No I don't suggest to do air drop because for me I dont give any personal information like captured id that one of requirements. It is too risky to give all your true information and give your id because it have a big possibility to use it in other activity that they are doing that can violate your rights.

It depends if they're giving tokens for free without any hassle, then I would join it but if they would ask for too much information, I will refuse it. There are still good airdrops these days but we have to choose the good ones because most requires Kyc which is not really worth joining.

Back in 2017, airdrop hunters were rewarded very well like in thousands of dollars but now times have changed, and I don't suggest joining them.

These days airdrops can't even be called airdrop, they require you to do tasks, and some even require kyc for penny amount of tokens. Give me a break.

Nowadays many ICOs offer free coins, but we have two problems with this free coins, the first one the value of this coins will drop after start trading due to a lot have free coins willing to sell it, and the second they ask for your ID (KYC), and i think it is very risky to send your IDs to any one.

When it comes to airdrop i think its not nessesary to have IDs or KYC because its only a free coins and its not really profitable in the end. Most of my airdrops token are useless or shit token. Thats why i never do airdrop again its a waste of time and effort.
I do not agree with you, very few ICOs that offer free token without KYC, you can check this by visiting ICOs websites and you will see most of them required KYC.

Airdrops can be a fun way for beginners to obtain some coins or tokens for free and also for anyone who wants to collect some of these assets just in case they appreciate in future and become worth something and although there's not that many available at the present moment IEOs will likely utilize these as a marketing gimmick and should provide more to participate in if they increase further in popularity

I think the labor for airdrops is too undemanding, they do any job for anything, seems there is a lack of self respect for their own job, for themselves. If airdrops members started asking for guarantees and better conditions before applying for the task, the developers would raise the payments.
Participants should ask for payment in another currencies too, it could be an altcoin or bitcoin, since it has a decent price, it's fine, so you know you won't work for nothing. That is my opinion, because airdrops as they are now don't worth, there isn't any guarantee or respect for participants.

Sometimes I think about joining one to see how it does, but then I imagine it's most probable the participants are just being fooled (as the investors as well, if there is someone yet).

I like to participate in airdrops but when it comes to sending my ID that is where I would stop.
I wouldn't risk my personal data because of a penny or a worthless token.
If they really want to give it for free why would they even need to require a KYC?

KYC is only for promising projects and proven to pay. I don't want to give my personal data to join Airdrop. I think that is too dangerous, many cases of data abuse.
but if it's profitable I will give it.
How KYC is only for promising projects and proven to pay?

It depends on your time and your fortune. If you are rich guy, then your time worth much more than for ordinary people, so I think that airdrops aren't for you.

The truth is, before I eagerly joined those airdrops but right now, I don't see anything of value to spend my time with them. It's true, they will require you to complete the KYC thing for few bucks and once it hit the exchanges, you are already too late to catch the peak. Maybe, this is the reason why airdrops are now not an exciting thing for the users here. You will spend your time and effort and risking your identity for few pennies.
I agree with your valid points. Sending the documents for KYC is too risky for me too for the few cents worth tokens. I can count other reasons but some people prefer to participate in the airdrops rather than doing the remote job for as a middleman.

I will never waste my time or sell my identity for free coins which are normally not worth $50. Such projects looks too risky for me to exchange my personal details for their coin. In my personal opinion, KYC should be only done by investors who purchase huge amount of the tokens or the coins..

Airdrop is nothing to people these days and that's the reason why most people now go for bounty campaigns because it earn more than airdrop, airdrop is really stress free unlike that of bounty but nowadays people want bigger pay than what airdrop can offer. All you listed there is nothing when people receive more pay there.

It's always free money. Never say no to free money is one of the rules of life.
I usually participate in airdrops giveaways or even raffles. Every opportunity to earn is good especially if you don't have to work for it.

Those of you who think it's bad money should go outside and try to find that 10 dollars lying on the pavement. You will spend all day and won't find it because people don't let money go to waste. You still have a chance to earn here because not many people know about it.

It is never too bad to recieve something for free, who knows, maybe one day that coin will worth something. It is allways good to get free coins which are listed on coinmarketcap, because they are already traded on exchanges.
Doing KYC for airdrop is mostly bad thing to do, because your data worth more than any airdrop.
Airdrops for holders are great, allways claim them.
Did you know that few of top 10 coins had airdrop?

Most projects encounter with the first problem and it is not worth giving up for it. Join airdrops as investment for the future. The other problem depends on your own choice. Try airdrops that do not need KYC.
