Yeah that is the thing that bitcoin will never replace dollar. And one more thing why bitcoin can never replace bitcoin is because no one can really control bitcoin price which is no basis. Not even government too as well, most of this technology that they used to create bitcoin can be applied but not for bitcoin itself

Bitcoin can never replace bitcoin? Slow down.

Actually, every single one of us that the ability to control bitcoins but unfortunately, only few of us have the amount of money enough to make the price of bitcoin go up or down depending on how we want it. The price of bitcoin also has basis which is the supply/demand law. When the demand is high, the price will also high. When the supply is high (or everyone's selling), the price of bitcoin will go down.

The government cannot control bitcoins or even its price because the government isn't doing anything to do so. If they try to control bitcoins, they can never succeed since the only way is to purchase the whole thing. The price of bitcoin can definitely be manipulated by the government since they have enough funds.

Thanks for sharing this information this is something which we all need to be aware off as government not directly through channels and indirectly can fluctuate the price of bitcoin by creating more demand when it wants the price of increase and also can create high supply by selling it when to reduce the value based on its requirement we thinks that government cannot control bitcoin but government can change the course of game.
Governments control the fiat currency, they use central banks to issue or destroy money of thin air, they also control how the fiat can be transferred, enabling them to track where it is going to, this control allows them to take taxes and control criminal activity, and that is all lost when the bitcoin was introduced to the currency world , at first people didn’t care about it and though that it was a temporary thing but it kept developing and growing both in users and in value which made getting rid of a very hard thing, bitcoin defies all control and oppose the governments and what they stand for and they can’t do anything to stop it unless all countries unite on putting an end to it.

If talking about the bitcoin and dollar, equal to discuss a lot of things, I think the bitcoin can not replace the dollar, the dollar continues to be something significant, real and we could see as real evidence, I agree, the Government could not regulate prices bitcoin expectations they want. because of the bitcoin is something special, a lot of people involved in the bitcoin. Bitcoin and dollars are very different, but will hold together. but I'm sure bitcoin will surpass the dollar because using bitcoin is easy and can be done wherever and whenever it can also in the broader area, perhaps bitcoin dollars and living together as the same function ...

Why is it bitcoin?
It has always been and will always be an alternative currency. Someone for anything in life will not use crypto currency, but will always use Fiat. And bitcoin for those who believe in him

Bitcoin is a digital currency, as of now the only who can get this is a people who earn money using an internet or who invest using bitcoin. So, I think dollar will not replace a bitcoin. How about the poor people they don’t have an idea about bitcoin and when the time will introduce btc did you think they can earn btc. How about others didn’t learn to read and write, in this case they need is the currency of their own country.

eveything is possible. If Dollar loses their values because some reasons : " Hard to transport, Paper can't survive with time, Paper is just represent gold " . So BTC will replace the paper money is possible, available and better .
If Dollar uses value then Bitcoin will lose its value too. We all know without Fiat Currency, Bitcoin would be worthless because the value of Bitcoin is based on Fiat. Now I am sure that if the USD's value is affected then for sure Bitcoin's value is affected. There will be no replacing or overtaking both will just be affected in a bad way.

Sure when the value of USD moves, the price of bitcoin will be affected as well. Or at least the price of bitcoin when you convert it to USD. If dollar loses its value, then bitcoin might be based on a different fiat currency.. Usually the next one to USD. USD isn't the only fiat currency and USD definitely do not represent all the currencies although it seems that a lot of people use USD.

Since bitcoin is based in fiat value, when fiat (all fiats) become valueless, then bitcoin will just be bitcoin. It will not be convertible to other currencies except for cryptocurrencies. Because what else  currency are we going to use when there's no more value in fiat? Of course it will be crypto unless something better comes along the way.

I think Bitcoin can't replace any fiat currency, not just dollar. I'm not saying this because I think this wouldn't maybe be good but there are just not precondition for that and Bitcoin itself is not designed to replace fuly some traditional currencies and me and of payments. It can be some aditional choice and alternative, also very well accepted, but it,will not fuly squeeze out any fiat currency.

No , its impossible because if they let bitcoin replace dollar they have no further control over money .
They will not let it dollar replace ,Dollar will be the currency and bitcoin will stay as alternative currency.
As of now it may take more time the adoptation of bitcoins and more possibly to happen will bitcoins as World alternative Currency.
Everyone must understand that reality so they will not be mislead with their decision making, we should know the limitation of bitcoin as
we cannot beat the real money which is govern by the state. Everything in this world is controlled by the government and the moment you violate the law you have to pay the consequences. Bitcoin is a great project but I don't think it has the confidence of the people to go mainstream and replace the conventional world.

I strongly disagree. Not everything in this world is controlled by the government. There might be rules and regulations but those are just there to put a limit on our freedom. Yes, most of us are living in a democratic country but when the government said that we're free to do whatever we want, that doesn't mean we can go kill each other and don't face any consequence. The government law is there to maintain peace although sometimes it also creates conflict.

Another thing that I disagree with is "the moment that you violate the law". Uhhmm. How about no? I've said this a million times but here we are again. Tons of people are smoking weed, doing cocaine, injecting stuffs (I don't know what it's called), and none of them get to jail "right at that moment". Most of those drug users have never even caught yet by the police. No one's watching every single move that we do so there's no way that you'll get caught right at the moment the crime has happened.

The dollar is here to stay for a long time to come. Since it is government controlled, there is no reason that an independent currency would replace a currency controlled by a powerful country.

Well when a country's economy is messed up with huge debts and high inflation they use Bitcoin to salvage their situation and I know if it so happens to the United States one day they might consider an alternative currency and Bitcoin is on pole position to be that currency.

I don't think that bitcoin will be the US government's alternative currency because they are depending their economy to dollars. But when the wallstreet tycoons are going to get into bitcoin probably this will change the economic system of US. But I really do think that bitcoin will replace dollar very soon, it's their economic foundation.

That's the best solution so we should let bitcoin progress to be able to have a better option when the economy of our country get worst. In our country the economy is not that good and the value of fiat is really low compared to dollar so I'm transferring my money in bitcoin hoping the value will continue to increase.

I don't think so.
Bitcoin will not replace dollar, but in my opinion bticoin will replace gold as soon as posible Grin Grin

if bitcoin replaced gold that may be because it is already happening, but if bitcoin replace the dollar I think is difficult because of the dollar itself is an international currency that is widely used enumerated person, if for parallel and complementary it certainly can.

Lol are you drunk?  Bitcoin will never replace gold. Bitcoin may cease to exit but Gold will stay forever.  Bitcoin might beat Gold in terms of market trading but it will never replace gold.  Bitcoin will never be used in electronic while gold can.  They have different function.  So why would Bitcoin replaced gold in the same place?  And about Bitcoin replacing Dollar, it is not difficult it is impossible.
But if bitcoin to buy gold and mint of the coins, investing in gold can be profitable. You have nothing to lose because the coin is made of gold, but the cost of bitcoin could rise. To protect the coins from the electronic database of the numbers of coins. How about this?

Right. Definitely not. I think bitcoin and US dollar will just go along together. Bitcoin is just another kind of currency that is offered to the market and still it has a long way to go before more and more will accept it as a form of payment.
I agree that USD and BTC will go along together.  Bitcoin does not need to replace dollar because it has its own identity.  Aside from that I have doubt that Bitcoin can be a primary currency since its nature is decentralized and is very hard to regulate.   It would be best as alternative currency in my opinion.

yes i also agree that it is not possible that bitcoin is replace fiat so soon. i think it will take a lot of time when bitcoin will become able to replace fiat, but still it is really possible.
takes a lot of time or maybe just impossible to happened?
as the recent aconomy atmosphere, financial system situation that so far not yet ready to accept bitcoin ,
a lot of people still hadr to understand about computer stuff ,
while bitcoin itself required computer and internet.
