Well, you can say that it is all about discipline if one wants to prevent themselves from huge losses and don't get addicted to gambling, but you can't argue that gambling can be profitable for those who strategize their sessions because there is basically no strategy that can make you win but there are limits and following disciplines that can make someone lose less which is the main thing in gambling because it is not to make gamblers rich.

I'm not saying that casinos should be made the villain for snatching our money and making us poor, it is definitely our own fault if we don't know our limits or don't stay disciplined and lose everything we have because of that, casinos are here to do business and they are just doing that.

We see high rollers, they gamble with very big amounts of money and can win big amounts too and if you look at the numbers used and won by high rollers, they are very large and enough to finance the lives of people who live in certain countries, but of course not for the country where the high roller lives, also we don't know for sure about his finances it could be that he is stable enough and has a lot of income so losing and winning at gambling is not a problem for him, and he doesn't depend on the results of gambling for living expenses because he has had income or other sources to be able to finance his life, and of course people like that also already have huge assets meaning he is rich.

Gambling and lacking significant things will only pushes one to go extreme, by selling of one's important properties to pay off debts. Gambling will only benefit those who have several sources of income. Everyone desires an uninterrupted supply of wealth. We all have relevant intentions for actively participating in gambling, which is considered one of the passive industries of earning extra money for our irrelevant wants. We are unable to depend on gambling for a living because it is dangerous and unreliable. Gambling should be classified as a recreational activity in which we utilize our spare time.

There are gamblers who get engage in gambling activity not because of entertainment but because of curiosity.  There are also gambler who are forced to gamble because of peer pressure and there are gamblers who gamble because they wanted to occupy their free time to forget about stress and pressure.  In short, there are many reason why a person gambles.  But I think the worst of the reason is gambling because we don't have sufficient money.  That is like all or nothing situation and often times the result is nothing.  This will make the family of that gambler suffer because the money to buy their basic needs got depleted and now the gambler have no money to buy his family's need.

I often avoid gambling when my fund is not enough because I know any losses, I can't afford to lose.

Typical gambler or really just that in default but there were actually gamblers who do really play for fun despite of the losses that they are experience which it cant really be avoided for you not to make out reactions

since no one really likes on losing money even if you do say to yourself that you are just playing for fun.The only dumb thing is that into those people who do have only sufficient funds for their daily expenses or living but
they are really that risking those amounts on playing gambling just to have that kind of hope on winning it on gambling which it is really the dumbest decision that you would ever made.This is why it would really be that
just fine if you are only making use of those funds which are extra and something that wont really be compromising your life savings or some sort. You would really be finding yourself in the end of the line on being
wrecked in finances if you dont have that kind of ontrol.

Gamble for fun but cant really blame out if those intent would really be changing up along the way since we would really be turning out to be that a desperate fella specially if you are already chasing up
your losses and trying to break even or similar.

Yep, there are various reasons someone has gambling, and it doesn't have to be the same. but let's be realistic, it is very natural that every gambler does it with the aim of profiting from it, without exception. just imagine, we are betting with money, and it would be very natural to want to get the reward back from it. well, if you want to know that there are some gamblers who do it as entertainment. You can visit land casinos, especially in tourist spots. one example, some newly married couples who are on their honeymoon, often enter the casino just to gamble for fun and then leave regardless they win or lose. sometimes, they do it just to test their luck.

Generally speaking, what we know is that most of the gamblers are ordinary people. but if you know, people who enter land-based casinos, especially those with big names, or casinos on cruise ships, most of the people who are in there are rich people. they come to gamble, even with very large bankrolls. it's just that, in online casinos, we can't know the backgrounds of the gamblers who play on the site. so the conclusion that most gamblers are ordinary people, we cannot be sure if there is no data to support this argument, even though we actually agree with this statement. So the point is in online casinos, it doesn't matter whether he is rich or not, as long as he has the money to gamble even the slightest, he is free to do according to what he wants to do. after all, winning or losing is only enjoyed by the gambler himself.

Everyone gambles for a variety of reasons, in my opinion, but practically all gamblers do so with the intention of profiting from it. Some gamblers assert that they do it for entertainment, but I don't entirely buy that. For this reason, I'll say that most gamblers are average people, there may be a small number of wealthy gamblers, but we shouldn't draw the conclusion that only the poor gamble because I don't believe that people are truly get certified with money,even when they have much they continue hurting for more money so that they should always be on top of the list of richest.

In the minds of a lot of people when they think about the money they can make with gambling compared to what they can earn with their jobs they think of this money as easy money, and nothing could be further from the truth, making money with gambling is incredibly difficult and while someone could get lucky for a night or two it is impossible to be lucky every single day for the rest of our lives, and eventually those people learn why they cannot rely on their luck to overcome their financial problems.

Like you said his gambling type is just to meet a need that he wants to solve. And having a source of income that will take care of his basic needs will put a stop to it. There are quite a number of people who gamble not for fun but because they are lacking financially and they want something to help them solve that need. However, the unfortunate thing is that they end up not being able to solve that need from gambling because gambling is not about sentiment.

A good number of gamblers gamble for the sake of money that they view gambling as a possible channel by which they can escape their impoverish condition by way of been lucky to win a life changing amount.  They're not in it for fun or the entertainment, it's only those that are rich that gamble for fun making the money side of it an added bonus.
The behavior of your friend only interprets that he knows what he's in for in gambling and peradventure he's to make a huge win someday then it's certain gambling will only be a thing of history for him.

I have had a friend who gambles because he does not have money. I mean whenever he sees the property he wants to buy maybe let's say a shoe or clothes that he wants to acquire for himself. He now go and gamble in order to acquire that very property.
But whenever he has money on him, he does not remember to gamble. He only gambles when he need money to do something.
After atudying his type of lifestyle, I understood that his problem was not just gambling for entertainment, he needs a better source of income and when he is financially stable, he will say goodbye to gambling. There a lot of people like that when they have good source of income that will make them leave comfortable, they will say goodbye to gambling.

Sometimes doing gambling were just using "having fun" as an excused in hoping to increase the money we're betting. I kept telling myself that I came here to have fun, but deep down I admit that there's a thinking of "please make me win so I could but any sht I want". so starting low after winning it will just increase and keep increasing the bet. Then I haven't realized I was stick to it as if I forgot my goal to just double up my money then I bounce. Of course after winning a lot gambling also took it back which I also wanted to recover my loss. It was just the realization after the game that once I tried recovering my loss, it would just lead to addiction. Gambling is really based of on luck because once it gives us a taste of it, we will keep hoping that whenever we gamble, it will side on us which it ain't.

Everything I know is that if someone is desperate for money, gambling isn't the activity he should be looking for, because gambling isn't a job or source of income, rather it's just an entertainment activity for people who already have jobs and sources of income, so they can spend money on it with some chance of growing their funds.

I really can't say if life is fair, unfair or if opportunities are disponible for everyone in some scale, but at same time it's common sense that gambling won't work as a miraculous pill towards wealthy for everyone who bets. So, people who still has this kind of wrong mentality should be blamed for their actions.

If the person just has money to eat, then go eating and forget about gambling, otherwise it's likely they will get hungry...

Some people still think that gambling can provide big profits instantly and this is also what keeps them in gambling. It is this mindset that must be corrected that gambling is not profit and a place to make a living. Since ancient times, gambling was actually "entertainment".

Our loss is the bookies' win. They bookies also have families to provide a living for and they also have employees to be paid every month. If they continue to give wins to gamblers, it's impossible.
And it's important for us to continue to think that gambling is entertainment, not profit. a healthy mindset is the key for us to be able to control the gambling activities that we do.

So don't ever make gambling our main income. however we must have a permanent job or a business to run to make ends meet.

Gambling is not a business or venture that earn us money or that we take profit from like we do with our business enterprise, however when there's an opportunity to earn from it, we should not denied ourselves from it, but taking it as a means for economy survival may not be a perfect decision because of uncertainties surrounded with gambling and the risk of loosing money each time we bet, there's no assurance for winning.


Life is not that unfair to have rendered us with a single or no opportunity at all, we all have different timing to effectively utilize our own opportunity as it comes, most of those in this category are too going on a one way forward direction, they have to think and reason well for many possible means to earn a living and get money and not to tie down on a single approach that is not working over time.

it is true that the number of rich people who gamble is less than the middle and lower class. the reason is because the number of rich people globally is clearly less than the middle and lower class. another reason is that most of the middle and lower class tend to dream of becoming rich by gambling because that is the most rational way for them to get money and become rich.

rich people also have a different mindset compared to the middle and lower class. they tend to think that to earn money they need to be able to manage their assets, expand connections, and invest more. while the middle and lower class they tend to think that with luck from gambling maybe they will get a lot of money which can make them rich overnight.

that is the reason why the middle and lower classes are more numerous in casinos or online gambling platforms, because they have the wrong mindset that most gamblers even gamble with their limited money which they should use for their various needs.

Well, as long as we all are here, and as gamblers, I don't think there be any among us who can boldly confess that he or she has never gambled for money, like me for example, i am not that regular in gambling, and when I do gamble, I try to as much as possible make sure my number one objective of gambling is just to have fun, but then, I can not deny the fact that there are other times when i am in serious need for money, and i do have some change to spare, that is money I don't mind losing for a bigger amount of money, i do take my chances in gambling for money, though i make sure to always be conscious enough not to do this often, for doing this often is one of the ways to become addicted to gambling.

So for me, gambling for money is not a bad thing, as long as the gambler is conscious enough not to allow that lead to desperation and gambling addiction.

I think that there is nothing to profit from self discipline when playing games of luck.The moment you enter a casino you enter explicitly to make money and no strategy will make you win anything in games of luck like slot machines except huge amount of luck.No matter what plan you have the maximum you will do you will minimize lost amounts of money but overall in the long run will not make you any good.So the smartest approach is to stop gambling with games of luck and trying skill games like poker to have any chance of winning in the long run.I am talking all of this from my personal experience as someone who has gambled since the years 2000.

The house might often win, but there are smart people out there who've made it work. Look at the moguls in Vegas and Atlantic City; it's not all about luck! You're making it sound as if everyone who walks into a casino becomes an addict and loses everything, which is just an oversimplification
Gambling, like anything in life, requires strategy and discipline. Those who lose big? They're likely the ones who go in blind without a plan. To outright dismiss gambling as merely entertainment is naive. While I'd never encourage someone to make it their primary income source, painting it entirely as a villain isn't fair either. It's all about a smart approach and self-discipline
