One day I saw an old man of seventy [70] years old in gambling center were we bet for soccer predictions gambling bet, and I interviewed the old man that his age that why is it gambling up this age, and many people who don't know me was like wondering why I interviewed the man and some said why I mine questioning the man that gambling is a game of personal interest.so what I to ask a gambler is that what age should someone who is a gambler supposed to reach before the person retire in gambling or is it advisable for someone to continue to gamble until death separate us with gambling.

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.

Isn't it annoying that you interviewed and asked that man why he still gambled at his age?

It's out of our business anymore even if you don't have any bad intention of asking that. The old guy might just be enjoying his life to the fullest as maybe he's used to gambling during his prime days. There's no right age to stop gambling. As long as the gambler is a responsible person in gambling, they can continue regardless of their age, until their inner self shows no interest anymore in gambling or is no longer capable anymore to do gambling.

Maybe just our of curiosity since people might be curious to their activity especially if they always hear bad stories about gambling. But if they could just realize that gambling is not all about losing and somehow it can make the old man brain to get exercise then for sure they would not touch or disturb their activities. For sure their family know already what they do but they let their old folks enjoy what they currently do since they know that's how they enjoy their boring times in a day.

As long as we can see them responsible of what they do an have fun everything they do is really fine since nothing more pay off especially if we see them happy on what they are doing.

There is nothing wrong with gambling at a later age in life. Gambling offers different kind of relief if one can handle it and for someone at the age of 60 and above that is into gambling is probably sone who has gambled for a long time and knows the pros and cons to it.
There is a fear of hypertension but, these guys just get amused at most of the results. What’s there to worry about after enjoying a long life.

I think there isn’t really an age limit for this activity or retirement as a whole. Having an age limit attached to it would flaw the system. One should only stop gambling if one happens to lose so much, isn’t catching the fun in it and when an individual has gone above reason. These could be pointers that tells you when to quit or give it a break.

So you won't tell us the answer of the old guy after questioning him? And then ask us the same question, it would be much better if you will share his answers since  i guess not all of people here is in their 60s or even 70s just like the guy you asked.
As for your question, it's personal preference, at that age, people just wants entertainment, or i say testing their luck at that age. Oldies in my area do still gamble without age limit as long the guy can stand up, talk what his bet and thats ehat important, of course there's someone who assist to them.

Most older people has nothing to lose in life  , they are just enjoying what they wanted to
explore like my Grandma and grandfa as they continued gambling in casino houses in their last days in life.
when I did asked them those days? what they answered is what should i lost grandson?
my days are ending and all of you(we her daughter and grand children) are busy in your own life so where
do we need to spend ours? waiting for our last breath in the bed or couch ?

Not having anything to lose shouldn't make them gamble anyhow. What of if they later lose all their life savings to betting. Don't you think it will affect them. A gambler addict can't easily stop gambling at any stage of his/her life.

You know the answer so well to your question. That man is gambling because he has the money and he wants to enjoy himself. He probably doesn't have a lot of things to do anyway that's why he's at the gambling house. I don't think it's okay to advise old people to not do something that will entertain them. Perhaps one can do that if they know that the old person is already not at their best mental acuity.

If I'm a rich, old guy just looking to kill time, I'd also look at gambling houses to socialize and have some fun.

That's interesting. Not all people keep the cognitive functions okay when they arrive to a certain age, and in some cases their habits should be controlled, especially in the case of gambling, because due to their bad head they could lose overnight all the wealth they accumulated during their life.

Apart from these cases, if they are lucid, I think that it is a escape route to an otherwise boring routine. My old father likes to play lotteries in the dream of winning the jackpot someday, and that hope keeps him entertained.

In the ancient days, it's really difficult for you to see a young man playing gambling or getting involved in gambling related activities as it is mostly old men that plays gamble as at that time and if any young man wants to play gamble, the old men will chase him away. It is just in this modern days that youths are getting involved in gambling if not youths never showed interest in gambling and one of the things that made most of our youths get involved in gambling is as a result of lack of job opportunity because I don't see any reason why someone who is earning from a job will choose to play gambling that has a 50:50 chance of winning but however, there are still some person that earns salary but yet they still gamble.

Let me no digress from the question, there is actually no speculated age in which someone would quit gambling because gambling is a choice and quitting gambling is a choice as well but to me when one is getting out of age (becoming old), they should rather exonerate themselves from anything that will cause shock and anxiety in them and also things that will stress their life. Gambling shouldn't be played till old age as at that time what they need is rest and relaxation rather than getting involved in things that will compound their memory or cause uneasiness to their health.

I suppose its nearly impossible for gambler to completely quit gambling and retire. Gambling is very fun experience and it directly gets your attention in ads even. (Casinos are fun places to visit for sure). Also, gambling takes nearly zero physical effort. You need to have good eyes, reactions and that's sort of enough. Some gambling methods are about good memory like cards, but I think that's possibly only game that old people would consider retiring after their memory becomes weaker.

It is not bad to continue gambling until you die or until you are unable to have your brain functioning properly because of old age. An old man that still have fun while gambling should continue to have the fun if he is not wasting money on it, so far it is just little amount of money and having fun with it.

Gambling should be fun. If you gamble for fun, it can help you to avoid loniness at old age most especially when your family aren't around. But this can also be a problem for an addict especially at old age. It may cause anxiety and depression especially when they bet with huge capital. If this continues it can increase their BP. One can gamble at any age if one can control is gambling act.

In my opinion, everyone's point of view is different, so there are people who gamble for fun, in the sense that when they lose, they probably don't mind the loss and don't think about being able to recover the losses that have occurred. This can also help them when they are lonely or bored because gambling has its own sensation. but if it's true, respond to it.
On the other hand, many of them respond wrongly to gambling until they become addicted to gambling and cannot accept their losses and it makes them annoyed so they want to continue gambling and reach the point of depression if they have run out of money because they always lose, and this will of course be detrimental to them. in the future and maybe it could carry over into their old age, in my opinion it's not wrong, because if they still have enough money to gamble, I mean they don't have problems with their finances, even though they are old but still like to gamble, that's not a problem, that's what happens. the problem is when they are old but still addicted to gambling and on the other hand they force themselves to continue gambling even though they have problems with their finances.
There are indeed some who consider gambling as a place to get pleasure without thinking about the defeat they have obtained.
But the fact is, very many expect to win and double their money from gambling. even most of them like it.

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.

Honestly, I don't have the right answer regarding this question. the reason is, I don't know what will happen in the future. Gambling for me is now entertainment that can be done after work activities, during leisure time, or when I am bored. so, I don't have an answer to your question. likewise with other hobbies that I like besides gambling. nothing is certain, but there will be times when we can stop according to certain conditions and situations. even then, if it is accompanied by the intention or enjoys other hobbies besides gambling. my goal in gambling is not just about winning and making money, because there are other ways to do that without the risk of losing. what is certain is that we cannot predict what will happen in the future, even in old age.

Well, now we focus on the old man who is the main character in this thread, a man at the age of 70 who still likes gambling. in fact, this old man said that what he did was only for personal gain. it was clearly implied that he didn't want to talk at length about why he was still gambling. there are many factors behind it. we can assume freely according to what we think, but there is no definite answer because this old man did not say in detail why he still gambles. it could be that he really likes football. to arouse a high sense of enthusiasm for watching it, it involves betting in it. it could also not be a problem with money, after all, he is old enough to earn money, especially from gambling. so, there are many assumptions that we can conclude. but there was no right answer, because only this old man knew it. well, for me personally there is no truly right time. as long as we still enjoy gambling, as long as we will be involved in gambling. moreover, if it doesn't interfere with our financial problems. but usually there comes a time when someone will stop, at an undetermined time but at a fixed time without planning.

When to stop or continue gambling cannot be determined by age. Sometimes elderly people still like to gamble because they think it will keep their brain functioning well and avoid dementia. I'm still not 100% sure whether gambling activities have a correlation with maintaining the brain function of elderly people in good condition in old age. They also don't have the ambition to win at gambling, but just want to have fun and fill the free time. Fortunately, nowadays you don't need to go to special gambling places to gamble, because online gambling now has so many platforms. I quite often find groups of elderly people gambling in small coffee shops in inland villages with their friends. Each other played gambling on their smartphones while joking and relaxing.

But who are you OP? I mean, are you famous on that betting shop? Gambling is a game of personal interest but it does not mean that we won't have the rights to ask someone (a gambler) some questions, especially if we are a popular figure on this field. And it's only up to that gambler if they will gladly gave us some minutes to make an answer to our questions that are being asked to them.

It's not that it's advisable to gamble until death, but as long as you have no problems with it (financially, mentally, etc) then you are free to gamble until at what age you like. If we are winning, yes we can continue but we still can take a break.

After all, why gamble to spend your old age with a difficult economy because you keep gambling after money, it won't be fun and it's true that gambling should be fun so that in old age you can enjoy life more than having to think about making money to keep gambling again, whereas if it's for fun we can playing gambling at certain times without the pressure of having to gamble all the time just because you are chasing something, let alone money.

Being an addict when you're old is sad, you should realize it before it's too late because old age is better spent doing something better and more positive, for example gathering with family or something like that, it's not necessary for all gamblers to retire, but of course everyone wants to die in good condition, why should choose to gamble until you die, especially because of addiction. This way does not really enjoy life and understand the true meaning of gambling.

As a gambler what do you think that should be the right time we suppose to leave gambling weather we are making profits or we are not making profits with gambling, because I know quite well that gambling whenever you are making profits you will wish to continue gambling unless that you run out of cash.

I don't think a gambler can be stopped because of old age as long as he is a responsible gambler and it does not interfere with his finances, or his health and doesn't cause a rift in a family, when you treat gambling as a form of entertainment I don't think you can just let it go like that.
Gamblers who should retire are those who are badly losing money that they don't need to lose and who are neglecting their health and their family these are the people who need to stop gambling to save themselves.
But if you're good you don't need to do anything you can play as long as you can.

The old people who have enough money to finance their gambling habit have no reason to stop gambling. It's mainly a matter of decision. And asking aged men why they are into gambling is a biased behavior. Because some other people offer services in the market while others still participate in games like lawn tennis. I think before one bothers about one old person who gambles he should go ahead to question every old person he sees being busy with his time. Activities like gambling keeps their brain busy and helps them tackle boredom. We understand they need to rest and be attended to by loved ones. But life isn't good that way. It's preferably better for the person to exercise himself, take a walk and cover some distances. However, those who abuse gambling at old age should be cautioned and stopped by their loved ones or family. So that they won't undergo a difficult situation like lose of their retirement plans.

I do not think there is a pre-established time for anyone to retire from gambling, only when one feels it is convenient to do so or when one believes oneself to be satisfied enough with the accumulated experiences gotten through gambling.
It should be obvious, because in the end, gambling is a hobby and any hobby is supposed to be retired from when a better way to spend our time is found.
Though, if someone is over 70 years old and continues to gamble one must wonder whether the sources of income of that gentleman are big enough for him to have enough of a gambling budget, it is not the same to gamble as a young adult than doing it as a elderly. Hopefully, he has some working children who give him some money to spare in his leisure time.

The old man doesn't have huge money for the gambling, this was the reason for the gambler should have retirement age as like the normal job.But the gambler will play the game with own tactics, because at the old age.The gambler easily start to fight with others,So playing the responsible game at the old age is important. If tbe gambler face the loss in the game,he should take the break without any hesitation.Because only the break will change the gambler mindset to the loss again and again. The gambler should think what will be output,if he had loss the entire money in the gambling site.So the gambler get triggered to solve the gambling game and make the more winning using their own mindset in the particular game.
We don't know whether the old man didn't have a lot of money or whether he deliberately gambled on certain days. Surely, he still enjoys placing bets, so he still gambles on sports betting. It's okay as long as he can control himself in placing bets. But he must also be able to realize that he is old and should not place bets too often and do other things to enjoy life more. After all, he used to really like sports betting and has been doing it for a long time. But indeed, gambling can make people keep placing bets again, even just to enjoy their free time.
