is what intending to say that he learned a lesson from it because he said that he regret that time so it means that he accepted his fault. Before learning from his mistake, he said that he was just shameful when he is losing the money it was not for gambling and that was really a shameful for all of us.

but the real problem is when a lot of people cannot gamble with good attitude.
they are just gambling like a child , never accept the losing always want to keep winning and it is impossible, they are always in greedy when do gambling and people around in the end mark them badly which cost you being shameful.

Well, that is the extremes of gambling, and that should be avoided by every gambler. If you do it, you should be ashamed of yourself. But if not, I don't think there is anything wrong from gambling especially if you are just gambling a minute amount of bitcoins for fun. Just keeping it at a minimum is the way to go with it.

I don't feel ashamed for gambling.

If I lost everything today, I won more than I lost.

What I am ashamed of is the way my greed influences my logic and decision making.

Self control and maintaining discipline is the most difficult part of gambling for me.

Learning to manage greed is one of the things that makes gambling worthwhile.

i think gambling is not destroying the life of all the people who play gambling. it can destroy the life of senseless people. those people who do not have any sense and who even lose their children school fee in gambling. but those people who play gambling in a limit and those people who have good planing and strategy so for such people gambling is not a sham and they play gambling proudly.
