Gambling everyday might not totally be a bad idea if only the gambler is maintaining his reputation, like gambling wisely and not over gamble because he or she would wants to pursue luck or something (winning).
Many people can't do without having fun, just like it has already been quoted here several times that gambling is about fun which I don't totally believe but even without me believing, a lot of people believe it is for fun.
So, gambling everyday, depends on the gambler who's gambling, some might gamble everyday and end up becoming addicted to it while some people will gamble everyday and still control them selfs, becoming addicted to gamble depends on the gambler decision.

Logically gambling everyday doesn't seem to be a healthy practice. multiple gambling plays and stakes do not give a 100% guarantee on your winnings. Even though you can possibly win every single time, gambling everyday will become a habit that will gradually become part of you and before you know what is going on you can't do without it then boom you are stuck with a nasty addiction.
Gambling is supposed to be something done not too often to become a habit  and possibly at nice intervals. Gambling should always be carefully carried and done responsibly. One should be able to ration time and even money they spend during gambling activities to prevent great losses and the risk of an Addiction.

You speak which one is more.? If we talk about which is better...it is better to never gamble and not know. Playing wisely and regularly still shows that the gambling we do only causes losses, especially if we have to play every day. Who knows how much loss will be experienced. Indeed, the further we carry out gambling activities, the more we will lose the opportunity to win. But… we also have to remember that the chances of winning in gambling are very small.

This gambling is not a necessity and not an obligation, but rather a hobby and a choice. So be wise in gambling, because gambling is not the main priority, it would be very stupid if we prioritize gambling above our responsibilities and obligations, whether it is a young man's responsibility for his future, or a father's responsibility as the backbone of the family. By gambling every day, this shows nothing more than that we are unemployed, who have no responsibilities either to our families or ourselves.

Gambling every day is not better! if you are in a phase where your luck is far from yours, then there is a possibility that you will lose more money. Especially if you are not someone who has passive income or a fixed salary that does not interfere with your basic needs, this will add to your problems. Playing every day requires a lot of money. If you are not prepared, it is best not to overdo it by gambling every day. Give it time to rest, because it will be very painful when you are in the phase of a small winning percentage, and there are no big wins at all. do not be afraid of losing an uncertain winning. Play naturally, even if not every day,

Gambling everyday is not bad as long as we are still under our own control (both time and funds).
It is even better than gambling once a week or a month but we are out of control such as spending too many hours and losing more than we cant afford to lose.
I know that most people say that it is a sign of addiction, but for me addiction is when we cant control ourselves.
However the statement that the more we try = increase our chance to win is also not completely wrong but we also realize that there is no guarantee.
The more we try = increase both chance to win and chance to lose more.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
Gambling has various understandings, the situation felt by those who gamble every day and gamble occasionally also have different views, gambling generally has risks and gambling activities also have various sequences and challenges.

I mean, in the world of gambling it is always synonymous with luck and some strategic experience and skills that every gambler has, So there is no data that shows the win rate in detail and reliably, every day gambling has a real win rate, if you are lucky you might win once if you play and if you repeatedly make bets you never win, in essence there is no guarantee.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.
It will result in Gambling addiction and no longer be able to Gamble Responsibly.

Your friend must show his net betting result to prove what he says. He can win in one day, two days but in long term, loss is unavoidable. You don't even need to ask your friend about proof to know the truth.

Responsible Gambling
Responsible Gambling Tools and Helplines

Well, I am guided over here and anyone who constantly read and post in this section could barely becomes a gambling addiction no matter how they were tried to be convinced.
Thought I tried going into much argument with him but with knowledge over here I decided to keep him shunt with the way he was insisting, but I never wanted to buy his ideas of gambling every day knowing the results it would caused to my life. The goal is we should try to limits some forms of friends we may have out there because not all friends are there to make you, some are there to deceive you or trying to lead you to a bad part in life hence I have decided not to engage myself with much discussion to him.

Your friend is a victim of the gambler's fallacy and probably doesn't understand that house edge means in the long term only the casino wins.

The only chance to remain profitable in luck based games is to stop while you are in the green. A very small percentage of people remain profitable in casinos and these are only because they left while profitable. So tour friend needs to study about chance and the gambler's fallacy imho. Otherwise he's doomed to keep loosing everything.
Gambling is for fun and thrill, not for chasing profits. That's actually a bad practice.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

Yes and no, the answer depends only based on your financial status.

If you are rich and got ton of money saved already now enjoying your life to the fullest then gambling responsibly everyday won't be an issue.

No, if you are a salaried person and living the life making monthly budget then stick to it and don't ever consider gambling as form of money making.

Every gambler has a different view or opinion on how they gamble the person mentioned by the OP might be involved in lottery sort of gambling or Casinos which is mostly gambled on the daily basis thus their mindset of winning or having a brighter chances of winning a jackpot if played daily is absolutely wrong knowing that one in a million wins a jackpot thus the consequences of gambling everyday would lead to addiction, I had personal experience with a pool gambler who gamble almost every day with a mindset of winning huge someday yet couldn't win a jackpot, I gamble on sport bets which is usually during weekends or occasionally midweek matches and I don't have the mindset of winning big but to earn extra income.

The more often you gamble, the more it will affect your emotions and greed, which in the end will only lead to defeat in playing gambling.
It's okay to gamble every day, but still in good proportion. don't in one day there is no break in playing. set the playing time as good as possible. my advice is to keep stopping playing for half an hour or 1 hour before continuing to the next round.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

He said when you keep trying luck every day you stand the chance not to miss your luck of winning, he also made reference to few people around our locality who won outrageous Money within 31 Dec to 1 January 2024, asking if I knew how often those people keep trying for them to have the winning they got.

I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

I am curious to know if your friend has any other job aside gambling. It is his choice if he wants to gamble everyday but other aspects of his life like his finances, his relationships, other hobbies and job (I.e if he has) might get affected if he does not manage his time very well. He might be right that gambling everyday gives him a chance of winning,  you should also know that gambling everyday also puts him at risk of losing more money.  Aside this, your friend might just be driving himself slowly into an addiction. He might not even see anything wrong with his gambling habits until people begin to notice changes in him and draw his attention to them. Time management matters a lot as far as gambling is concerned.

This may also be how the gambling system works, the more often you log in, the more often the system will read your ID is always on and prioritized.
But I don't know if it is valid or not, because every Online casino has their own system.

But to do gambling every day, it seems that you have to think about how the mental state,
because this will greatly affect the mental stability of a gambling player.

I myself, even when some bets lose, stress levels will go up and this makes it easier for me to get angry and regret everything.
But when gambling is given a distance, it will make the mental state more stable.
This is not absolute, depending on how each person is.

Your friend might be onto something if he's tried this method successfully without becoming addicted.
You need to ask yourself if the friend in question is not addicted already?,  its obvious from his wordings that he only sees the positives from gambling engagement and doesn't sit back to check how much he's lost already betting daily, nor set a budget for gambling. In my own understanding, I think doing the same thing everyday, without taking a break occasionally is a very good indication of addiction.

His friend might be helpless in gambling and just trying to validate his addiction. You know that most times, gambling addicts don't see the damages they are having, they'll continue living on false hope until they are totally destroyed. That friend is living on hope that he will win one day, and the more he tries, the more the possibility of winning, which clearly  shows he isn't gambling for fun anymore, he's now overly expectant with his formula that he will be successful in gambling, which is not very rational if you seek my opinion.

~snip~

I think your friend is very misguided in his understanding of gambling theory. Any gambling in the long run leads to loss, and accordingly the more often you gamble the more you lose. Gambling every day is a very dangerous habit, because most likely after 2-3 months of such activity you will become a gambling addict and have psychological problems. Advise your friend to study more literature on gambling.

OP, By no means am I correct in your friend's opinion especially as I never believe that the probability of winning with daily wagering in gambling is higher or lower. As betting daily there is definitely a possibility of either profit or loss. Well, it could be that I bet every day and lose every day, in which case I have only my luck to blame. But if you bet on one thing every day win-lose either way if win is big then luck will be very good and situation will change overnight and if luck is bad and loss is big then bankruptcy will not take long.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

According to a popular saying, "talk is cheap and free" so anyone can spew whatever he likes. I don't gamble everyday and I don't believe that the more you frequently gamble, the more your chances of winning. For instance, you may gamble in each of the 31 days in a month and not win a single bet in sport betting but someone can give it a try just one time and might win big. So winning is a thing of luck and skills, not about consistency.

It depends on you as an individual gambler; Therefore you should consider your time, your money and wining opportunities that presents because gambling every day does not make you a successful gambler or guarantee you win. So, for me, I don't gamble every-day, and the reasons are because of winning opportunities and time to analyze matches because I have other things that I'm engaged with, and I mostly focus my attention on sports betting, so mostly when I see opportunities to win then that's when I stake my games.
Gambling does not make anyone win regularly.  Sometimes one has good luck then one can win in gambling.  So if someone thinks that he will gamble every day and win there every day then he is a fool and he is addicted to gambling because he cannot think about anything naturally. And even if one does not become addicted to gambling but gambles daily for the enjoyment of gambling, he will become addicted to gambling, so gambling daily should not be done at all.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
Gambling every day is bad, even very bad because you may forget that your life is not just for gambling and trying your luck. Stop imagining winning millions of dollars in gambling, although it is possible, you never know how much time and money you will have to spend to achieve it. Gambling will never make you rich if you are really obsessed with winning a lot of money from it, but make gambling a place to have fun and winning is a bonus you deserve.

You can gamble everyday, but you should be discipline about it and only do it for fun. For instance, if you set aside a gambling budget for the week and time limit on your gambling activities, I think you wouldn't be addicted because you are entertaining yourself. You can play gambke with very little amount everyday and quit when you gambling time is up.

It is when you think that gambling should be for profit making and you decided to put all your hope and time in gambling everyday because you think that you are increasing your chance of winning is where you have got gambling wrong and addiction and frustration will be the order of the day. If you like you should gamble 24/7, it doesn't increase you chance of winning because you will only win on the lucky day.
