I think it is impossible that those big business man out their money into alts, it is just like putting their money into very risk situation why? It iz because tgeir is such as stable coins other than bitcoin some were just bumping coin and dump later on.
Alt coin market is like a ocean ,you could see many potential coins as well as copy scripts and you will see the dump coins in the latter category .There are much better alternatives than bitcoin in terms of transaction fees and the speed of transfer but you cannot compare bitcoin and the rest when it comes to valuation.

I have been seeing Bitcoins' price rising with a stability in its growth, but due to the higher mining fee that is being levied on transactions these days, big businesses are now moving their funds towards alts and taking advantage with their least fees as well as shaping a completely new economy in the trends of altcoin markets. Do you think this may harm Bitcoin's dignity and open up a chance in real for alts to rise?
I think no Altcoin can ever replace bitcoin. When bitcoin is on rise, there is a lot of congestion in network and people switch to Alts and that is the main reson their migratinf to Alts but if we solve this network congestion issue,Altcoins will not stand any chance to beat bitcoin.
Asking the real question here, how to solve this network congestion? as I've seen that this problem haven't resolved since many times ago and it's kinda serious problem for bitcoin, but, even if bitcoin having this problem, the users still stay regardless. There's nothing wrong if some people might migrating over alts due to the problem they face in bitcoin, but, what we can do to solve this network congestion issue? I think none.

At this point, I'd definitely say diversify your cryptocurrency holdings and keep your fingers crossed. Bitcoin may stay on top, but that's not guaranteed and the current network congestion plus all this infighting over Bitcoin Core, SegWit and the latest thing that Roger Ver said is definitely not helping.

Chances of alts to rise is there but you don't have to worry about it as most of us are making bitcoin as our main crypto. And the whole market is centered for using bitcoin. What big businesses you are saying that move their bitcoins for alts? Most of the businesses will always remain with bitcoin they don't want to take the risk.
Bitcoin is an early bird and it has succeeded in cornering almost all the worms, however since it is incapable of eating all the worms at once the birds that came later are sure going to help themselves to the loot, especially if Bitcoin is carefree not to fend off what it got or stamping its feet to assert its authority over its territory.

By the way, the recent surge in the prices of most altcoins were indeed as a result of increase in demand for the altcoins, but I think those businesses were merely experiment just in case, Bitcoin started a free fall.

For me, bitcoin is too expensive. I've been looking at the alternative technologies to see if I might be able to get in on the ground level of something great. So far, I haven't invested in anything yet, but I have a couple I've been watching very closely.

Altcoins are just market movers and helping bitcoin as a test element. See litecoin is going to activate segwit first and bitcoin community is going to watch how it will be going with. On good results, bitcoin will activate it hopefully when all other things also get set.

Altcoins could never become a competitor for bitcoins in my understanding. But we need update and enhance bitcoin ecosystem to stay versatile to keep its position more securely.

There is some altcoins having a chance to work for longterm , but i think there is no altcoin is able to take the first place of crypto currencies, which is secured for Bitcoin especially. Many altcoins can't even be online without the existence of Bitcoin, as there is no possibility to trade them but with Bitcoin

At the moment I don't see that some altcoin has so large potential that it could overtake Bitcoin or even be some serious competition. The only one that has partialy taken the Bitcoin place on darknets is Monero because of the larger anonimity and no possibility to trace. The problem with Bitcoin transactions large fee can't help the altcoins that much.

Definitely alts have chances against Bitcoin to overtake it, but not altcoins and ofcourse not in very near future. But it seems tough, because people love Bitcoins, but simultaneously their are issues which needs to be solved or else, alts will surely have their chances.
Actually all altcoins have a possibility to overtake bitcoin but since bitcoin is the most known and most used of all, it would be hard for those to do it. But just as OP said that due to large fees being taken for each transaction on bitcoin makes others investors to switch on other coins but I doubt that other coins would still have a less fees once they became popular like bitcoin.
Like this many bad experience cut off a large fee for each transaction, delay the transaction being confirmed on bitcoin surely there make a chance to switch on other altcoins. But right now it's pretty good that we believe in bitcoin and it's potential power. Yet, look further what happened next.

no chance. because bitcoin is like run gold.
do u see silver can surpass bitcoin, no.

But if big transfer, doge will be less risk.
altcoin only play as a sub.

I think we do not know what will happen in the future? bitcoin technology may be obsolete and there are other coins are much more sophisticated. isn't that opportunity for another coin to take over bitcoin?

That will never happen in future also. Bitcoin is the best among all the crypto currency. I do not think any altcoin may rise against bitcoin and in price wise or in adoption rate. Most of them does not know the name of all the altcoins. Recently ETH has moving faster in popularity and in price but not comparable with the bitcoin now and ever.

We can never know? but I think Altcoins have a long way to travel and because of the value of bitcoin has sky rocket to the top the competitors was way back behind it and I do not like to say that other coins doesn't stand a chance against bitcoin because there might have a chance in the future that is why I don't want to talk big and finish them that way, and beside Altcoin have a very steep road to take because on 2018 Russia would now legalize in using bitcoin.
Comparing bitcoin price to the other altcoins can show up a huge backlog between these two worlds.
It is because that the crowd have heard about bitcoin first, and they know really good that most of the people are into blockchain network, not on some altcoin network.
There are also people who use bitcoin and altcoins, however the number of them is surely smaller than the users that adopted only bitcoin.

If we talk about cryptocurrency, the most of the trust all over the world is given to bitcoin, the rest of cryptocurrency world is rather a big mash-up, where nobody knows which altcoin has the biggest chance to overcome bitcoin popularity and usage.

All alts would have the same problems as bitcoin eventually. They would either become with blockchains that are too bloated, transactions too expensive and slow...

Only alt that could challenge it is an that can scale without node centralization and that alt does not exist.
True.  However, every new cryptocurrency has different use cases and different situations that they're practical in, unless they're a shitcoin.  Monero, for example, has better anonymity and therefore is used by a lot of criminals.  Bitcoin will never be quite as good for that even though it can be anonymous if you know what you're doing.  Therefore, alts don't "have chances" against Bitcoin, but they do have chances to be legitimate parts of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and to help progress by innovating new solutions to existing problems without requiring experimentation or forks from Bitcoin.
