I just want to advise not to gamble occasionally if you don't have good self-control and a good understanding of gambling.

When someone is addicted to gambling they will never care about limitations and needs other than the need for money to play gambling. Even though this gambling is just a game for entertainment, if you don't have good control and skills, then gambling will have a serious impact on your life. The pleasure you feel in gambling will only bring you to the valley of misery.

Rich people can fall into poverty because of gambling addiction. Especially when poor people are addicted to gambling, they will only suffer more and more.

Obviously yes because the percentage of rich people in this world is lesser than the middle class so let's say 10% of people are rich on average it doesn't mean all the people who gamble are middle class so they can increase their financial status by making some money.

I used to think like this too in the past. But later I realized it's not related. I'm sure you actually know this too. How your winning or losing can be related to your thoughts and intentions? The purpose of gambling is to make money,and to make more money,and I think that should only be the reason why one should Gamble,and any other reason that is not for the purpose of making money is not normal.The first day I gambled,I had one thousand Naira,and I needed to pay my school fee the next day,at that time things weren't too ok for me,so the only option I had was to take a risk and gamble with the last one thousand that I had.I played soccer virtual,and the very first hand I payed with the one thousand,I won 10,500,I was so happy but the money won was not enough to pay for my school fee,I still needed more 40 thousand naira to complete up the money so I could go,I started playing more,till they won all the money back,I didn't win any other  one again,I was so furious while I was going home,but since that day,I couldnt stop gambling again.So in my own case,it was simply because I wasn't financially bouyant that made me Gamble.

To be honest I think most of them got into gambling because they saw some big prizes provided by the casino, they had financial problems and when they found out about gambling they most likely thought that this is a good opportunity to multiply small money into huge amounts. Why they gamble can be tricky because some think they gamble for fun while others think they gamble to make more money.

Yeah, you are right, mate, such gamblers do exist; they only have an interest in gambling when they are out of money, and they only think that gambling is their only hope. I had a similar experience while in college, as things were a bit difficult and I was hoping for some money from my parents, but it did not come exactly when I was expecting it, so I just decided to use some little cash that I was left with to bet on a football match that day. I made some possible predictions for about 20 clubs, and the match was supposed to run for about 48 hours. After staking, I just kept observing the match through out that day until the next day, the day the match was supposed to end. Mahn, I had a cash out of about $180+, so I just had to cancel the game and make away with my cash out. That very bet that day was just where I rested all my hope. So, I believe there are some individuals who just gamble when they need money.

when it comes to high rollers for fun or for a steady income its a little hard to see because it a strategy or an individual goal that hard to analyze. but there are 2 possibilities the first one because indeed that person is very rich and bet $100k just like us bet $100 so its not a big amount for him so keep betting big like this forum user who shared his bet in another thread and Im sure you know it. and for the second possibility high rollers are betting huge amounts to get a side income from gambling like for example right now the gambling site that on our signature is doing a birthday event on this site with a huge $10 million total prize pool and lucky people with total bets big will get a ticket to get the prize so the high rollers bet a large amount to get the prize.

There have been times I tried copying high rollers, and after losing $3 whole fu*king thousand dollars to a single bet, i woke up two days later in a hospital, fortunately enough, my family, that is my wife and kids did not actually know what happened to me, they just thought assume I was sick and also believed what the doctor told them that i suffered a high blood pressure, but known bothered to ask me what caused a such a sudden high blood pressure, the doctor only told me to stop thinking too much, if my wife had known that i gamble, and also losing $3000 dollars in the process, the story would have been different, and wont be nice to be honest..
