I do think that Bitcoin, 100 years from now, is the universal and main currency of the world, as it was implied onto technology and machines. Due to the growth of the Bitcoin Community, many would support and maintain/speculate it. Yet, mankind has lesser chance to survive that last long. We are already on the midst and a decimal point on starting a war. And worst, is the doomsday made by man's made AI.
In my own opinion, Yes it will because there are so many people that is interested today on earning bitcoins because of its very high value on the market and with that reason we are assured that bitcoins live very long.
From my own perspective Bitcoin can survive 100 years from now, seeing from the look of things about Bitcoin and the rate is it going we can be assured a bit about its existence in the nearest year.
i really don't think our current banking and monetary system can survive after a century. the world changes, eveything changes. maybe the name cannot be "bitcoin" but it would definitely a crypto currency or currencies would dominate the trade.
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

A century might be a long period of time for us but it's just a blink of an eye in our history. Many things will happen in that "blink of an eye" and I almost sure that bitcoin is still in demand in that era. If bitcoin would won againts the governments that have banned it, bitcoin will be a part of the futuristic world that many of us can see 100 years from now.

The way and path it is going right now would mean it will survive for many years, however I dont think Bitcoin will be the number one coin in the future, look at the stupidity in price and people wanting more money and power, miners, Wall Street, etc.
There are much better coins out there which are way faster than bitcoin and have much less transaction fees, bitcoin has opened doors for these amazing projects however.

We may not all be here anymore after 100 years and that could be a fact but bitcoin will sustain most probably.

It has as much chance as any other currency, lets face it, maybe it would be a great currency to trade oil and no one Countries Currency to monopoly. Although the Greenback Countries may not be keen on that, Some OPEC countries may very well think its a better option for them.I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

Bitcoin is a money & no one can control it...& I think it will never die & survive till the end of the word...but my lifetime is short...so in prediction bitcoin will suvive after 100years

There is a large possibility that the answer for your question will be yes especially right now that the price of bitcoin was really attractive to gather many people into engaging with it and by this, bitcoin will become more popular and that will result to the rise of supporters and as it continuously happens, it will be assured that bitcoin will be still popular until the next generations who will continue to use bitcoin if and only if the cryptocurrencies will be maintained by the next generation of individuals. Yes it will, The value of bitcoins today is continuously increasing and with that cause there are so many investors that are keep coming to invest in the market because they are predicting that the value will multiply in the future.
I personally dont think that it will be happening in the next 50 or 100 years because the 100 year period is not a short time and it is still far in my mind.But the wourld is changing fast in everyday with the help of technology.If people find any better and powerfull technology from Bitcoin then i think it will be possible.
I think that bitkoyn will exist after us. After a hundred years, it must completely change and I hope for the better. Changes bitcoin. first of all, should concern its technological side. Also, the set of its functions and conveniences in use will change. By that time, calculations in the crypto currency should become prevailing throughout the world and should become easily accessible and lightning-fast in time.
I think bitcoin will not last more than 100 years. The price of bitcooin is still unstable and many countries have banned it from circulation. So it is hard for bitcoin to last long. Not only that, the world will have other better, more perfect competition with bitcoin.

yes I think bitcoin will still survive after 100 years but I think its value will be high that time but it is already stable. I am imagining a world that bitcoin is being used in our every day transactiins, buying foids, gadgets ang etc
hard to believe but, i will try to believe bitcoin can survive after 100 years, year by year, technology is more modern but i believe no one cant stop bitcoin, bitcoin will still alive and survive with a good new technology in future.bitcoin price is fluctuate, not controlled by someone or goverment, bitcoin controlled by buy and sell from the holders.

Of course goven the fact that it can easily be used by the people like what is happening nowadays, but we should acxept the fact that this is not the same as what it is today we should not remain in the mindeset that will stay, it will need innovations all of us need it.

I think after 100 years bitcoin will likely to become more strong and it will had a more progressive. In a couple of days 2017 will end so I think by the time enters 2018 there are lot of opportunities for bitcoin. The number of people will likey to continuously grow and the person who are simple will likely to become rich in the next year.
Yes , the same as my thought. Bitcoin is a easy way for everybody to invest, so nowadays there have more and more people choose it like a profitable work. If you are a person who invest BTC, you must be known what benefits it brings to you. I really believe that BTC will be survived forever, especially in the coming year there will have many chances for investing it which make every of us always feel interested in.
