When i used to participated a lot of airdrops and those were valued but now ost of airdrops is scam, try to trap people for their own benefit as op said. But valid airdrop also available now this day. Good project don't run Bounty but airdrop with very small amount. Even nft project give away their nft Through telegram and discord for free and many nft still value for sell. But i avoid airdrop personally cause i Don't have patient enough to trust such shits
Now airdrops and bounty don't get much payment. But few years ago airdrops got good amount of payment. But now most of airdrops are scam. But now bounty is very less payment. Most of the bounty scam. So If it continues then at some point everyone will stop doing bounty for the scam.

I follow usually see telegram groups that actually provide accurate information. i did a small stage before going in to check it out. I usually monitor it from The Airdrop Detective telegram group. Maybe the prize is small, but if it's proven to be paid, I don't think there's anything wrong with joining and participating. For others, more in-depth research is needed.

However, if there are airdrops from popular projects/platforms, I assume people are still interested to join. Most people only avoid joining random airdrops since it is no longer worth it. People already learned much from many failed airdrops of new crypto projects.~but if you want to participate in airdrop, then I suggest you to making a new wallet, because it will be safer for your main wallet~
Sure, always use new wallets for airdrops or bounties.It is not difficult to create new wallets, we can create new wallets on many platforms. But when you consider to create new wallets, you are better to create private wallets, not CEX wallets.
most airdrops are just a waste of time these days. and i believe a lot already come to that understanding. during the early days, remember the golden days of etherdelta? i think a lot of old timers benefited from early airdrops where you can trade in ED. but with the current situation of projects, very rare that you can find valuable project that is worth in the trading market.
if they start asking some personal details just to join the airdrop, better drop it and move on. they may have hidden agenda of collecting those data.

Airdrops nowadays are 99.99% scam and the scammers are just trying to access your wallet. Good old days where airdrops to name a few, have value like $POLY and $DYDX. If you are an active trader using DEXs you can notice some airdrops that has too good to be true diluted marketcap, then that is already a scam. I don't really recommend participate in any airdrops in the current market situation unless it was properly introduced by trusted sources.

it is highly recommended to use a new wallet or not the main wallet, because it will be risky. especially airdrops that require you to connect to new dApps that you haven't trusted. If you have already connected, you can use the Revoke Method to disconnect several dApps that are suspected of being dangerous. The more Airdrops, the more Airdrop scams too. The hype of Aidrop is also not a guarantee that it will give good enough results.
Airdrop promoters via YouTube cannot be generalized as scammers, they can be affiliate hunters, sponsorships, marketing service providers, or others.

Yes still now i,m hunting very good airdrop but at the moments good airdrop finding very difficult because lots of scam airdrop available in markets that's why before joining airdrop need to properly research and than make sure participation.

My advice is to enter the "detectivebounty" group and the "bountyportal" group because there are several airdrops that are distributed to group members to participate in the airdrop.
Best is to avoid altcoins all together and just stick to bitcoin that you store in open source wallet like Electrum or even better hardware wallet. That way you dont have to worry about these types of airdrop scams
It's true that there are so many airdrop scams but they are still some decent ones though fewer in number, my brother and cousin have gotten few NFT as an airdrop and it's worth some good decent amount of money, It's hard finding good airdrop but they still exist.
