I'm not sure, bitcoin will not be able to replace the dollar as a currency. Moreover, the dollar is used in nearly all countries in the world. While bitcoin, in some countries rejected ..

Yes. You are right, the governments of some countries are very hostile to bitcoins. But I want to believe that they will change their attitude to the cryptocurrency. But the fact that bitcoin will replace the dollar is still too early to say
i think that it is also a good news that the government is now changing their attitude about bitcoin, they have now start thinking about bitcoin how to turn bitcoin as legal currency and hope that very soon we are going to hear the new about the news that government have consider bitcoin as legal currency of the world and now people can use bitcoin as legal currency.

Even with the positive view of other country to bitcoin, it will never replace  dollar anytime soon. Even the etf were not approved by SEC, what more being an official currency of one country.  Bitcoin is always best being an alternative currency to USD.

Well, you are right about that. I mean, people already use dollar currency since long time ago and bitcoin is not popular as dollar. I think it's hard for bitcoin to replace dollar, people need to know what and how is bitcoin works to get accepted by people and bitcoin don't have a physical unit like paper or coin.

It is not just hard but impossible to happen. Within its lifetime bitcoin could not replace dollars or any of the fiat currency. The basic reason is that the government will not allow it since bitcoin is out of their control and the second is that even if they will adopt bitcoins the total number of bitcoins in the circulation cannot cope up with the actual number of fiat currency in the entire world in circulation.

Nothing is imposible , it is also the true fact that the circulation of bitcoin is less so it will be hard to replace the fiat currency. But no one is thinking that the main object of Bitcoin is that it is the online currency and in the coming time everything will be done online like now itself 50% of lot of work is done online so bitcoin has lot of potential for online business. fiat currency will exist because we all need lot of option in life that is why fiat currency will be in our life

Bitcoin- in bullish time
The problem isnt the government to trust into bitcoin, is the fact that bitcoin its decentralized, soo countries or companies cant control it the way they wanna.
Even taxing bitcoin wont give the countries control over the money circulating over crypto, related to dollars is nowadays the currencie used for every international transaction, and is used a store of value at some countries, bitcoin is a brand new amazing and potencial currencie, that will not replace anything, its just another option to make the same transactions.
Yes government doesn't trust bitcoin because of being decentralized and because they can't control it so they are not interested with that but even though that is happening bitcoin will still be here in the world for additional kind of payment system to make paying of the same transaction even faster and cheaper than the fiat because of low fees of bitcoin in transaction and also fast time confirmations.

I think that this will never happen. The dollar is the currency that the government supports. That's why the dollar will always exist. The government can not trust Bitcoin.
Government support is not the reason why this can never happen. The main  reason why this can't be happen is that, bitcoin is just a digital currency which replaces only fiat money online. Hence, at the end of the day, it has no value if it can't be traded with fiat money since fiat money is only the official money which all over the world accept wether it is small or large community.

Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?
It is acceptable that dollars is already in its last phase as a global reserve currency. But,still bitcoin cannot replace dollars in just 15 years. It would take more time to replace.

I think no it impossible to happen because bitcoin and dollars are big difference, bitcoin is an international currency and it uses all over the world, bitcoin is use in an investment or trading, and bitcoin is a digital currency.  But dollar is US money and it converted in some other countries, and dollar can be used in all payment and all billings. So i think the bitcoin is cannot be replace to dollar soon.

I think no its impossible to happen, because dollar in international money that everyone use it.The dollar is a currency so that its remain. And the Bitcoin is trade and investment. Its hard to do and more processing will need it.
usd indeed a universal currency, there used to be called brettonwoods agreement system, which requires that each 1 $ printed secured with 35 ounces of gold. but since the American war against Vietnam is no longer valid system so that inflation makes usd price continued to fall until now. But bitcoin prices and gold increasingly rising . This shows the interest of the people of the bitcoin and gold rose. So I think there is a chance for bitcoin to replace dollar.

Only government controls a country so bitcoin can't replace the fiat money. They have a good foundation that can not be destroyed just by a cypto-currency. Politicians will not allow any replacement on something that they don't control.

That's exactly right, you are only saying the reality, bitcoin is never a threat to the fiat system because we know its limitation. The people who keeps manipulating the market are getting all the benefits and we as typical investors believe so much in the hype that it will be greater than any currency  and will beat the fiat system. The system is great but the government is too powerful and they won't allow that system to overpower them.

Don't doubt it, I'm sure that bitcoin isn't going to replace dollar anytime from now. Dollar will always be the main currency of US.

And how come they will just simply allow a new crypto to change their currency which is decentralized and can put their economy in danger.

They will only treat it as an investment but not a real currency.
Come to think of it, bitcoin will never be able to replace the dollar, I don’t see it happening, the stability is one of the reasons why it can’t replace it because its price is high and it could just go down at any moment, and the other reason, is that governments won’t allow it, because they don’t have control over it, they may use the idea of a digital currency to make one that they control.

Just like what I've said that it will not going to replace dollar anytime from now as we know that the American government is intelligent.

They will not let a crypto currency which is decentralized conquer their economy cos' it may lead them to collapse.

But I can see that a lot of American's will see bitcoin as a good investment.

Only for a special circle of people, bitcoin can act as an alternative. Many people have not heard of bitcoin, and the bulk of humanity does not want to bother themselves with the various difficult moments associated with the use of bitcoins. It is easier for them to use cash or credit cards.

Dollar and bitcoin are both different currencies and should not be compared to each other as one is king of physical currency and the other is king of digital currency but it will very hard for bitcoin to replace dolllar as the user base of dollar is huge.

Currently the us dollar is the most popular currency in the world. Many countries keep their reserves in dollars. This makes America's economy stronger. No, bitcoin will never be able to compete on an equal footing with the dollar.

you're right. dollar is the most stable currency in the world. anywhere in the world, you can use dollar in purchasing things compared to any other currency. in short dollar can be consider as a worldwide currency.. i dont think bitcoin will be able to replace it. bitcoin is still new even if compared to other currencies which is in low with dollars. there still need a lot of work to do with bitcoin in order to replace any currency especially dollars.
If the Americans will give the opportunity to earn dollars on the Internet then this may significantly reduce the demand for bitcoin. In many countries, the wage level does not allow to earn enough money for living. They are looking for earnings on the Internet and the currency which will give them the opportunity to win in the competition.

People get paid  by Americans in dollars online all the time. Just look at Fiverr and other freelancing websites, most of them use USD for rate and they use Paypal to pay other people. I don't think it reduced the demand for bitcoins at all but I think it's actually the other way around. Back then, I used to do money making apps on my phone just because it's the only thing that's available or it's the only method that most of us know to earn money online. Now, there's bitcoins and the use of bitcoin have opened a lot of opportunities to all of us.
