Dollar is a fiat. Bitcoin is just a cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is for online purposes only, not for real. Dollars can use in online purposes and it also used in transacting, buying what ever you want. It takes time to trade with Bitcoin, Dollars will trade in just a second only. Bitcoin will never replace a fiat including Dollar.

Bitcoin will not replace the dollar because if the dollar is replaceable by the bitcoin then it already happen a few years ago but there is still nothing happen in the world of fiat currencies especially the dollar so i think that bitcoin will never replace dollar in our world.
Dollar is so powerful, the government has the power to stop bitcoin when it will become a threat to the government.
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency while dollar is a legal currency, there is no chance a legal one will be replace by a non regulated currency.

I think it is not difficult because the value and the importance of the bitcoin are high and the people are investing in the bitcoin now for the long time. It is very possible that in the future people will start using the bitcoin as the side income and the future of the bitcoin and the crypto currency will increase more and more. I hope this will give the bitcoin business go more wide till the end of the year.

it seems unlikely that the bitcoin is so limited and it makes it difficult to get the bitcoin that will cause the bitcoin price to be so expensive, it makes the poor will have trouble buying bitcoins.

Dollar still rule the world. Everything measure by dollar even gold still measure by dollar. And many other currency still measure base on dollar. For now or a few years a head i think dollar still many people using as their main currency. So its impossible to replace it with bitcoin. But dunno in 20 or 30 years a head coz we couldn't stop tech to spread and many people would like electronic money than cash to carry im the future

I don't think so dude, dollar currency is representing the country of U.S.A. to the whole world, while bitcoin represents no one. That's my point of view dude.

maybe bitcoin can be more popular than bitcoin later, but it can replace dollar or other paper currency.
gold can replace our paper money, because gold and other precious stones its pure treasure, and we use far far years ago and for future.

It's a very short time frame for BitCoin to get the dollar's place in 15 years. Estimates such as 50 years or 100 years are more reasonable. dollar is the currency of one country. but bitcoin is not yet a legal currency. it seems a little difficult to realize what you are talking about.
He is just too optimistic with the future of bitcoin but for me I believe bitcoin has no power to replace Dollar.
That is in the news but can we analyze how realistic it is, Dollar is just so big and popular, and it's centralized unlike bitcoin.
Dollar is very powerful and it is already tested by a lot of years and it is the best thing that will suit for the needs of people in transacting payments on a daily basis. Bitcoin will never have a chance to replace the dollar unless the government and the fiat currencies will collapse on their own then that is when the people will use cryptocurrencies like bitcoin as a mode of payment in all things.

You realize BTC is not even relevant to the world financial system right? It has become a rare commodity to be HODLed for dear life, and that’s about it. You can not readily transact in BTC and you’ll never be able to (because their are already significantly better options, even in crypto).

The dollar will not be replaced by Bitcoin or any other currency. Bitcoin also will not replace any currency in the world. Bitcoin and Dollar are two very important currencies and are used by many countries. If the dollar and Bitcoin are replaced, there will be a massive economic shift around the world. If you think the dollar can be replaced, then how the fate of those who transact using cash in traditional markets. While cryptocurrency like Bitcoin is a digital currency with no physical form. But indeed, Bitcoin will become more popular and more usefull around the world.

It can happen but not in a matter of 15 years. Once bitcoin reaches ubiquity, security and accessibility would be fully developed as well. Back then, no one ever thought we would end up using paper currency instead of stones, silver and gold. So I guess, it could really happen over time but 15 years is too short; I'm 50 years would be a good number.
- 50 years is still impossible, even 100 years later, I believe that bitcoin will not be able to replace the dollar, we should see the common goal of all investors and traders, they invest in bitcoin for the purpose of earning dollars, their ultimate goal is to earn as much dollars as possible, they are not interested in bitcoin or anything else. Bitcoin is just a virtual currency, it is not accepted by the government and people still do not believe it, it can not be compared with the dollar, a currency that the most popular worldwide, accepted everywhere and stands behind the currency that is a country that has developed strongly and has a great influence on the economy. The US government will not let a virtual currency replace their money, the dollar is their symbol and their pride, it will not be replaced by anything else.

Bitcoin will not be able to replace the US dollar in the coming years. But some large investors already now invest some of their money in the crypto currency.
No I don't think that Bitcoin will replace the dollar soon. I believe that bitcoin is still in its initial stage, there is a long journey which has to be completed by bitcoins. Dollar is very popular globally and many countries are using it for trade. For the time being bitcoin will be limited to online shopping, gambling and for other personal use. It will take many years to replace the dollars.

Personally, I doubt that any digital valuta would, or could, replace the mighty US Dollar - since the implementation of the Bretton Woods system after WW2, the US Dollar has gained more and more 'trust', which led the US Dollar as the most used currency for multinational trade, which it also is today. That's my reasoning on why Bitcoin won't replace the US Dollar in a near future.

According to me there is very big no, as digital money and paper currency are not comparable because they both have unique place and plays a very important role in the world of finance, as I am not for the 100% because I am not the time traveller who can see the future but paper money is equally important in the market and even there are millions of people who even doesn't have access to Internet, so what would happen to them in the future, as of now one btc is worth equal to $11k but it's continuously increasing valuation doesn't mean that it would replace dollar or any other paper money.
