I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potentialI know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as wellBut what do you think about it after 100 years ?. So let's say 100 years from now BTC is the main currency of the world. Now I am 15, and a lot of other early investors are also pretty young.

I think Yes, bitcoin is continue to give away within 100 years because no one can destroy bitcoin It does not matter if it is removed by a bitcoin owner so this is not permanent but i will bilieve it.

Yes of course, Bitcoin will survive after 100 years. As you observe in the society, Bitcoin became legal cryptocurrency in many countries, including Philippines. And im predicting that after 100 years, Bitcoin will now used in many countries and they will using it as one of the mode of payments in any stores, shops, establishments and services. Bitcoin is having a high value of money that is continuing to increase and increase. I will say that it will survive after 100 years. But no one can predict what is the Bitcoin's future. We have no rights to say and predict what Bitcoin's future.

Yes , even bitcoin can be main currency in the future and value will be spiked up when more people adopt it ....

100 days is too far to foresee. When it comes to technology, everything is replace just an instant so I believe that bitcoin might still exist but it's not the same as we see it as of today.

100 years??? I will rather we live one day at a time. if fiat money could survived more than 100years I don't see anything stopping Bitcoin from making it beyond 100years. so long as the initiators keep working to perfect the flaws noticed along the way.

experts says that bitcoin will survive in the next century. i am agree with them.as bitcoin is getting more popular,it becoming more stable.no one can destroy it as it is nor centralised and it is a peer to peer network.so don't worry.

I never thought bitcoin would be that long. maybe there will be more powerful technology that replaces blockchain.
we will never know what happen in future. technology is growing rapidly for sure.

Assuming that it the internet will never shut down, it will not become centralized and there will be no world wars, then bitcoin can last more than 100 years.

Bitcoin will survive but I think 100 years is a long time frame lets focus first for at least 20 years and lets see what will happen. I know its very possible for bitcoin to come that far though since technology now is really what we use in our daily lives.

In my own opinion,I'm not sure if bitcoin will survive in 100 years because it is a very long time.In the next few years we are not sure if bitcoin will exist because no one know if how long the bitcoin.So I wish that bitcoin will continually exist or survive for the next few years before to the 100 years.  

I think it will, even if it will have no practical use, it will be a simbol of change, the simbol of a new world. I think crypto will radically change the way we live and Bitcoin has the merit for it. It's a simbol that will never die.

In my own opinion bitcoin can survive after one hundred years or more than that.
The company and management of bitcoin shows a excellent quality of service which all their hard work, perseverance, dedication and passion are paid off in all achievements and recognition achieve.

I agree on this statement a lot because there is no such permanent thing. Just think about gold. For a very very long time, people's eyes are all on it because of it value then suddenly, just few years ago, cryptocurrency emerge and finally, bitcoin is being able to take the crown for it. In the same way, 100 years is a very long time to predict if btc will still b surviving on that time.

I doubt it will last long at a century. I'm on 50 - 60 years on this one and I'm sure it would be at that range only. Every generation has a tendency for unsatisfaction and as technology upgrades new way of profits and investments is changing with it. Technology and Blockchain is simultaneously co-adaptive to each other. It might be a new one, it will come with a more stable, more secured and less transaction fees than butcoin. But as of today no Alts has the power to even equal bitcoin on its place thats for sure.

Maybe I'm an egoist, but I will not survive after 100 years, so I don't really care lol.
