The rich and wealthy gamble too in their good number but we can't compare it to the lower class because the number of those in the upper class are very few. A lot has been said about the difference in number between the rich and poor in gamble, but I'll like to add that despite how majority of the poor class are into gambling it is the rich that are reaping we'll from gambling because they are like the whales in the market, they can afford a high betting power (amount) with little less risky odds that gives them leverage to easily win unlike the lower class with  a small amount to bet with accumulative odds just to increase their potential win. The rich don't need to accumulate the odds they only increase their stake power, simple.

I think it is different. Rich people are more likely to refrain from gambling than poor people, that would be my intuitive guess. I mean it depends how someone became rich, but assuming it was through hard work, what is the chance that that person is going to gamble with amounts relatively high to their net worth? Whereas people who are stuck and are looking for ways to cut corners could more quickly get entangled in this web of gambling websites and the perfect strategy guide to become rich through gambling. A rich person can still gamble a fortune away, but is less prone to feeling the need that many people feel as a majority are not well set up financially.
There is a type of rich person that might be meant for example someone who inherits money from his parents so that the status of wealth is obtained from inheritance not from hard work, usually people like that tend to be more extravagant so there is the possibility of spending money on gambling just for fun, but for getting more money would not be possible because of course rich people already have more money, usually just gambling for fun, nothing more.

I think we all agree that most gamblers are more of the lower middle class players because they prioritize and target money from gambling, in contrast to rich people who only prioritize having fun wasting money on gambling. I have a friend like that sometimes he often gambles just for fun no matter how much money he spends and wins, but he is the son of a rich businessman so I don't think there is a problem as long as he has fun.

There's numerous reasons why individuals indulges in gambling, there are varieties of reasons to be given. Rich influential individuals often engaged in gambling activities, they triggered good options and see gambling as an recreational activities to passed their free time. It's very important to differentiate between gambling for fun and taking it as a means of survival. While the middle class or lower keeps searching for incomes from gambling, I find it to be ridiculous because gambling profits is not steady and not reliable, we counts losses and profits from the space daily.

Rich people that gambling usually has a mindset on getting more money through gambling since rich people think all about money. There are many rich people that doesn’t involve in gambling and do some other things to spend their free time. Greediness on earning more can be experienced by rich and poor since human has no satisfaction on what they have that’s why they keep striving to earn money.

You can use Billionaires as an example of this greediness. They already have enough money to spend for their lifetime even without earning anymore yet they keep working just to earn more and maintain their wealth at top.

Rich people are often addicted to gambling to pass the time, but many rich people including themselves in gambling either because of their addiction or to earn more money. But it may be different for poor and middle class people. They usually spend most of their time gambling to get rich or because of excessive greed. But there could be many reasons why middle class and poor people gamble more than rich people, but the most common reason is that middle class and poor people are more greedy and spend more time gambling to get rich and earn extra money.

I was in argument with someone. His view is that people who gamble are those that what they have is not sufficient for them and so they try to make more money from gambling. He said if you have sufficient money to take care of your needs that you won't think of gambling. He made reference to some rich people, who don't gamble because they have sufficient money to even gift to charity but that those rich who still gamble are only addicted to it not just because of the money. Therefore, that the percentage of the rich gambling is very small compared to those in middle class and lower class.

So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?

So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?

I can't say for certain the percentage of the rich that gamble compared to the middle ad lower class, but I can say for a fact the rich gamble and it's not only because they're addicted to it.

Personally, the reverse is the case. I gamble when I have sufficient money. So I can say I gamble because I have sufficient money. Whenever I don't have money I don't think of gambling because they're other more important things that need to be solved, but when I have enough money and I got some to spare I gamble more.

As much as gambling is for fun, it is also done to get extra money and nobody is ever satisfied with the money he has so they'll always look for more. The rich want more, the middle class wants more, and the poor want more, so they all gamble because they want more money, not just the middle class and lower class.

Gambling is of categories reason you don't see the rich in a gamble shops is that they go to a VIP betting shops where only personalities are allowed to go place their bet, mindle class people aren't allowed to go inside to make bet. Then while the obvious people who made their lives to depends on gambling are the people who are making it look very bad and worsened because you won't see rich people behave that same way.

If you must know there are people who are millionaires today are from gambling and yet they still gambling because they invested wisely without allowing greed and addictions to control and take over them, that's why you won't see rich people go to a local betting shop to bet to avoid being classified as an irresponsible gamblers due to the act exhibited by mindle class gamblers.
The velvet-rope mentality in VIP betting shops does perpetuate the image that gambling is an elite sport. However, isn't it a bit simplistic to say that rich people don't show addiction or irresponsible behaviors? Money doesn't necessarily equate to wisdom. The rich can fall prey to the same vices as anyone else.

The fact that some players end up with millions is part of the appeal, right?  But let's not forget that these are rare exceptions. For the vast majority, gambling is a drain on resources. It's vital to remember that gambling, while thrilling, is a game of chance, not a guaranteed path to wealth.

Well you could be right, but know it that behavior matters a lot because most people (VIP) really comport themselves very well than the ordinary bettors although same possibility of losing one's funds and bet is applicable to them but, what I understand is that they don't showcase themselves as the middle class did. Yes we understand that Rich people lose game as well but the probability of them to maintain their certain level of bet is what makes a gambler has this titled "to be a responsible gambler" while those who don't often keeps to their standard are always regarded as an addicted gamblers where they fails to maintain their limits.

In gambling, money and wisdom doesn't matter as you said but what really counts is the ability for you to maintain either not going off their limits and stayed within their bands makes them to responsible gambler.

My view is different!

Initially, casinos were always seen as a luxurious and exclusive place for people who had a lot of money.
The intention of attending a casino was to have fun spending money and not the other way around (desperately gambling to try to get rich).

With gambling sites, obviously this has become something more popular and accessible to many people, which unfortunately attracted a lot of attention from people who saw gambling as an "opportunity" to earn money, but the intention is still the same: entertainment.

Many people (or maybe there are few) like me still play just for fun.

A good point bud, but just to maybe point out a few facts, rich people still get addicted to gambling, but good thing you said they don't show it, which means you agree to the fact that they do get addicted, I believe the reason why its hard to know when a rich man is addicted to gambling is probably because of their money, money covers up a lot of things, it is very easy for a poor man who is addicted to gambling to go broke and possibly roam the street begging his fellow guys for bread, but never will one find a rich man under circumstances, why, because the profits made from his chains of business is more than enough to cater for his gambling activities no matter how bad his addiction is , anything outside of this, maybe means such a person was never rich in the first place.

How unfortunate is that but that is how some people look into gambling and consider this as a tool to get into a higher position of life without realizing that if they keep that money it is huge already.

I agree that it is an unfortunate situation that people look into gambling this way, expecting to be rich through gambling and because of such mentality, they play life savings and no borrowed money on it. This situation is usually rampant with the low income earners who don't have better monthly salary but want to find another source of income. Gambling is not another source of income , you can't calculate the ROI with gambling for it to favour you. ROI will always favour casino owner.

People are really thinking that they can make a living on it, but it turns out they can't. Most low-income earners really try their luck at gambling because that is the only time they can earn big if they win and they can purchase the things they want, but right now that is where the addiction starts as they keep betting on a daily basis, but again, we can't blame them as they are hoping for a big win.
There are many people who are making their living through gambling but the number is very less. Most of the people who make a living through gambling they typically richer. However, low income people are more interested in gambling, they want to earn money from gambling anyway. There are gamblers who prefer gambling when they don't have money. They look for opportunities to change their destiny. People who don't have money basically think of gambling as the only way to change their poor life. Although everyone will have hope but not everyone will win.
Numbers are indeed less and not something that could really be brag on because we know that only a few who do able to sustain themselves on field of gambling and this is usually into those gamblers who do play sports betting and poker on which i could say that strategy could really be applied and not on something if we do speak about casino games. Gambling isnt really just for rich people on which everyone is really free on engaging or playing into and doesnt matter whether you are rich or poor as long you could have the money to make out bets then it is really for everyone. It is really just that those poor people are really that too desperate when it comes to playing because they are really that hopeful that they could really be able to make money or able to win.
Sufficient money is something that would really be having the advantage specially into those rich people but of course its their money then its their full rights on how they would really be using it.
There are really just those people who are really that too desperate and not be able to think about on what are that supposed to be think up specially when dealing up with gambling.

Your buddy has no clue what he’s talking about. I know that there’s more people who gamble whom DONT have much money or sufficient enough money to smartly be able to spend money gambling, but rich people gamble often too. Both “sides” do plenty of gambling.

Now what I see a lot of is poor people buying lotto tickets as well as playing the power ball or state/countries lotto. Typically these people are desperate and uneducated and don’t realize that it would be much more beneficial to put those dollars, even if a few into an investment of some sort (even shitcoins would be a better investment).

So my question is, is the percentage of the rich gambling lower than the middle and lower class?
Rich people are lower in count comparing with middle class or poor people. So it's a common thing that poor people will gamble more than them but I think it's a passion for everyone. Many rich people Play gambling and they have passion on it and obviously then can afford their loses. But poor people are mostly addicted on gambling because they are forced by their economical crisis. Still some of them have passion on gambling because if you think you have a great observation and decision taking power then you will obviously be successful in gambling.

I oftenly gamble because I feel passionate on it as it makes me more confident and help to grow more observation power. I will also suggest everyone to grow your skills then play it otherwise fortune will not favoure you everytime.
How can observation and decision-making power have any influence on your gambling when the outcome is solely based on your luck? If you are talking about sports betting, then maybe your observations, knowledge, and experience play some role in making you win some bets, but even in sports betting, you might lose a lot of bets if you are unlucky, when you choose a favorite team and think they will surely win, they will come out as losers because you were not destined to win that bet.

And apart from sports betting, in no other part of gambling, you can improve your winning chances with any observation or decision-making power or anything in the world, you might be able to win some hands in Poker, but you will need some luck in that too as you will need to have a good hand every time to win.

One point that comes into my mind after reading your point is that low-income salaried individuals are more prone to engaging in gambling, fueled by the desire to achieve significant winnings.
Gambling give them the hope of winning big with a small investment yet they tend to overlook the reality that repeated losses can accumulate into significant financial burdens.
Frequently indulging in gambling leads to the development of addiction, compounding their financial struggles as they continue to lose money.

Rich people do not play for profit, they just look for a source of adrenaline, and the higher the bet, the stronger the sensation. If the bets are too high this can become a big problem because they can lose a lot of money, which even for wealthy people will be tangible. But the majority plays for the sake of making money, and this looks very doubtful.

I think that everyone knows how small the chances of winning the lottery are, they are so low that you can buy lottery tickets all your life and never hit the jackpot. But despite this, there are those who buy tickets every draw, of course, this is all done for the sake of money, and yet some lucky ones manage to win, so people continue to believe and buy tickets. I am skeptical about lotteries and do not believe that it is possible to win.
And I think some people buy lottery tickets their whole life and are still willing to buy them even if they've never won one. That's because they are willing to use a small income budget to buy lottery tickets and hope they can win the jackpot. People keep buying lottery tickets because they have seen so many people win the jackpot that they think it will be their chance to win one day. They still buy because their beliefs and expectations are higher than their chances of winning, so they still want to try their luck by buying lottery tickets.

The rich people who play gamble still care about the money despite how how rich they are, but I know everyone have a reason why they play gamble. The truth is that most people play game to generate income , even with this target some people are very conscious with the way they involve themselves with gamble. From the financial level we all found ourselves,  when playing gambling we have different reasons for playing gamble, some might be playing because they are broke and some also play because they need another form of making money,  some play because of fun of winning double of what they staked.

I agree with this assertion because in my country I discovered that majority of the gamblers do so to source for extra income to cater for there financial needs, infact there are some gamblers who rely solely on income from gambling due to joblessness, I see no reason why a well to do individual who has sufficient need will embark on gambling except if it is for fun.

Absolutely the numbers of lower and middle class individuals involved in gambling is far more than the rich because a lot of them in there bid to source for alternative means of income or earning resorted to gambling, though some rich class might also involve in gambling but I think they do so once in a while by a wagering with a huge sum of money .
