Although I don't keep track of my gambling, I can suggest to you to create a spreadsheet which contains about the date, deposit, win, and loss. That is the things that you can write so you can see how much the percentage of your win and lose, and that is a simple record that you can make. You can modify the list by adding more list you want.
you don't need these if you are not serious with your purpose in gambling, if you are solely having fun, you just have to stick with what you spend now and never go beyond, always control yourself and stay discipline.

I don't see gambling as an investment because, in gambling, we spend some money, but we will hard to earn money from gambling. I never think about making money because I know that it will be too difficult for me.
That's on you but there are people who are seeing it as a good investment, at least you know and you are honest to yourself that it's difficult for you to win,  it's important to be realistic as we are dealing with money when we are gambling.

For what reason in tracking your losses in gambling? From the start, if you applied this to your self "gamble that you can afford to lose" there's nothing important to know how much your losses or even your winnings.
But even if you are loosing only what you would afford loosing still you need pay taxes and you need to fill how much you have spent on what, right?
That is a different story here. It will depend on which country you resided in and probably this is now a case to case basis.
If your government allows you to gamble and asking you to pay tax under their jurisdiction, so maybe a spreadsheet or documentation of what you have spend in gambling is needed. In order to calculate your tax payment. But if not, I don't think what is the importance of tracking how much you have been spent in gambling.

But even if you are loosing only what you would afford loosing still you need pay taxes and you need to fill how much you have spent on what, right? Also on a second thought I think anyone who gambles daily must maintain a small spreadsheet where they can just fill how much they loose daily/weekly and calculate how much they are loosing every month or year because while we feel like we are only loosing what we can afford loosing but sometimes when we total up the lost amounts, it makes us realize that it is not worth loosing so much just for fun.

But for gamblers like me who do it for fun, I don't see a need for making such sheets or calculating because I myself mostly gamble with bonus/faucet and sometimes with my own money when I am just too bored to do anything else.

Gambling is just a little part of life and allocating funds for it separately will be very funny because I mean it is like allocating funds for how many movies I will watch this month or pre-determining how money I will spend on candies lol.

I can tell you are just gambling for entertainment only, that what people do if they just want to enjoy a bit and they would not worry if they will loss.
Actually that is a good attitude, it's a real meaning of having fun as when you have fun you have to spend but here still spend but you have a chance to win also but you are not expecting a win most of the time and you don't chase your loses.

What you get is entertainment and that's worth of your money you spent.

I usually play sometimes because I am not an active player. The times I have won I have invested in crypto or bought something for my home.
Usually, I make a spreadsheet to know how to distribute the good use of my money. Because I have my intention to save for the future of my children.
you are not an active player but you are making spreadsheets for your gambling activities?thats cool and it is the first time i read such thing.

or maybe those non regular gamblers are more detailed than regular?because they treasure more the money as they need for their future.

This is the first time I also read about it.

Either he is so careful or he really wants to look for himself not to be fallen into addiction, it might be an overacting but still, you are taking care of yourself and that is good. I stopped tracking my losses and wins since I thought that is not necessary since I am not addicted and I can control myself but I guess it is not that bad to do it for self-reflection, isn't it?

There are individuals that have that kind of mentality. The people I know of, not only the money they allotted for gambling or entertainment purposes but every bit of their daily expenses. In that way, they said they know where their money is going to. Not to be stingy but to have the grasp how much in a month is spent in food, bills, fuel, and others. I think it also helps in managing your financial expenditures but you really do need patience in doing that. Also, that strategy, you will see which part you can save. But on my end, when it comes to my gambling activities, I don't record it as like others, I'm not really a regular gambler so for me, there's no need to jot down all those bets. I just enjoy the game basically.

I never allocate any specific funds for gambling but rather when I get my salary I make my purchases and at the end of the month I have some money left over which is what goes for gambling next month. Not just gambling but whenever I want to buy something expensive it goes the same way, I try and save more and end of month I calculate how much I have in hand and plan according to that.

If I keep a track of money that I used and lose in gambling I will just feel sad on how much I lose LOL, hahaha. For me, gambling is for entertainment and a way to kill time and enjoy. Some people gambling for money to earn is usually lose, so I am just gambling for fun now, sometimes for money too but I am ready to lose that money and that's just my extra money. I usually lose in gambling and sometimes win so if I keep track on it I will just make myself sad considering that I could buy a lot on the money that I lose. Let's just enjoy gambling Grin

The problem is that when you become used to the enjoyment & you have no other place get more or equal enjoyment, you'll most likely become addicted to gambling. I think I wouldn't be betting regularly if I am not earning consistently from it.
Maybe the successful bettors should enjoy betting.

In my initial start of gambling I used to write my gambling activity on a paper.
Now after some years I use spreadsheets that allow me handle my profits and losses and see if I am going to continue betting or stop. If I have a huge streak of losses I usually take a break for a week or two and start over again.
The good thing when you do have tracks into your wins and losses is that you can foresee if its good to take a break or would continue. It will depend or vary if you do
make profits or suffering from deep loss. Some people prefer on this way and some doesnt really care at all.

I'm not a pro gambler nor an addicted guy. However, when I do gambling on casino, I used to deposit a certain balance and if I can manage to get a good winning, I simply withdraw some part of my winning and leave the rest into the casino. For sportsbet, I have seperate fund with a BTC address which I use only for sportsbet. Hence, I don't need different things to do to track the record.

We are just the same on which any amount that had been deposited for a specific gambling game doesnt really have any tracks at all because since from the beginning
i do already treat for these funds already lost.

do you registerhow much you separate for gambling?
do you see it as an investment?

No, I don't see it as an investment. It's pure gambling money.

if yes, how do you track it?
simples spreadsheets, physical notebooks or maybe some different way?

So I don't know if we really need to track it. Although I have tried multiple times to write every money that I play, but when I'm on a losing streak, forgot about it and just thinking of recovering the money that I lost which is one of the stupidest thing to do when you are a gambler.

That is a bad idea if you think gambling is a form of investment, yet you can invest in the online gambling platform bankroll and I think that is what OP means. Don't ever think and treat gambling is a source of income or a sort of investment, think first those consequences of what gambling has.

It's quite an act to measure and becoming curious about betting that is why some people are doing this, they have their own list of funds they've bet, including the time and date regarding it, just to figure out if their number of winnings is higher than their losses and with the over funds alloted to it. But I think with people who are experiencing too much fun while gambling could just bet any amount he wants and not consider the frequency of betting he executes. Because for me, it will not matter anymore, if you win allot like a jackpot in betting on gambling sites. Your mind will look after it like you're being addicted.

Well, What about keep track patterns while betting? Well, in that way, we might find some holes and win allot if we get the strategy to a particular game.

Nope, I don't register how much I spend for gambling. Gambling comes anytime not necessarily scheduled so I cannot be accurate on my expenses. But I don't gamble much.

Gambling as investment? Of course not. That must be a silly thing to equate gambling and investment. Investment is for ROI not for fun and burning money. Gambling is the complete opposite.

I have tested in wallet gambling and I like it a lot, as I can log in to a decentralized casino [dApp] using directly my crypto wallet. In one condition: the used wallet must have listed the relevant dApp [decentralized casino] within its database in the wallet menu
