In my personal opinion it's just a matter of time , digital currencies would surely replace the fiat.
The reason I would like to give is that :- we all have witnessed the change in this decade , we all have seen the influence of technology on this society.
People now prefer online more . Almost every company has an online site , people buy goods online and some even provide services online.
People are going into technology so much that they surely would start using crypto currencies like BTC , but yes obviously their have stopped be some changes, and the countries also have to make themselves developed, as poeple should atleast have basic knowledge about using smartphone to operate their wallets,
This may take 1 or maybe 2 decades .

Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
Physical money is dirty, why use that if you can stay clean with BTC?

Noo digital currency will never ever replace the paper money how those people who don't know how to use digital currency and therefor they don't even think to use it, i asked some people if they have knowledge about this currency and they always saying to me back is what is bitcoin and what is all about this.
You can't say something like that , as technology develop so quick , faster than the wind ,
Even though the possibility for now digital currency to replace paper money is o small ,
I will glad to welcome the digital era anytime , it's so helpful  make things done easier ,
Paper money in the future should be considered as an outdated one.
Well in my opinion there is a possibility that bitcoin can change paper money because now in this modern technology time everything is possible a lot of latest inventions we can see in our daily life so I think bitcoin can also replace paper money and I’m sure bitcoin will provide all those requirement for governments where it can make it possible.

New technologies are invading the world and soon there will be no more use of paper neither in trading nor in ordinary and daily work.
Many people are using credit cards to make payments. The only problem is that there still people that do not have access to the Internet otherwise, we can say goodbye to paper money.

Cryptocurrencies are the next round of evolution in a pattern of monetary assets. As well as earlier, bone, precious money, rare spices were replaced with money from noble metal which, in turn, was replaced by coins from normal metal and banknotes from paper. Everything develops and changes in the course of the development. Each subsequent invention of new monetary assets eliminates defects of previous. Already at the moment more than 30% of payments in the developed countries happen in non-cash form. Sweden is going to transfer completely to non-cash payment by 2025. Therefore disappearance of paper money is inevitable and it is caused by their shortcomings and advantage of digital assets

I am sure that the paper and digital currency will soon exist in parallel. Whether there will be a complete replacement - it is difficult to say, for this purpose the whole society, every person should be able to handle machinery and the Internet and understand the blocking system itself. And this is quite problematic. Perhaps, when generations are completely replaced by information-literate, the replacement of paper currency will be complete. Maybe.

Smiley In my own opinion, digital currency will not replace paper money in the next ten or twenty years specifically in the developing countries like Africa and the like. Why? because there are still more places without internet or cellular connection which as we all know a requirement in bitcoin transactions.

No. Maybe it will be used for online transactions or any other big time tradings but as a paper money i don't think so. Many poor countries can't afford internet connections. I think they might not get the purpose of bitcoin due to lack of information.

In my opinion since our society is becoming a spinning world of technology, digital currency will be acknowledge by a lot of people and will serve as a primary tool for transactions. It will spread nationwide that it will be greater that paper money but then, I think that paper money will still remain for not a lot of people has access to technology.

It is really difficult to say that digital money is going to replace paper money in the future, there are some common point regarding this issue, Firstly, Digital currency requires either internet connection or electricity so that people always depend on these two points if they want to use digital money. on the other hand, paper money doesn't need any special features in terms of using in their daily life. So that for me, the Digital currency has some barrier to use randomly. that is why Paper money will not be replaced by the digital money in the future.

I think it can and is very possible, now almost every country is making transactions easier, safer and simpler, and if using cash or paper money is certainly difficult and the best solution is with digital currency.

I think it will never happen, Bitcoin cannot replace paper currency because Bitcoin is made only for online currency. in my country, Bitcoin is already banned.

I do not think so. the reason is simple, why do we still need fiat because transactions using bitcoin are highly dependent on the internet. then what if when making payment there is no internet connection?

Cash has been used for decades, giving up is not easy, because the habit of using paper money for a long time.
However, I can see some limitations of paper money: there is annual inflation, and when a country can not control the printing of money, then we can see a lot of zero on a money note.
Typical examples are Zimbabwe and Viet Nam

Digital money will be more acceptable but I don't think this will replace the real paper money. This will be used both, you have the alternatives in paying using digital money, cards or cash. Digital money is good especially for the fast growing and industrialized countries but still there are countries who are slow internet connections, there are still people who are not literate in using technologies. Some are still close minded to learn though most of the generation now are able to use this digital money. I am open for a change, I agree of having the digital money and I'm willing to embrace this change but for me paper money is still important because it is an easy way to transact. No hassle and worries about internet connection, absence of technology, low battery and brownouts. Because in my country we used to experience brownout due to the lack of power supply.
Yeah, but we are heading for a world without cash, maybe now we have not adapted to digital money yet, because we are used to using paper money. But when it is widely available and widely used in payment, it is another thing
I would like to use digital money to replace paper money in the near future

In my opinion, in just 10 years, digital money will replace paper money. I believe that 10 years because I believe that time is enough for governments to receive and have the legal framework to manage cryto currency

No, I can't even imagine that cash will be no longer used. Cash, regular currency, fiat, or whatever you want to call it has a huge role played in the past decades up until now. Even if cryptocurrency or digiyal currency be more popular jn the future, I think cash will still be used bynpeople since it is somewhat more secured because it is supported by the government.
