More than one months I have stop with gambling and never take my time for seeing match football to betting, I think enough with how much money gone by gambling and better use my money for trading or investing. Better hold and save your money and never use again for betting because is not good for your financial way.

Not all people can give up gambling completely because they enjoy it. The most important thing is to learn to control yourself and it does not matter if you control the bankroll or the game time. In my opinion, trading as well as gambling carries high risks of losing money, but investing is a more intelligent approach to one's finances.
in gambling there are only two possibilities that occur, namely winning or losing, and this will also affect the consideration of whether we will still return to gambling or decide to stop playing because I think gambling is like someone who is addicted to drugs, because indeed the sensation of feeling tense while waiting the result of winning or losing when gambling becomes a pleasure for the player so that usually he will forget about the disadvantage and bad effects that might happen to him.

I have never played online gambling because I have no expertise in online gambling, and I also really don't want to try it even though it seems easy or simple because I am afraid of being addicted. I prefer traditional gambling and playing with friends and betting small amounts of money and all of that just for fun, and playing when there is time to hang out because we already have our own busy lives and play just for fun.
You don't have to be an expert if you want to make online gambling a place to have fun. Just deposit some of your crypto and play the game and exit when you've had enough. If you are afraid of being addicted, then at that time your mindset on gambling has changed to a place to look for profit, not a place for fun anymore. You must have at least one reason why you are gambling, if it is for fun there is no difference between online and traditional.

I prefer to use Kritpo for long-term investments because I don't want my coins to just disappear, and long-term investments are definitely profitable.
If so, you may not be suitable to try and engage in gambling. It is not true that you make gambling a place to make a profit unless you are an investor there.

The view point is one sided and you don't know what can be happened in gambling even after knowing about it from here. It is not likely wasted your time a lot where you spend a lot of time in trading or crypto research. By the way, its all about your decision what you will do. But you can try atleast to see what is there is the other side which is gambling.
You wont really get addicted if you are really aware on what you are doing but if you do find yourself to be that impulsive or be that emotional then its better to avoid it
while you can but actually it isnt really bad to test it out for the sake of cursioity or does really need to answer something which comes into your mind but be sure
that you dont make yourself addicted with just few tries. There are really people whom do easily hooked up thats why we should really be careful.
For those who dont want to lose money then gambling isnt for you but if you do mind on paying for the sake of entertainment then it isnt
bad to try or test it out.

I have no control over gambling time. I simply allocate no more than $100 to the game and play until I lose these funds. If my deposit goes up to $200 I quit and only come back to play a few days later. This approach gives me an emotional cool down.

I started using this rule after one big loss. It is the one that taught me to restrain my emotions and control my bankroll.
but you always gamble until spending all the money and having no money left?

time management is a great science, those who master it will definitely live a happier life.

we must be alert with things that take time and we don't see as well like social media and other things that could make addiction and dependence easier.
with online gambling getting more popular these are things to be alert about.

From what I understood, he will play up until he consume all the $100 but if he is winning and goes to $200, he will quit for the time being. That's a simple approach on how not to get addicted. Because for some gamblers, they will continue to play if they are winning.  And that will more than likely be the start of addiction. If you do really follow your desires, you will not stop up until you are broke or deep in debt.

it's a nice method, you're right, but what happens after? he keeps gambling with 200? withdraw 100 and stays with 100?

many ways to play the game.
and many games to choose to play.

In trading and investing, there are also some factors beyond our control that can cause serious losses of funds. Such factors include a sharp fall in the price of the asset being invested, a sharp reduction in liquidity, hacking, scams, etc.

Trading and investing are high risk activities and if you invest in low risk assets your returns will be small.

Maybe it is difficult to stop right away from gambling but we can try to stop gambling slowly so that it will not feel difficult. Maybe we can reduce the time to gamble and reduce the money because that is how to prevent from playing gambling for a long time. Learning to control yourself will be important and that needs an effort to do that and that will need time to succeed in controlling yourself. Trading and investment will have its risk but we can manage the risk not become bigger.

Personally I think it is a good idea to never gamble until your money runs out, even if there is a single dollar left on your account it is important to not gamble all your money away in a  single session, if you can do this consistently then you are proving yourself constantly that you are the one in control and not your gambling desires, and at the same time if you are unable to do this then this will be a sign to be worried about and will allow you to act before you get addicted to gambling.

This is about how do you make sure that you are gambling in full control. There are many people who are easily brought into gambling beyond fun and that is a problem for them and also for the gambling industry, because it is for them that there are limitations in many countries.

Do you actually...
- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
- Have someone helping you control your gambling?
There are many people who gamble without limits or budget plans. They have endless greed, when they lose, they keep playing to want to get back the lost money. It was a mistake and they could lose it al. As for me, I always set limits for myself when I gamble, not exceed my budget and the time allowed even though I lose and lost money while gambling. Another problem, I think that no one can control your gambling but yourself

4 hours a day seems like quite a long time. Are you sure you are in control all four hours? I mean, I am sure there is people who can do it, but I personally would be keen on restricting my playing to one hour a day. I take it that it also depends on the game, since poker can be more active and you can keep playing longer with small bets, but betting on casinos and the like... 4 hours may be a small fortune I would say.
If you are able to play 4 hours a day that means either you have a much bigger bank balance to play longer or you are wagging really small amounts. I do not spend this much long, i do play some games here and there according to my mood and my main is sports betting and there were times when i busted completely in the casino and with the transaction charges higher it will take much longer to get the coins confirmed and hence i do have the patience to stay away from it as well Grin.

Big bank roll is not really necessary since even if you have only enough money you can possibly last that timeline, but you need discipline plus you can add proper execution of plan so that you can last long in a day, But I can't really do this as there are so many jobs that needed to take care in the morning and night so possibly at my end I can only spend maximum 2 hours in day with small balance brought maybe hundreds of bucks just to have fun only.

1) Yes ofc, I never deposit the amount that can't afford to bust on gambling platforms.
2) Only happened once and I paid it back.
3) About 4 hours in a day, max was 48 hours when I was chasing live game bonus.
4) I prefer to gamble alone, society can affect my decisions.
5) No one, since I mastered controlling my emotions.
wow 4hours by day? Everday? You seem to be a big gambler even if you are confined at home for a lock down in your country or your area. Unfortunately when we gamble we don't learn many things most of the time and we don't earn much money expect if we are lucky, so it can be perceived as a waste of time by people who don't understand what is fun in gambling unfortunately.

Winning, losing, stopping or addiction is the logical situation of gambling but house chores, work, etc shouldn't be the only way for you not to gamble more often because if those things are no longer your duty there's a huge chance for you to gamble with your pension fund.
I will limit my gambling and I can easily say I have not gambled more than 10times this year.
Winning and lossing are the only outcome that we may face whenever we were going to gamble. Stopping yourself to become so much addicted in gambling was all on your own already, how you manage yourself to have a time management for gambling and limitation of yourself of how much risk you are going to take for the seek of gambling. In my personak experience, I do have a limitation in gambling, be it in time and on the money that I am going or willing to take risk.
All that is under self-control in gambling, there is no draw, of course, win with a loss, now that if there is luck then there will be more what is expected, all the risks must be ready. Gambling is one of the games that are often addictive so it's true that control exists inside of us and how to hold it back then we think harder to be able to manage everything in the finances and also the specified time, don't spend more this will make us suffer, I'm sure everyone in the game of gambling will feel deep darkness, right? there we can take important lessons to stay disciplined
I think is something about gambling you seem not to be aware of.
@molsewid, the buzz is the major thing every gambler faces whenever they are gambling not winning or losing because, to begin with, buzz is what makes every gambler to keep coming despite the chance of winning is always 1%. It the buzz that need to be put under control without that time management, the limitation will be zero.
@Furious 7, people are addicted to things that have to do with games not only gambling that's why we see some football fans fighting their opponent fans.

10 times a year is almost once a month. And as he said it was this year, more than twice a month then. I think it's a pretty responsible approach for a healthy gambling routine.
That's a good approach if someone gambles with that time, he sure knows how to manage his time and his time allocated in gambling.

Most people have only enough money to play a little bit without compromising money they can't afford to lose, so better that they limit their gambling sessions and budget. This way it's possible to have some fun, while not spending too much. The perfect combination!
Sometimes it's the opponent, there are gamblers that are willing to take risk and gamble with the amount more than they afford to lose and at the end, they regret after realization.

but you always gamble until spending all the money and having no money left? ~

When playing gambling you can end up winning, losing and stopping. I try to leave the game having won but we all know that the preponderance is always on the side of the gambling platform so I often end up losing the game but I do not allow myself to lose more than 100$.

I don't play very often due to lack of free time and of course, like everyone else, I can be distracted by household chores or work, in which case I have to stop playing. That's why I try to play at night when I'm not distracted or disturbed.

On your situation then it might be really that way but there are people whom do prefer on playing gambling for their leisure times and we know that each of us do really need up some time like that.

This might differ on what type it is but there are whom really stick and tend to gamble into their own money for the sake of that and its reality but for those who don't want to get involved

or just simply test out for curiosity then 10x gamble a year? that cant really be considered a gambling time but rather some test out which is a good way on avoiding
to be addicted or simply wasting up your money.
