O yes,  I still do gamble.  I really don't think or like to think that it's a waste of time. When you look at a lot of things in the world. You would know that almost everything involves gambling. You go to study in school,  it is a gamble. You might not get your dream job. You started a new business to make money, it is gamble, you might not get want you desire. And that's how it goes. What matters most is how well you can reduce the risk. I for example do gamble on casinos. Do you want to know my secret? I would tell you. First and foremost,  I chose a good casino. It's true that gambling companies must make profit at the end of the month or year and these come from the losing money. But there are still always small and big winners too.

As long as your having a good time it's not a waste of money.  Look at all the hobbies people spend money onL video games, movies, cars, fashion, etc.  I just see gambling as entertainment so even if you lose money it's not a total loss.  A waste of time? that is debatable, some people think life is ultimately pointless so nothing you do really matters.

For me, I think there are two perspective with this.

First, if you will see gambling as a way to get money easily then maybe it will waste your money and time. If you lose your money, there is a tendency that you will seek for revenge and get another money again to retrieve what has been lost to you - money.

Second, if you will see gambling as a way to have fun only then I think its not a waste of time. Even though you lose your money, its ok for you since you enjoyed gambling and the stress has been removed thanks to gambling.

I second to this mate.
If we are doing it for fun in anything in life, not just on gambling, the process seems light and less stressful.
However, if you gamble for profit, it is really emotion extensive and very stressful.

Very well said. Gambling for fun its not a waste of time if you are looking for an activity to remove your stress.

You'll be less productive if your main goal is to make money. I've done that before and I can't say that its a total waste of time, you'll get something in return but most of it are not in our favor.

I gamble for fun and to socialize with my friends or other people. I honestly think that gambling is not a good hobby to start with. Most in my family likes gambling, I think it's a complete waste of time and money. If you play for fun, it would be less stressful and you will be more productive.
