I don't believe that gambling everyday draws you closer to wining chances, I believe that what brings you closer is how you manage your money, the lower you risk on gambling the more you will have left to try again before you quit for the day.

I like having my days of gambling in a week, two times in week most times, and I don't have to win one round out of the two days in a week, it's what I can afford after all, gambling has been so good to some people, they can't even appreciate LUck, they believe it's their doing, but it's really not, they just get lucky it is.

a piece of advice, don't expect too much in gambling, face your work or job, and learn new skills that will give you passive income, gambling isn't the solution for this.

Doing gambling every day will cause you a bad and negative effects on your health, mind and physical body. A lot can happen if you can't limit yourself as early as now. I have seen many chronic gamblers who continue to gamble today but if you find out what happened in their lives, you will feel sorry for them. They lost many things or people because of gambling, they grow old alone because no family wants to take care of them. Having an opportunity to gamble doesn't mean you need to gamble  every single day and night. Learn how to fix and save yourself from the things that may ruin your life.
Families really want to take care of such people, no family shows a harsh attitude towards their loved ones, even though they are involved in social criticism and filled with negativity, family feelings are nobler and more inclusive than many people think, but in return for this generosity, these are the careless and unemotional views of those who gamble every day. Gambling every day is equivalent to withdrawing most of the emotions and positivity, to fill this gap, people constantly consume both material and spiritual things, exhausted is the word to describe

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
Gambling everyday is like an addiction because is only a gambling addict that believes that everyday is a new opportunity of wining, although in as much as gambling is a very risky and has a higher chance of losing there are also people who makes wining on a daily basis, so perhaps I wouldn't blame such gambler if they gambles everyday because they have a good wining records but however the only people I kick against in times of gambling everyday are people who always keep losing on a daily basis and still have the believe that everyday has a new opportunity.

It's not about whether is it addiction or not, we are all addicts, in one way or another. It's about does it hurts someone or not... people can play with some small amounts and have fun & entertainment. We are allowed to have hobbies, and having a hobby cost some money.

Gambling every day doesn't affect our chances to win, but I guess some people enjoy watching & betting on sports daily, and some poker players find some tournament or cash table every day. I guess that everything depends on free time & bankroll, with more time and nice bankroll some people can allow themselves to have fun this way, but some of us don't have such privileges.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

No- it goes both ways: the more you gamble, there is that higher chance of you failing.

By basing it on statistics alone, the house will always win due to the presence of house edge that will always give the slight advantage to the gambling platform. The logic of your friend is nothing but fallacious- remember that the more you gamble, the more exposed you are to the risk of losing at the same time. While there may be occasional moments of winning, losing will always be inevitable.

If you're an old money, it's fine to gamble for every day because you have a business or investment that can generate money without you need to work.

But if you're just a someone who's trying to achieve more money to build your own wealth, gambling every day is definitely time wasting as you can use the time to learn a new skill or search for an another opportunity.

I definitely agree with you.

Gambling is all about perspective- it depends on how you view either as a form of entertainment or as a way for extra income. People who have the money to fund their gambling satisfaction may see it as a form of entertainment; but to those who view it as a form of income, then you expose yourself in the risk of losing.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

He said when you keep trying luck every day you stand the chance not to miss your luck of winning, he also made reference to few people around our locality who won outrageous Money within 31 Dec to 1 January 2024, asking if I knew how often those people keep trying for them to have the winning they got.

I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

Assuming you are playing a game with a 49% win rate and a 51% loss rate. Do you think it is more likely you make money when you play 1 day x 10 rounds a month or when you play 30 days x 50 rounds a month? I am just asking this because I want to see whether you understand the number crunching involved in gambling because if you did, you probably would not have asked this question.

You could now argue that you found a game with a guaranteed 51% win rate vs. a 49% loss rate. Congratulations, but I advise you to not share that game publicly and instead keep this holy secret to yourself. Wink

come on friends, gambling is related to money where our money can be lost and increased, but most likely it will only make us lose money, I'm not sure that gambling every day can increase our chances of winning, because there is no basis that the more often you gamble, the more big chance of winning, it's just bullshit. In my opinion, gambling every day is a bad thing, even if we have sufficient income and always have extra money or free money, in my opinion it is unethical to gamble every day, even with a small budget.

and if you really have a good income why not invest or save, I have a friend who often gambles, he has the idea that the more money he loses in gambling, the bigger his winnings will be because by losing the money he has in gambling he considers it a saving, I as his friend could only sigh when he said gambling was a savings that could provide big wins according to the money they lost while gambling.
My advice is don't gamble excessively, especially every day, in my opinion it's not good even if you have enough money!

So from some of the example and people I knew then that gambles they hardly released money for the family to feed, reason being that they always wants to be at the winning side instead to lose or miss any opportunity that may come across there ways.

Most chronic gambling addicts have less time for their families, so they may not know what is happening in their family because their major concern is the way they can analyse their bet for the next staking time. I have noticed this with offline gamblers and most of those secretly work into gambling house and stay there a long time. Some pretend in the house that they don't gamble but they are huge stakers who see gambling as a source of income or investment instead of taking care of the home but they use the money to gamble leaving the family without attention and finance.

then he is so attached to gambling and may have spent money that he can afford to lose and check his family if they still ok and go along, I'm afraid your friend is prioritizing gambling more than his family and this is not good.

I have not take a good look at his family to know if the family is doing well or not, most times you can define those people with the way they do things because anyone who so much love gambling can as well starve the family to make sure he didn't miss any bet for the day as he might planned it. So from some of the example and people I knew then that gambles they hardly released money for the family to feed, reason being that they always wants to be at the winning side instead to lose or miss any opportunity that may come across there ways.

Your own reasoning is thesame as mine because constant playing of gamble draws you closer to addiction and also you will have more loos often than win the more you play and loos the more aggressive you become and play with out of boundaries by even selling your valuables to make sure you keep to your promise of meeting up to target always. Where as there is no assurance of wining.

There is a friend of mine that assumes to be a risk taker by always playing without season, now almost everything in his house has been sold off. that is to tell you that it's always risky to have that kind of thinking. Alot of warning of quiting when there is more often loose has been said in this forum and that should not be underestimated, so let's gamble with caution.

They tell people that trade not to trade everyday, the same advice goes to gamblers not to gamble everyday because it is easier to get addicted to something that you do everyday. So to avoid addiction have days in the week when you gamble. A gambler should not gamble everyday and on every game.

Any gambler who also gambles just strictly for fun also has to know that when a fun activity gets repeated over and over again, it can get boring.

Your friend is so addicted to gambling that he doesn't want to skip a day gambling, that's just his alibi there's no truth to it, it has no basis and it will never be a fact, that's a gambler's defense, gambling is a game of luck you can win anytime even if you're not playing regularly.
You should help your friend overcome his addiction, if a gambler has that belief that he must not skip playing so he can win, then he is so attached to gambling and may have spent money that he can afford to lose and check his family if they still ok and go along, I'm afraid your friend is prioritizing gambling more than his family and this is not good.

Don't listen to statements like that because statistics on winning vs losing in gambling will not justify what is said even though I cannot show you data on how many people win vs lose in gambling.
Slot type online gambling may use an algorithm system. You will be lucky on the 1000th or 10,000th spin. So you can imagine how much money we will spend to get to the lucky stage.

The player who won the big bet shown by him may have lost large amounts of money for days without stopping so that person got the sensational win that he had wanted for a long time.

If you have the money to gamble every day and accept whatever will happen to you, you can gamble every day. But never complain if you lose or become addicted to gambling because that is the risk of gambling every day, especially when you don't have good self-control, which can prevent you from losing a lot of money every day and also experiencing a gambling addiction. Most people are not ready to see loss, and even though they gamble daily, it does not guarantee they will win. What is there is that they can experience loss every day, which can cost them all their money. You should manage your gambling time so that you don't have gambling addiction problems and can also prevent losing every day because it will be painful.

Yes, that's right, it means that the understanding of everything in gambling, especially about the chances of winning and the risk of losing, must really be emphasized to every gambler, if indeed they already understand about it or even not at all, everything returns to each of them about what decisions they will make whether they will not care about the risks that are very likely to occur by gambling every day or they prioritize their own safety by coming not too often. On the other hand if you want to gamble every day then I think you should really be able to balance your finances between the allocation for gambling and for other needs because I doubt that and I think most gamblers will not be able to manage their finances properly if they decide to gamble too often.

But yes as I said that it all comes back to you, if you do that it means you are ready with all the possibility of losing a certain amount, the point is you have full responsibility for everything that comes out of your decision. But on the other hand the fact is true that most of the gamblers want to win but object to losing, the inability to accept risk will make them end up with the unexpected due to too much chasing break-even, while on the other hand there is absolutely no certainty and guarantee to get a win, so I think there is really nothing better unless you limit the gambling time, expectations and also the amount of budget.

If you're an old money, it's fine to gamble for every day because you have a business or investment that can generate money without you need to work.
If only age is the reason then it is not appropriate and logical because not all parents have gaps that can really help them financially, not all parents have businesses or investments that can be used as collateral to meet their financial needs.
There are many parents out there who rely on their children to be able to have some money and of course in conditions like this it would be very worrying if they still gambled every day.
We must be able to distinguish between each person condition rather than classifying them based on their age in order to be able to relate to the intensity of gambling.

Well, I agree with responses like this and indeed gambling every day just for the ambition to enrich yourself will really waste your time and cost lot of money, won't get wealth but only lose which will lead to poverty.
We must be able to use time and money as well as possible, such as increasing knowledge, experience and improving skills.
That way we can work, do business and build more active and consistent source of income in the long term.

It is true that placing bets every single day will increase your chances of winning but how about your loss? Successive loss may ruin your mood of gambling for fun. Is this how rich you are to gamble every single day?
I don't think it's true. Mathematically, you are constantly fighting against a house that has an edge over you. The more bets you make, usually the higher your loss will be. It makes no sense to me how gambling more or regularly will increase your chances of winning. If anything, it will result in more losses. This how gambling industry works which means we must limit our gambling, hence limiting would be possible only if we gamble only for entertainment reasons.

Gambling every day is a gambling addiction and it really won't end well. I think your friend is addicted to gambling but he doesn't realize it.
Agree. It's a gambling addiction and people find reasons to justify their actions. Like a gambling addict would tell themselves that if I don't gamble today and I was supposed to hit max win today then what? And then they gamble.

Reminds me stories when someone was buying lottery tickets every day, selecting same numbers; doing it over and over again for ages, until winning a jackpot. If that is the gambling that suppose to be daily, then yes, this is better than any other form of gambling. There is a constant budget, there is a goal, it is more a habit, routine, ritual than an addiction. All other ways of gambling daily will only lead to addiction. Daily dose of gambling can be considered as not bad, until the bets are low. For example vising casino, spinning free wheel daily isnt bad.

Sure, buying a scratcher or two to dream a little ain't exactly high roller stuff.  But there's some souls out there who get caught in the claws of it, right? Folks gambling their grocery money away day after day, week after week hoping and praying for that big win that never comes.  For them, it stops being just a little harmless fun and excitement and starts ruining lives.  So Id say it depends on the person whether every day gambling's harmless or not and  if it's wrecking your world, time to cash out in my book.
