Difficult question to answer but yes it will last till the last crypto trader on earth.If we analyze crypto since 2008 then we would see that there has been many issues against crypto like regulations,bans,FUD but all of these crisis were overlooked by the crypto trader and crypto is thriving by day and night.Today crypto investors are increasing on daily basis.Many strong projects are being arranged in form of different coins which have brought revolution in crypto and IT world.So i can say that in coming future Crypto world would grow immensely.
The crypto currency can last forever until it is invented something better than this, the crypto currency is really better than money and people need time to understand this and wait until the Crypto currency will be less volatile.

The prosperity of cryptos depends a lot on global issues situation on Earth and human priorities. If there are no major ecological catastrophic events, World war 3, massive blackout due to some other reason or a sudden priority on something else than technology (including abandoning most of the tech), then cryptocurrencies are not likely to disappear. Some might almost die by losing lots of marketcap, others will rise instead, but the tech will leave unless there will be found some major hope in the code which breaks the whole cryptography safety thing. certainly, hope will tell it like it is. but either forever or not then there would be no certainty. If the last long I believe Yes. because of its advanced technology support then make crypto is increasingly growing. This will make it easier to reproduce and the demand for coins and make it increasingly has the price soar.
I'll tell you more, they will replace real money. This will not happen immediately. Approximately 5-7 years and we will forget what real money is.
