Yes, I think that's how it should be, or I mean the experience that a gambler has is most likely only useful to avoid various unwanted possibilities, especially when you are involved in a type of casino game considering that there is no data that can be analyzed to increase the chances of winning.
As you said, one of which is knowing when is the right time to start and when is the right time to stop, that is an ability that is possible for a gambler to have when they are able to use their experience as a learning material.

But actually I think a gambler does not need to have experience first to know what is right and what is wrong regarding behavior in approaching gambling, because if from the start they see gambling from a rational perspective in the sense of not only focusing on the chances of winning but also paying attention to the negative side, then they should know or be able to distinguish between which actions or approaches are right and which are wrong, you shouldn't get caught on the wrong path

It is entirely a personal matter. Some prefer to play by building a bankroll, while others place bets when extra money comes to them according to their convenience. There is no restriction on it. But when I win a bet I try to put some money in there. Because in certain bets I am more comfortable taking a little risk which helps me build more excitement. As the bankroll increases the benefits of placing bigger bets, the chances of losing if you gamble unconsciously or if you indulge in gambling in some way also increase. I don't always bet based on bankroll myself. Most of the time I feel more comfortable in sports betting because if there is a favorite match I try to gamble by depositing according to my advantage. I also don't need always set a specific bankroll to bet.

Actually I am sure everyone can think about their condition with what they should do and what they should avoid, but indeed with circumstances that tend to force us to forget things that we should not do. However, I am very sure everyone has the idea that they have to keep themselves okay.
People who are tempted and carried away by the atmosphere are likely to experience misery or a point where they will spend a lot of money to fulfill their desires which are unlikely to happen in gambling.

On my end, I did the same thing and I don't care doing such since I don't really expect to take more profit from gambling due to low probability of winning huge profit. Once there's no good outcome on my set play of bets, then I don't have to do same actions to pursue betting. Not many people manage to control their emotions when they are losing and raging because you often tend to do things out of rage that you shouldn't do but you can't help it, I guess. Yes, I set up limits or manage my funds when I am gambling, I also set up a goal to know when to stop and take profit.
