I really do hope that this someday will be true but I can't see it happening with Bitcoin. I think we'll be seeing another cryptocurrency achieving this.

I never thought that the presence of digital currency would replace paper money, both can run and complement each other, I'm sure until whenever paper money will not disappear because the state regulations guarantee paper currency.

Nope, because paper money create for us to buy what we wanted wherever we wanted to use it. Digital currencies are hard to use because not all stores, market, online shopping and local companies are accepting bitcoin/digital currencies for payment. Still a lot of people are not yet accept bitcoin because they think that bitcoin and other digital currencies will end..

I personally don't think at all that digital currency will replace the paper money, of course.. all governments of each countries are still many considering it if this happens and in my opinion this will not be happened, and the digital currency will survive as an alternative currency only.. that will not be able to replace the paper money I guess.

Noo digital currency will never ever replace the paper money how those people who don't know how to use digital currency and therefor they don't even think to use it, i asked some people if they have knowledge about this currency and they always saying to me back is what is bitcoin and what is all about this.
You can't say something like that , as technology develop so quick , faster than the wind ,
Even though the possibility for now digital currency to replace paper money is o small ,
I will glad to welcome the digital era anytime , it's so helpful  make things done easier ,
Paper money in the future should be considered as an outdated one.

Nope! Fiat will never be replaced with digital assets. Digital currency will only serves as a method of payment which will make transactions faster as possible as it can. Both will exist in future but will never ever be changed fiat to digital currency.

no, in my opinion there will be no one replacing each other. both will continue to exist and support each other. bitcoin is good for transactions that are blocked by distance, for example interstate transactions, this complements the fiat deficiency. if there is no internet network, of course bitcoin can not be used, therefore fiat is required. It is not like that?

It is very difficult for digital currency to take over paper currency and the reason is that whole world is using paper currency and if you want to replace it there are some procedures and cost of this is also very very high . Digital currency can only be used if internet is available so no possibility and scope for such thinking.

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink

This might be possible, but not in the near future. We need advanced technology to allow cryptocurrency to take over our daily transactions. There are still some establishments who don't entertain cryptocurrency on their daily transactions.

Personally I totally believe that digital currency will rule the markets in the future, it might take some years to implement but it will surely overtake the paper money for sure. I feel that's actually good for better tomorrow.

I sincerely hope that the answer to this question is no. I don't trust big banks and institutions behind the cashless means of payment. As the part of their plans, check out the following story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gwcQjDhZtI One might consider this conspiracy theory but think about it for a second - it's a perfect way to control 99,999% of the people on this planet.

I think it can not. bitcoin is a suitable currency for the future. but, I do not think bitcoins can be used or replace fiat in terms of spontaneous payments, not to mention when there are internet connection issues.
In terms of function, Bitcoin is considered only able to fulfill part of the function of currency that is as a means of payment.

bitcoin is present to supplement the existing shortcomings of paper money, but can not replace its position

Quite impossible in my opinion. Paper money, diat ,regular currency or whatever people are calling it, is impossible to be obsoleted by cryptocurrency or digital currency for the reason that it is been used through decades by different countries until now which is unlike cryptos that are still young and are not yet legal to most of the countries. And still, regular currency have played a huge role in the lives of all people. The only thing that I am expecting is that cryptocurrency will be more often used in the future than fiat but regular currency will still be used, ofcourse.

Countries are planning to go cashless already and acceptability of digital currency is increasing rapidly, so, someday (not soon) digital currency will replace paper money. https://www.bitcoinmarketinsider.com/?s=cashless

I dont think so that bitcoin will replace the paper money. Bitcoin is for people who knows about bitcoin. Those people in rural areas are the one who cant connect with bitcoin because they dont know how they operate computers and bitcoin so paper money is still needed for everyone of us.

I say yes too. Because paper money is not used in the banks. My thought.  After a few years It will gradually diminish.
