Although bitcoin continues to rise, but it will never make or replace the dollar, all because no country has officially legalized bitcoin so bitcoin will continue to be a commodity not currency.
For 15 years? I think it's impossible since altcoins are also doing their job to replace bitcoin. And besides the government will be the one of bitcoin's problem. That is just my other side opinion. The other one is, situation change and no permanent, that is why no one knows if what is impossible now is just for now and what awaits for tomorrow is bigger than what we expect and what we hear today.
I think it's possible but it takes at least 20 years from now, now the bitcoin price has reached $ 12300 and it seems to be going up, if many countries shift trade to bitcoin then everything gets faster.
We can expect that, the continued increase of price is brought by big demand and it cannot be done by a certain individual only.Although we do not really know but I am guessing that there are big companies who are accumulating bitcoins now.

If you are thinking bitcoin will replace dollar, you are not being realistic. There is no way the government will give way to bitcoin, they know the risk and when it's not controlled majority will not
be satisfied in using it as the price volatility is a big problem for users who just want to transact online.
I doubt this will happen that bitcoin can replace dollars because dollars are well known entire universe no one can replace it, it's a real money not like bitcoin it is only a digital currency and the government will not allow this to happen

That has a point. Well being a part opposing this type of issue ,I am not against bitcoin's future uses, but given the fact that dollar is a Fiat taht most of the transactions in the world were done using this a s medium of payment, and this is the currwncy of the united states, they may be against in bitcoin if this happened.

Knowing the capacity of the government will make you choose dollar, bitcoin is not controlled by any government and there is nothing to protectit once the government will consider it illegal, it might still be existing now but once it will become a threat, they will surely make a bad action against us.

That's possible the reason why Bitcoin can't replace dollar..Besides, local markets would go crazy if bitcoin is what we will use.imagine a commodity having a change in price from to time without significant reason except because bitcoin price moves.
and when there is no control there will be a big chaos, it's like people are running after a limited supply of food, with that scenario, the government won't allow.

I think so. its happening already what can we expect? we cant stop things to happen.

This is likely to be an event but it probably will not happen because it is just too much in this period, it is possible not possible in a long time but instantly significant.

Nope. I very doubt government will want to relinquish control...
As a sub currency it could gain mainstream use but i think there will be much blood before BTC replace the Dollar.
We know bitcoin can buy something in the 3D world now. Someone can use this “money” to buy food, clothes… but we must know, every coin has two pieces. Bitcoin has not only benefits, but also disadvantages.
It doesn't matter because bitcoin will never replace the dollar. Dollar has its own purpose and that is to be use as a money for doing daily basis transactions in our life and bitcoin is just an investment that we can use in order to make our money grow and have a very secured place for our money but for daily basis transaction, it is a fail to use bitcoin because in my country, the fee of bitcoin alone can cost up to $5-$10.
