Perhaps, it was an individual decision OP but I don't think we have to wait for the moment that we can no longer gamble before deciding to stop.
I believe that oldies are into gambling just for fun so it was not hard for them to stop but for young people that can be a big challenge especially those who are already addicted.

As a casual gambler, I don't think it makes sense to gamble until 70 years old. We are old enough for that age and I don't think it was entertaining anymore.
What do you think will entertain you when you're old? most of them quit to drink alcohol, but some of them are still having sex or smoking, even though those two activities seems not a good thing, but it's what it's. Since gambling didn't harm your body, there's a chance some people will still gamble when they're old.

Old people have a lot free time that they don't know what they should spend for what.

Actually I have seen this kind of topics before. I also reply the same thing on those. The thing is a gambler don't need to retired if he can afford for playing gambling. No matter what is age. But I also think that in the older is the person will can't afford that much he afford before. So the actual is if he is capable and afford then he can gambling beyond on his limits.

I never saw someone who retired from playing they only stopped when they died, that's the reality of people who are addicted to gambling and I remember those who were playing back then lightly are now hooked up and can't get away from this habit. The games and variety of choices are the reasons for them to stay despite their age and they have something like a mission which they want to prove to others that they can win no matter what happens in the future. Because of the variety of games that they can even bet low amounts, they cannot seem to find other productive hobbies that will improve their lives and daily activities.

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.

In my opinion there is absolutely no age limit on gambling, meaning that regardless of your age you are free to gamble as long as you have the money to bet, and the other thing is that as long as you really don't get into a lot of trouble as a result of your gambling activities then obviously it's up to you if you really want to continue gambling until death separates you from gambling. After all, gambling is just a place to have fun when you have boring free time, there are some people who choose to fill their time with gambling and some choose to fill their free time for other things, but if this gambling activity has a bad impact on you, or means that after you get to know gambling you more often experience a lot of financial problems then obviously it's time for you to stay away from gambling because in my opinion it is no longer about fun but rather leads to a lot of pressure, especially if you are already dependent on gambling in the sense that you absolutely cannot spend the slightest time not gambling.

It is young people that like to chase money while the old people are chasing heaven. Old people have seen many things in life and wiser enough to handle the situation better than young people. Gambling addiction are linked to adults that are young and not old people. The way a gambler that is old will handle gambler will be better than how young people will handle it.

There's a popular saying which says "experience is the best teacher" ahd that's why I absolutely agree to the fact that older people who has been involved in gambling for a very long time in their life are the ones who does retire in gambling than the younger adults. Older gamblers have seen it all when it comes to gambling and they know the joy the comes with massive winnings as well as the pains that comes with great loss and that's why they're always emotionally stronger when it comes to gambling than the younger people.

Gamblers do retire from gambling and in most cases, it's the older gamblers who has spent many years in their gambling engagements.

It is not bad to continue gambling until you die or until you are unable to have your brain functioning properly because of old age. An old man that still have fun while gambling should continue to have the fun if he is not wasting money on it, so far it is just little amount of money and having fun with it.
Sometime gambling at old age could be a lot detrimental as compared to how It will be with a young person especially if such an old person have some health conditions but I'd the person isn't down with any condition and is mainly doing it for fun, it could be considered okay for such a person but outside that is not really healthy.

One of the effects it's definitely going to have on Old people especially those who are challenged health wise and are not gambling for fun or entertainment they may go down with worse health conditions when they finally lose their funds to gambling, they may aswell suffer anxiety or even get depressed basically it's just not healthy for leme say broke old people but for those who can afford it, they can get entertained from it and it will be considered okay.
I don't think that an old man of 70yrs will be gambling for profit, when he did that during his early days, he must have been used to gambling and sees it as a means of having fun and that is why he is still gambling, to keep his body and soul together, since he is limited to having fun.

Gambling is good at old age, as long as you are still with your senses. This is because gambling with help you exercise you brain and thinking a d remembering your old time days when you use to gamble. You should take note that gambling can also make someone live longer due to the fun in it, as long as you are not stressing yourself with it.

One day I saw an old man of seventy [70] years old in gambling center were we bet for soccer predictions gambling bet, and I interviewed the old man that his age that why is it gambling up this age, and many people who don't know me was like wondering why I interviewed the man and some said why I mine questioning the man that gambling is a game of personal interest.so what I to ask a gambler is that what age should someone who is a gambler supposed to reach before the person retire in gambling or is it advisable for someone to continue to gamble until death separate us with gambling.

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.
At an old age gambling is more just like a pastime or hobby to them compared to the vast majority of gamblers in their early age where they consider gambling as a method to get rich by getting lucky quickly. Or just a source of thrill. Honestly, it doesn't matter at some point as long as you're having fun in the process and you don't damage your livelihood, even if you are young or old it's fine to gamble for a long time. Making profits in a sense is just the visible goal for the most part. At least that's what I say to myself to avoid falling addicted to it.
Am not sure if there are even time that truly gambling become a past time mate because from the very time it was invented people are  doing it to win over others so that is not a past time specially when it was having a Bet against each other so why do you say it is about pasting time mate .

And about the topic , retiring is not a gamblers  thing as My Uncle brings His gambling activities till the last breath , even before he gives his last days He even asked me to bring Him to casino just to have last fun.

Gambling addiction are linked to adults that are young and not old people. The way a gambler that is old will handle gambler will be better than how young people will handle it.

Young individuals also chase heaven, it's the younger generation that are chasing heaven more than the old generations. We have more young individual and they're dominating everywhere both gambling and other things. Gambling addiction happens to both the old and the young and doesn't affect only one type of age group. There are individuals that are old yet they can't handle gambling addiction problems as some young individuals will, if you're not enlighten you can't handle addiction.

The young individuals is getting peer pressure into gambling to get money to meet up to his peer group but the older individuals are gambling so they can have money to survive as they didn't hustle well when their mates were hustling or they put their life savings into a wrong investment and now they're broke. If both are gambling for entertainment then that is fine since they won't get addicted but enjoy the game.

This is likely when the old man was young and not when he is old. He would have know the effect of gambling. If he was able to survives it when he was young, he will be able to deal with gambling when he is old.

I will agree to this like I have in my previous post or posts. Old people are even wiser and have more experience than young people. They see it as entertainment and they are having fun.

Each person's choice to gamble in retirement depends on their own preferences, their funds, and the way they like to gamble. Maybe the person's age isn't the most important thing. People who bet ought to think about how much they spend, their health, and whether they like games or not.

People who responsibly play video games within their means and don't let it affect other parts of their lives might not be able to tell when to stop. Look at your situation and think about giving up games if it's making you stressed, losing money, or causing other issues.

Bet wisely when and how you bet if gaming gets in the way of your healthy, balanced life. There are also professionals who can help you make these choices.

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.
This will depend on the contentment of the gambler as we can see, even old people still into gambling and some consider this as their kill time since they don't have anything to do and most of them prefer to gamble more. Personally, I can't tell when I will stop to gamble since I'm just an occasional gambler and didn't have much expectation in gambling that's why I can stop gambling anytime, this is not a big deal for me.
Just like we say gambling is for fun same things for this old man, maybe he just tired of doing nothin and he just craves that kind of rush to his his blood when he was abit hunger. Gambling is always fun when you actual don't have mind in doing it and this is part where plenty gamblers fall victim because the y don't know what they are doing. Even the old men do enjoy gambling because for some reason and aslo this saying old habits never die and also the reason when he head the money.

let us do accept the fact that there are indeed old gamblers who are using this activity as their past time. it is one of the easy activities that they can do to have an active mind. now, it depends on them how they will use it to their advantage. should not go beyond their limits, so they won't have a headache in their later stage of their lives.

I was curious with the reason why you end up asking that question. Gambling has no boundaries. As long as the gambler is capable of doing gambling, they can do whatever they want in their life regardless of their age. There's no big deal if we see a 70 or 80-year-old person still gambling as long as they know what they're doing and use their own money. What are we supposed to expect from a 70-year-old? Just lying in their bed the whole day? If they can still do those activities they already used to do for a long, then just let them be like that.

You won't understand it from the gambler's perspective, especially for a person who hugs gambling as one of their usual activity regularly.
It should be underlined that there is an age limit for gamblers who cannot gamble,
namely minors and this is also in accordance with the rules and ToS of each gambling platform.

But for the maximum age limit gamblers never existed, the age of 70, 80 and so on can do gambling as they like.
Because some people are quite attached to gambling until the end of their lives because gambling is used as their entertainment to enjoy life.

Everyone does have a different point of view, and it will give a variety of responses about the fun of gambling.

Yes, older people definitely have their own thoughts about gambling in their old age. Of course the age limit for gambling is 18+ and there are no restrictions for people over 60 or 70 years old to gamble. It is his own choice and we should not interfere in his decision

But honestly, I would probably ask the same thing if I met someone who was too old but still gambling. Wouldn't it be better for them to spend time with their children and grandchildren at home? Enjoy his last years with his family and those closest to him. However, it is also possible that the elderly person does not have children or perhaps their children have abandoned them so they choose to gamble as entertainment.

Whatever his reason for gambling actually doesn't matter, because he used his own money and maybe that's how he enjoyed his life in his last years on earth.

It’s only advisable to gamble as long as you can manage your expenses and losses when gambling, but if you are getting highly emotional whenever you’re in losses, we’ll that’s a sign to stop yourself from gambling anymore. Old aged people are at risk of heart attack, so most likely if you continue to engage in gambling and suffer from consistent losing, you might end up getting heart attack and that’s the worst thing to happen to an old gambler.

However, if you insist doing it for an entertainment, that’s fine if you are still able to control your urge. But if you think you can’t, then don’t bother to gamble at your old age, but just enjoy your life and spend quality time with your wife, kids and grandkids.
And stress. I am not old I really felt the stress toll of gambling at playing casino games a week ago. I mean, I didn't think that I could get angry like that because I felt like I was being robbed without any RTP coming.
I played Keno and lost a lot of my capital and I was so angry that I almost wanted to destroy my keyboard. Thankfully, after a long wait, it was given back to me although it was not enough to cover everything. It's true, that if we cannot manage our expenses anymore, we must stop. Because there's a chance that those expenses will keep on growing as we chase the losses which I am also guilty of and I think many gamblers do a lot.
For an old man to be doing this will not be good for his health. I suggest keeping the bets on either sports gambling or mild live casino games only because somehow on those games we could control it, unlike the nonstop games of slots and original games.
Stress means more health problems like constipation, headaches, or maybe even worse, it will be not good for an old man, especially those with a history of health problems that might be triggered by gambling irresponsibly.
