If you are gambling on a daily basis, that will most likely result into gambling addiction, which means the more you show uncontrollable urge to gamble, the more you will create chances of losing. So I don’t really see gambling everyday is a wise move, no matter how you find it as a means of entertainment or as a means to provide an income, the fact that you spend money everyday in gambling where probability of winning is rare, then you are allowing yourself to lose more often than winning.

It’s only safe to gamble when you only gamble at an amount you can afford to lose. When you think you are losing too much, it’s better to just take a short break from gambling.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

He said when you keep trying luck every day you stand the chance not to miss your luck of winning, he also made reference to few people around our locality who won outrageous Money within 31 Dec to 1 January 2024, asking if I knew how often those people keep trying for them to have the winning they got.

I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

No, gambling every day is not good, it is not healthy for us. If you do this, your money will run out quickly, the chances are high that you will become addicted to gambling. It's not bad to try your luck every day but we know in ourselves that we are not lucky every day, there are times when you will lose, your money will run out, you will fall down then if you are like this every day, you will probably run out of money in addition to money you are also stressed every day etc. and this is not good for health.

Gambling every day is just equal to addiction because you will do anything necessary to get money in other not to skip a day without playing and the more you keep gambling everyday the more you run into too many losses and it might deprive you from focusing on other life obligations because all your focus and attention is on gambling and hoping to win one day of which the chances is minimal so just like gambling is a game of luck as what works for another may not really work for you so if you choose to follow how others play gamble you may really go astray when you don't achieve what you wanted so no matter how inquisitive you are to win, gambling everyday is not a good habit.
It is via gambling on a daily basis that addiction develops. I don't see any distinction between the two. I don't expect people to constantly want to wager on every game since there are some games that you don't need anyone to tell you are unsafe to bet on. You can also accomplish it by choosing days when, even if you don't wager, you can make accurate forecasts based on recent games. That is the problem with gambling; it causes one to lose concentrate on other things on a daily basis. Because it will rely largely on it. Having something to do is therefore preferable. And I will always repeat that if you buy, you will not prioritize gambling. And knowing full well that it's all down to luck. It is preferable to devote all of one's energies to something more rational than to gambling.

What?!!!
Anyway, we can as well rule that your friend is on his way to becoming a gambling addict. I mean, how do one get to gamble every day? Is he or she really cautious of what money would be spent in the cause of taking gambling for a daily routine?

I wouldn’t do that, not today and not any other day.
Gambling have got some purpose which is fun and possibly make some money but, when the lose is always often, it’s not something suitable for a daily routine.

Maybe your friend @OP needs to be more cautious of his or her loses because, it actually doesn’t draw your luck any closer. It ends you even before your luck arrives. You ain’t fast forwarding anytime, take your time and you would win when the time is right, mainly when you least expect it.

Op I don't know where your friend got that idea from. In fact, the more you keep playing is the more your chances of Lossing more increases. I suggest you watch out for that your friend because he is beginning to develop the symptoms of gambling addiction and before you'll know it he has turned to an irresponsible gambler. Most times I just gamble 3-5 times in a month, especially on weekends sport games, and that is ok for me as I spend only what I programed to use for gambling to gamble.

that is a dangerous mindset to have towards gambling. also, gambling every day draws you closer to addiction and financial instability. sadly, I think your friend is almost there. you, being a friend of his, you might want to talk to him about the dangers of his mindset towards gambling.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
of course, it is not. not only it could lead to gambling problems and ultimately gambling addiction you will be also risking your financial security.

That is the wrong thought that your friend said. He will only lose his money more often by gambling every day because there is no guarantee winning will get closer to him. Even though he tries to gamble more often, if luck doesn't come, he can't win the gambling game and will only experience loss after loss.

In addition, he has the possibility of becoming a gambler who is addicted to gambling if he does not know how to stop himself from gambling every day. And it will be worse if he cannot control himself and instead gambles more often using more money. He may have been gambling too long and can't think clearly. He just thinks that the more often he gambles, the closer he gets to his luck so that he can win the gambling game.

Heard that a lot when I was still young and guess what? The people that I've heard it telling the same logic are still living with the same kind of lifestyle but their way of life didn't get any bit better.

That's why if you are up to gamble and you think that you'll miss your luck when you miss gambling a day, that's not how it goes. Sometimes, we're actually lucky but many times that we're not.

So if you do it for an everyday habit and you don't have a work to do or some other things to get busied with, you're more likely to just become addicted.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

No, for me gambling every day is something bad. We will experience many loses and every day will be covered by the shadow of loses which will make us not focus on our work.

I play slots a lot, and if I play slots every day then usually the slot machine will be very bad at both normal spins and free spin bonuses. I prefer to play infrequently, maybe once a week or once every two weeks, usually the results will be better than playing every day. Apart from our fresh minds when playing gambling, we will often be more focused and able to win the game compared to playing every day because I am sure we will not focus and enjoy the game but instead chase losses which often end up worse.

Isn't the result of his reference biased? Dec 31 and Jan 1 are key holiday events for almost the entire world so I believe it's rather expected that a lot more people won money within those two dates simply because a lot more people played during those days. And maybe even a lot more times compared to their regular play times!

Anw I don't believe playing every day is better, it's just nonsense since your chances don't stack up depending on the number of days you play, they always reset to 50/50. If we were to start thinking of missing our "luck" on x day because we didn't play, is that even luck in the first place? Kind of dumb to believe as well that a day that hasn't passed yet has something in it for us. Though I guess if you have the money I won't stop you.

Well as funny as this may sound but then there's some truth in it, in that you don't know the day you may be lucky except if you play that day, so you just have to keep playing so on your lucky day you will be present or you will have some stakes already on your game but then there's a problem with this kind o f mindset.

If you gamble every day, you put yourself at risk of bankruptcy especially if you are not having another job you do aside gambling and then since there's uncertainty as it regards your lucky day , you may have staked low on your so called lucky day and may not be able to recover from your losses so far even after a win on your lucky day so this mindset actually has got a two sides to it, it's advantage and disadvantages you make your preference and see if it's such you can cope with else you gamble only on the days you see better opportunities.

if you're asking this question from his point of narration, I'll say it's never okay to gamble all the time ... For obvious reasons, they gamble away their moneys, hoping to hit a jackpot that would have simply been theirs assuming they were able to adopt an attitude of saving up every fuckin' dime they spend on gambling.

I'm not doubting the fact that some tickets are being selected for the jackpot (especially the accumulator bet), but the big question there is - what if you're not lucky to get shortlisted on your 4th or 5th trial, assuming you normally wager like 100 bucks on a single ticket?

BIG NO. That's pretty much the same as chasing your losses every single day. The chances for him to lose more money is very huge than winning not to gain profit out from his accumulated losses, but probably won't be enough to cover all his losses or break even.
IMO, that's just a terrible idea. Finding your luck every single day, that pretty rough. Let's say he'd be lucky twice a week, but how much does he need to lose in that 5 days of unluckiness? Did you it worked for him? Because he has probably ignoring the fact that he's losing, he seems enjoying only the days when he's lucky. That man needs someone to do accounting stuff to sum everything he lost and how little he make everytime he's lucky. No matter how I think of it, It probably wouldn't work.
Maybe we can say that his wager could be very small to cover him within the week, let say since he said if gambling everyday he could allocate a specific fund that 7 days and gamble with them gradually to able to sustain him for the week as he may planned it. Otherwise it's a very wrong mentality and thinking of betting every single day just to make sure didn't missed any luck for the day.

That is a big mistake, it never gets you closer to winning but losing. I can't imagine someone who is very lucky every day as I don't experience such a thing. Don't get fooled by such reasoning OP, he might be lucky but can't be sure of yourself if you are too lucky just like your friend as well.

Just think about this --the more time you gamble, the more time you spend which is a bad gambling habit for this will cause into overspending.
Your friend is in a state of addiction, avoid him as it influences your mind and become like him.

This is a big fat lies and fake observation. I have seen people and not heard or read anywhere win games on the first day of the month and the year and won a lots, many that copied the codes and play weren't even into gambling throughout the year of 2023 and they just wanted to test it out this year and has won something reasonable and we have some people that has been gambling since December back to back and to date, they didn't win a single bets, so I doubt how quality his observations were or maybe that's how it works for him but I don't think it can be applicable for others.

You can gamble everyday for now to to December of 2024 and if they should count how many times they are going to win. It might not be more than 10, I don't think the observation can speak for everyone. What work for you might not really work for another gambler. There are some gamblers that are seasonal gamblers and they make money from gambling than people that bet everyday and I think your friend might be wrong.

What kind of a point of view is this? The theory he says is flawed in every aspect. I get closer to winning by gambling every day. If you have unlimited money to play with, of course you will win and you will get big odds.

If you continue to gamble with this thought, you will soon lose all your money and become negative. And it seemed even funnier that he recommended this idea to others. There is a timing to winning and it is just a matter of luck. Someone who plays less can win long before you, even if he plays at the right time.

if you are on the luck-based games, you will be subjecting yourself more on the losing end rather than on the winning side. but if you are a poker or blackjack professional player, that i can believe you can be on the positive side of things.
I understand your point. Some games, such as poker, blackjack, possibly roulette, and other card games, are more complex than playing slots, but even though skill-based games require luck, it's not that they're only dependent on your knowledge or strategy. Anything that is done on a daily basis could possibly be considered an addictive behavior. Personally, I find it too much; gambling should be entertaining and not something that has to be done daily. On top of that, his logic doesn't even apply, because that also means that he's equally likely increasing his chances of losing.

I will make an attempt to refute that statement. Do you not engage in any other activities apart from gambling? Is your daily routine solely dedicated to gambling? Or is it of equal significance to gambling that you choose to partake in it every day, fearing the possibility of missing out on any opportunities?

Hey everyone, just wanted to remind you that gambling is an option worth considering. It offers the potential for big wins, but it also comes with the risk of losing. However, it's important to keep in mind that defeat is an inevitable outcome in this scenario... hehe
Do not have high hopes for gambling, as it is an unpredictable endeavor. Although one can strive to improve their chances of winning, there is no guarantee that every attempt will result in victory. Furthermore, if a person lacks self-discipline and cannot determine when to play and when to quit, which can cause a even a substantial win would hold no significance. Eventually, all winnings will be depleted by continuous gambling.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.
This reminds me of a question that one of my friends asked me. He asked me if I have seen any responsible gamblers who have made it big out of gambling, or if I have seen any gamblers who just gambled for a week and won big from gambling. I also answered no because I have not seen any.

He said the more you continue to gamble, the more your chance of winning is going to increase. They believe in that theory that says "One can't be unlucky for the rest of 365 days." You never can tell which day will be that lucky day, which is the main reason most of them gamble all the time, but I also have to remind him that the more you are gambling, the more the amount you are losing is increasing, and when you eventually win something, the amount won might not be equal to what you have spent.
