Winning, losing, stopping or addiction is the logical situation of gambling but house chores, work, etc shouldn't be the only way for you not to gamble more often because if those things are no longer your duty there's a huge chance for you to gamble with your pension fund.
I will limit my gambling and I can easily say I have not gambled more than 10times this year.
Winning and lossing are the only outcome that we may face whenever we were going to gamble. Stopping yourself to become so much addicted in gambling was all on your own already, how you manage yourself to have a time management for gambling and limitation of yourself of how much risk you are going to take for the seek of gambling. In my personak experience, I do have a limitation in gambling, be it in time and on the money that I am going or willing to take risk.
All that is under self-control in gambling, there is no draw, of course, win with a loss, now that if there is luck then there will be more what is expected, all the risks must be ready. Gambling is one of the games that are often addictive so it's true that control exists inside of us and how to hold it back then we think harder to be able to manage everything in the finances and also the specified time, don't spend more this will make us suffer, I'm sure everyone in the game of gambling will feel deep darkness, right? there we can take important lessons to stay disciplined

but you always gamble until spending all the money and having no money left? ~

When playing gambling you can end up winning, losing and stopping. I try to leave the game having won but we all know that the preponderance is always on the side of the gambling platform so I often end up losing the game but I do not allow myself to lose more than 100$.

I don't play very often due to lack of free time and of course, like everyone else, I can be distracted by household chores or work, in which case I have to stop playing. That's why I try to play at night when I'm not distracted or disturbed.

On your situation then it might be really that way but there are people whom do prefer on playing gambling for their leisure times and we know that each of us do really need up some time like that.

This might differ on what type it is but there are whom really stick and tend to gamble into their own money for the sake of that and its reality but for those who don't want to get involved

or just simply test out for curiosity then 10x gamble a year? that cant really be considered a gambling time but rather some test out which is a good way on avoiding
to be addicted or simply wasting up your money.

I stopped gambling maybe 3-4 years ago but I will answer each question to the best of my ability:

Quote
- Have a weekly budget to play and do not ever go over it?
Before, I used to have a daily budget of around $20 and I mostly bet them on e-sports in gambling in-game skins. My brother, on the other hand, did not have any limit as to his budget whenever he visited casinos.

Quote
- Not ever get in debt for gambling?
Fortunately enough, I never got any debt in my gambling spree. However, there were times that I needed some cash in order to be one more game as I wanted to recover my losses quickly.

Quote
- Have an allocated time for gambling and never exceed it?
I tried as much as possible to limit my time whenever I gamble but most of the time I exceed my allocated time due to the nature of gambling. There were also some times that I exceeded my daily limit and this happened when I experienced a losing spree.

Quote
- Gamble only socially with friends of relatives?
- Have someone helping you control your gambling?
I usually gamble alone but my brother insisted on me keeping an eye on him whenever he goes beyond his limit. Fortunately also, I did not think that I experienced addiction as I knew my responsibilities as a student. Even though there were days that I spent beyond my limit, I never truly struggled and become addicted to gambling.

As you said there are still many gamblers who fail to limit themselves in playing gambling, because it must be admitted if we have found
excitement in playing gambling. Without realizing it, we will continue to play gambling until our capital runs out. Therefore, when playing
gambling, we really have to train how we are committed to the decisions we have made. So that we can limit ourselves when playing gambling.
Then advising friends is what we have to do, but the way we advise someone must be in a good way. Don't let the friends we advise feel
offended by the words we use.
Advising a friend is the difficult part that we can do, especially if they found a good moment in playing gambling, making them feel that we disturb their time playing gambling. If we do not advise them not to play gambling for a long time, they can run out of money without any chance to recover the losses. Maybe we saw some friends losing their money in an offline or online casino before, so we knew how they felt. We do not want them to have that experience, so we always remind and advise them to stop gambling after playing for a while. Yes, we can use a good way to advise them, no matter if that will hard to tell them to quit gambling.

I have no control over gambling time.
Actually, I am also the same as you.
No exact time to gamble, but I make sure it won't make me neglectful. Just gamble once I have spare time or have no important agenda in daily life.

I simply allocate no more than $100 to the game and play until I lose these funds.
This means you limit your funds in gambling.
Not all gamblers can do this, it is great if you can limit your funds. Don't break it, you must commit to the maximum allocation of $100. If you break it once, then you will break it more.

I have no control over gambling time. I simply allocate no more than $100 to the game and play until I lose these funds. If my deposit goes up to $200 I quit and only come back to play a few days later. This approach gives me an emotional cool down.

This is weird. So if your bankroll will fluctuate around your 100 dollars, you will play endlessly?  Grin (jk)

I'm playing not more than two times in a week (at least that I WAS done before bullmarket in crypto. Now i don't have time mostly) with a fixed bankroll. Much better

Limiting out your gambling time is a must but majority of gamblers do really missed out or fail to do so even if its too basic to hear on.
Basic as it is but many are failing to comply due to the satisfaction that's not being met. And losing also plays the part that prolongs our stay in a casino that makes us want to gamble more even if we've already said that we're going to gamble in a limited time.
Limitation helps us not to fall into addiction and if we care about ourselves, our future, this should be taken and acted seriously otherwise, we end up nothing.
I consider gambling just a pleasure and I'm even to manage just once a week. It is just a practice and makes a habit.
We are in a crisis now, gambling should not be a priority.
There are those gamblers like you that can manage to control their gambling activity and the time you allocate are easily managed. But for some, we've seen countless times that they've became addicted because they lack control to themselves.
They can start from managing their time if they cannot do it to control the amount of money they put into bet.

time management is a great science, those who master it will definitely live a happier life.

Yeah. I used to get into that bad habit of spending the first hour of every day gambling before I get ready for the day. I got tired of it.
I've been taking a little longer before getting out of bed lately, and I'm not regretting it. Every day now begins differently for me.

We arent that insensitive for us not to notice on whats wrong and whats right and in the time we do able to realize then we do make out changes directly.Mistakes and errors
is there but doesnt mean that we cant completely stop it if we wanted to. Why would go ahead if we do see that it will really be giving out some negatives soon?
Everything should be in control or in moderation because dealing up things into excessive manner does signify addiction and we know that addiction is really a bad
thing if you do tend to tolerate it, not only on messing out your finance but also into your whole life.

I started using this rule after one big loss. It is the one that taught me to restrain my emotions and control my bankroll.

time management is a great science, those who master it will definitely live a happier life.

we must be alert with things that take time and we don't see as well like social media and other things that could make addiction and dependence easier.
with online gambling getting more popular these are things to be alert about.

From what I understood, he will play up until he consume all the $100 but if he is winning and goes to $200, he will quit for the time being. That's a simple approach on how not to get addicted. Because for some gamblers, they will continue to play if they are winning.  And that will more than likely be the start of addiction. If you do really follow your desires, you will not stop up until you are broke or deep in debt.

I don't think gambling is something that can be given a budget. because gambling is like a suggestion. if you win you will always feel you can win more, if you lose you need to spend more budget to restore previous losses. Yes it's something that is hard to control. Gambling is more fun if it's just a hobby, not an exaggeration for sure.
To me that seems like a dangerous attitude to have, it is true that one of the good things about gambling is that adrenaline rush you get while you are gambling but those that let themselves by dominated by those kind of feelings are the ones that end up becoming addicted to gambling, and since that is something that we do not want for ourselves then we need to find a way to protect ourselves and the best way you can do this is by assigning a budget and a time limit to how much time and money you decide to use when you gamble.

I'm not a big gambler I always make a gamble every time I just have time and just enough having a hunted dollars just to play again it's good of you to have extra money to gambling and not serve a work because it's risky right now still we can't bring back due to this pandemic.

I always set a limitation to my self like if I lose all of those balance I need to take a rest and try gambling again within an couple of months to avoid getting frustrated with too many losses the same with the losses if you make a large amount of win take hold for your self because it doesn't give you too much if you become greedy.
This is a great way to avoid a huge amount of loss and proves that you have full control over your gambling activity as you have successfully manage your funds for gambling whether it's for a daily, weekly or monthly activity. Also, controlling yourself over loss of funds is something that most of us can't overcome which is main reason why people keep coming back for more and having a huge loss or win.

I too, have managed myself to control my funds for gambling on a weekly activity and limit myself to not spend a dollar more whether I win or loss it. But most of the time, I myself loss my funds even though being able to 1000x my initial funds as I've lost control over my funds.

Basically  no matter how long you play gambling on each session wont make you addicted to gambling if you can control yourself. I also have a friend who gamble almost every single day but he is not addicted as he can start and stop it anytime anywhere as he wish. Addiction is the time when you cant control yourself, you do not know when to start and when to stop. As long as you know it, you wont be addicted. The same applies for video games such as Playstation. I myself also gambling almost everyday because of some competition, I'm not addicted obviously as I have a limit for myself. Limit for both time and money.

It's a good thing if you can actually play gambling every day without becoming addicted, because not everyone can be like you. In my opinion,
it is not easy to control myself, it needs process and practice. I am also currently in the process of learning to be able to control myself when
gambling. Even though until now I still fail to be able to control myself properly, so I don't dare to play gambling every day.

~
Limiting the time to play gambling will always be suggested to all gamblers to help them prevent the addiction. But unfortunately, not many gamblers will do that because once they found the excitement of playing gambling, they will forget about limitations and play longer than usual.

We might see many friends who are playing gambling finally become addicting to gambling and we can not do something for them because they do not want to get help from us. But we can at least try to give something that may be worth it for them and we can always warn them about the danger of playing gambling for some time.
