i think some airdrops nowadays are quite easy, i just generally avoid some airdrops that require some task like social media sharing and etc like that because usually they turned out to be value less and worth less.

well airdrop in general are indeed really boring thing to do, retroactive airdrop is the same too, but that's the thing, the boring keeps majority away from receiving the huge rewards, same case with arbitrum, it was so boring that many didn't want to do the retroactive yet the rewards was humongous.

thats why only follow airdrop and even retroactive airdrop coming from project that has been gathering funding from many rounds and is invested heavily by some exchange that way you'll be more guaranteed.

I have a lot on my list but to be honest, I only did ZkSync because I was hyped after the Arbitrum and Aptos airdrop. I did not even complete all the possible transactions to receive an airdrop. Maybe this is not just my thing. The urge to trade or look for potential play to earn games are more appealing to me. Also, after Sui's announcement that it will not conduct an airdrop, all the remaining determination for me to complete some tasks for coming airdrops was lost as well. Maybe I'll just buy some of these tokens in the future if they drop in price. Arbitrum is on my list of altcoins that I am planning to buy.

Still, airdrop is not that bad for those that have free time to do the tasks. Also, for those that do not want to allocate their money and invest in crypto, airdrops are a good way of acquiring money for free or with minimal amounts used.

it's really hard to determine some project airdrop that are truly meaninful unless there's some big funding to the project from the big venture capital.

Actually it's a strategy that too many project are using. Project teams are really utilizing what is currently on the trend by copying it. In an instant, Too many projects had adopted an airdrop to distribute their token just to gather or make a community without spending that much on marketing. It's proven effective but there are possible cons like degraded long term development, Swapping a token distribution method from the original plan can ruin the distribution. Along with a short term boost from the trend, A certain token that had been airdrop can lose it's traction in long term because of a possible slowing down of a trend. It will all depend on the implementation of the project on how they will execute it.

Overall, Airdrop trendy today as well as profitable, Just take care of the possible exploits or scams.

well, nowadays people are more focused on doing testnet for rewards like ARB and SUI. it's a pretty decent reward I see. if it includes an airdrop, I think it could be a good goal, it's just that as far as I can tell, testnet also needs capital. I never trusted Airdrops advertised through YouTube. At the same time, it is difficult to see a real drop, where it makes sense to participate. Now is the time rather of retrodrops.
