One day I saw an old man of seventy [70] years old in gambling center were we bet for soccer predictions gambling bet, and I interviewed the old man that his age that why is it gambling up this age, and many people who don't know me was like wondering why I interviewed the man and some said why I mine questioning the man that gambling is a game of personal interest.so what I to ask a gambler is that what age should someone who is a gambler supposed to reach before the person retire in gambling or is it advisable for someone to continue to gamble until death separate us with gambling.

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.

Once you feel tired and get a realization that your life is not all about gambling that's the sign that you take a break for a while even though you are winning most of the time still you will experience getting tired, getting exhausted the things so why not take time to enjoy those earnings of course so you can have back the energy you've given that you made every time you play in a gambling casino. but that thinking is all about the person if you think gambling is part of your routine already and getting happy on it and satisfied with your game there's nothing wrong with stopping, as long as you know what you are doing.

I don't think there is a limit of ages for gambling. As long as you have a sense of what you are doing and what gambling is. It depends on the individual interest in gambling I think.

On the other hand, since gambling is something addictive, I don't think addicted gamblers can maintain these types of Limitations if there is any.

Old gamblers probably have been gambling for ages and they have nothing to do with their money that's probably why they are gambling. Maybe they can get a jackpot or something and then give it to his family or something. If you go to a land-based casino, you would pretty much see these types of people who are old and playing on slot machines.

That would be dependent on the person entirely if they want to continue gambling or not. I just hope they are not addicts that they will continue to get money just to gamble or something.

There is an age before you can start to gamble, but there is no age when you should stop, as long as your mind is clear and you are capable of betting, you can retire as young as you want and as old as you can.

Gambling is a good recreation for old people they keep the mind clear and motivated the excitement they derive from gambling can help boost your neurons, as long as you can walk you know what you're betting you can play on physical casinos, and as long as you can see and you can type you can play online.
When you can still overcome obstacles of old age you are free to bet and it's your right to bet.

Have you ever wondered how this old man is different from you except for being much older than you?  Or do you think that when a person reaches old age he becomes uninterested in those activities that he was interested in when he was young? Of course, older people have their own interests, which are limited by physical abilities, but in gambling can play people of absolutely any age and even the disabled, because to press a couple of buttons do not need to have any special skills.
Let me ask you this question, what is the reason why people play gamble, if people gambles because of money what will a man of 70 years old use money for, because I know quite well that people of 70 years old their brain is not as function as the person of young age, for my own understanding I think its proper for we to understand gambling properly and I think its good for we to have a specific time frame for we to retire in gambling, what's retirement all about, I think its all about relaxation to go and enjoy the one you have acquired for your life time

Yes, it's true that gambling is a game for personal gain. You don't need to know too much about it and ask questions, after all, whether to retire from gambling depends on each gambler and there are also those who die in a gambling place or while gambling. It's back to your own decision when. to stop gambling and retire from gambling, because not everyone wants to gamble forever.

I don't know if I've ever seen a thread like this or not, but it seems familiar, if I'm not mistaken, there is a thread entitled about retiring at the ideal age, but if you ask about that, I think it all depends on how we enjoy life, personally I would probably retire from gambling if you already have a grandchild because for me enjoying old age with a grandchild would be better than spending time gambling.

Human nature in general is not easily satisfied with what he has achieved, he will continue to search until he feels satisfied. And that's what gamblers usually feel, usually they will continue playing until they have enough. But each person's "enough" is different, some people feel enough to gamble when they are 40, 50, 60 years old or more, when they have responsibilities that must be fulfilled or they feel bored with their gambling, or for other reasons. So when you ask when is the right time for gamblers to retire, perhaps the answer for each gambler is different, depending on their condition.
Personally, I don't think there's an age frame for a gambler to reach before he can quit gambling. To some people they become too aged and weak to engage in certain things like gambling and other vices as early as in their late 50s while to some, they their body and mind are still very active even in their late 70s and that's I think that people's time of quitting engagements like gambling shouldn't be generalized.

So in essence, what I'm trying to say is that when an individual starts noticing the signs that comes with old age like weakling of the bones, anxiety of the mind and uncertain unrest of the soul it should be the best time to quit gambling in other not to allow the consequences of gambling to affect his old age and health.

* Gambling is not an means of job employment to the gamblers rather it is an alternate source one can make profit out of stakes supposing to be on a process of playing for fun. It is a personal insightment to decide what you chases while gambling if it either fun or making profits.

* Gambling has an age restriction system in the sense that an underaged persons are not permitted to play unless one is grown an adults age. And which, the gambler has the right to decide when to start and when to stop gambling.

There is no restriction to an elderly gambler to stop gambling nomatter the age rather, it is questionable to an outsider to wondering what a specific aged elderly one would still be doing in the gambling table.
It could be that gambling as a game could be a one activities in life that gives him joy or eases his anxieties or even an enjoyable activity that activates his mental calculative logical mindsets.

The fact is that no one employs a gambler in gambling and no one has the right to retire a gambler from gambling unless the said adult is found a mental misbehaviour that he could be out of his minds because there could be an extend of ages the elders looses responsibilities of their selves returning their mental faculties to that of the kids again. So at such a time, they only requires guidance to stay away from gambling and not as that of retirees but if yeah they are still in control of their thoughts of course they can stay gambling as much as wished.

I have hardly seen any person who is passionate about something or a hobby, retire at an old age simply because they want to. If they did, it could be because of some issues that may be as a result of health hazards and immobility.
It's a hobby and when someone gets old, it's hardly to retire on it with something that you love to do. I still see people taking lanes on the lottery outlet just to bet with that.

Else, a true gambler gambles despite the age because they love it until death do them part.
Yeah, if that old man is really in loved with betting. Regardless of their age, they're going to bet no matter what happens to their lives and until how old their lives will be taken back.

You didn't even mind to finish the story? That left us hanging. What did he answer to your question? I bet he is the right person to ask that.
I hope you can edit your opening post some time to complete it.
Anyway, there's already a thread made about questioning when the right age for retirement in gambling is. I just don't want to dig it but I bet it is deep in the gaming discussion.
I will answer here the same thing that I answered there. I don't think there's such a thing as retirement for gamblers especially those who like sports betting. It adds a lot of spice to the sports industry because it fuels the cheering factor for the team you are betting for or the fighter you made a bet with. I don't think old people should be stopped from doing this because who knows if that is the only entertainment they could get after their retirement from their jobs.
Gambling is fun as long as we keep being responsible about it. We don't really need to make a huge bet to add entertainment for the sports that we are watching $5 - $10 will definitely make you cheer your lungs out for the team you are rooting for. It's better not getting used to large portions to keep the excitement part.

Exactly! And it's not like gambling requires some special health conditions, people stand or sit around some table, can chat, and have fun playing some of their favorite games, if we talk about ground casinos. When it comes to online casinos, well we can be free to play however we want it, nobody can see us. Smiley

I don't plan to retire... I guess the worst scenario would be to run out of money for gambling, in that case, retirement is imminent! But I sincerely hope it won't come to that.

There is no definite age for a gambler to retire because it depends on the wishes of each gambler. And like the example you found yourself, where he is old and shouldn't be gambling, but he still enjoys gambling and doesn't mind if he is old.

The time to leave gambling is the time when you really don't want to gamble anymore and that can be for many reasons. Some people have to become addicted to gambling first before they can leave gambling because their lives have become a mess. Some people leave gambling because they are married and don't want to get into trouble from gambling because there is a possibility that they will gamble until they lose their limit. And there are many other reasons why someone leaves gambling.

Why should old generation retire from gambling if that one can make him happy? I guess there's no definite age for that question since it will matter to the person on what age he think to retire from this activity but if you believe that once a gambler always a gambler for sure you would provably understand that why they are still continue to gamble. I also believe that there children support them from what they are doing since they also think that make their parent happy so I guess if we are old and really fan with certain casino games or sports we would provably go in that situation. But question there if the old man is in good phase since even if he's enjoying hopefully his family still monitoring his activities so that he will not exceed playing or gamble to much and spend a lot of money for that hobby. But overall for me I'm fine with it an as long as those people can gamble despite of their age then all of it is fine.

Like any hobbies or passions out there, I don't think that there shouldn't be any age of retirement for that because if that's what you love to do and you like to do it without any problems then why not continue doing it right? There's no way that you can just give what you love to do unless it's hurting you. I think that's my take on this question, that money won't be going anywhere and that old man probably got the money to be able to sustain that habit and one thing about all of this is we really don't have a say as to how that old man or any old person do with their money because it's common sense to mind your own business.

In my opinion, I do not expect any 70-year-old man to be betting for the money again unless he merely derives his pleasure in betting. But if there is a man like that that still bets for the money, such is so unwise and might have no choice which pushes him into it. However, gambling is the wrong choice of avenue to get desperate money or money you rely upon for a living.

There is no way that man would not face the bad fate that people face in gambling. Can you imagine this at that age? That is so unwise. At a certain age, I believe that people should know what fits them and what doesn't fit them anymore, gambling in old age shouldn't happen. They may only play games among their friends and family, and could even bet with their little money for the fun of it within the circle as well. But still betting like a regular person, I don't see any honour and sanity in that at all.

Regardless, I hope the man bets with small amounts to lessen the negative effect.

They're just surprised that someone asked randomly that old man and it's not a problem at all but based on their reactions, it's just like "mind your own business" as they say lowkey.

so what I to ask a gambler is that what age should someone who is a gambler supposed to reach before the person retire in gambling or is it advisable for someone to continue to gamble until death separate us with gambling.
It depends on your capacity and happiness. Yes, happiness because if that old man is finding his happiness through gambling at his age, no one can question that as all of us have our own reasons why we gamble be it, young or old.

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.
Leave when you've made profits and come back anytime you wish as long as you're not asking for loans to gamble, simple.

Everyone has a different answer because they have their own thoughts on when to stop gambling, but the sooner you stop, the better, especially if you are too deep in gambling where it is difficult to take a break because you are always filled with the desire to gamble at any time, but as long as you can with It's good to control gambling, you can stop when you have to stop so that it doesn't interfere with other activities such as work or whatever and also doesn't interfere with your finances, so it's not a problem to continue doing it, and regarding the case you raise, it's very possible that the person has been gambling for a long time, not when he was already His retirement and gambling are carried out very responsibly, therefore he can still continue to gamble even though he has retired and his income is of course limited only from pension funds.
