How does gambling every single day increase your chances of winning? If that's so, it also increased the chances of losing, something that probably slipped from the OP's friend's mind. I certainly wouldn't do that, not only because I don't have the available time but also because I don't find it healthy to gamble every day. That's going to make you addicted sooner or later.

I'm mostly inclined to believe that his friend is actually addicted and is finding excuses for why he's gambling on a daily basis. It would be interesting to know how much he's winning, because according to him, he's increasing his chances by gambling every day.

if you are on the luck-based games, you will be subjecting yourself more on the losing end rather than on the winning side. but if you are a poker or blackjack professional player, that i can believe you can be on the positive side of things. daily is good if you have nothing important to do in your life. but if not, better invest your time to other worthwhile activities that can improve your life conditions.

www
My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
Testing your luck every day by doing it through gambling will require a lot of money. In my opinion, whether it is good or not depends on how much money you have prepared every day to continue doing it.
Providing distance reduces the chance of winning. You should ask your friend how he won it and how much money he spent so as not to give him a chance to win.

Setting a daily money limit in gambling I think is important. His words about distance are logic that he is trying to get you to accept.
When you do that, that's when he succeeds in playing his logical strategy.

you can gamble daily, that is, if you have allocated budget. but if you will loan the money, then, better forget your gambling desires. luck will always play the part when you are in gambling. and if you can't contain such addictive activity, you will find soon enough that it will ruin your financial life.

There was a friend of mine who visited me a day after and he was saying gambling every day draws you more closer to winning.

I asked him how?

He said when you keep trying luck every day you stand the chance not to miss your luck of winning, he also made reference to few people around our locality who won outrageous Money within 31 Dec to 1 January 2024, asking if I knew how often those people keep trying for them to have the winning they got.

I said No! He then say the more you space the more I missed my chances of winning but what I came to understand is that, the more anyone keeps trying the slimmer such persons turns into gambling addiction becus such person will always want to gamble regularly stirring up some forms of pressure to himself. When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
I actually depends on what kind of gambling you are doing, whether you are dealing up with sports betting/card games or something that prefers skills or into those games which are purely luck based games.
If we do speak on not to having those skips when it comes to slot gaming then you are just basically be messing up your life with those things considering that winning in slots and other similar casino games
will really be just leading into disaster if you do put up yourself on such situation on which you do keep on playing and depositing funds because we know that luck isnt something that could really be known and control not until you would really be seeing yourself on winning those jackpots or huge money.

Comparing on dealing up with those strategic ones on which you could really be able to make yourself way more better than before as you do gain up experience, skills and knowledge on which
i could say that playing up on everyday would be at least relevant on which you can gain up something. It might not be giving out assurance on making winnings but
at least you are really that making yourself better on everyday dealing.

Your friend is making two mistakes here, the first is to assume that he can make profits while gambling, something possible but very difficult to do, and taking into account the exchange you had with him I doubt he is one of the few people that can do this, the second mistake is assuming that the more you gamble the greater the chances of winning, this is not true and can be easily tested by anyone, you could simulate the roll of a dice in a spreadsheet, and if you were to roll the dice 100 times, there could be some simulated sessions in which you obtained profits, but if you rolled the dice one million times I can guarantee you not a single session will provide a positive result.

It is true that placing bets every single day will increase your chances of winning but how about your loss? Successive loss may ruin your mood of gambling for fun. Is this how rich you are to gamble every single day? I think this is too much and you're missing the bond of your loved ones because of this and for me this is not healthy so I can call this you as an irresponsible gambler if you did this.
There are many ways for us to know people that might not be a responsible gambler. Gambling is more of patience and quality time spent for us to see results and we don't have to be adamant and think that the more we gamble, the more we are liable to keep winning as a gambler. We don't need to keep stressing for winnings. There are ways we can gamble and make money rather than believing in consistent gambling which might not be a good decision for us. There are many ways we can make money in gambling but not for us to keep gambling so that we can make profits.

The question is, does he have money to gamble everyday? Won't gambling everyday compromise his finances, daily expenses and long term goals? If the answer for the first question is yes and for the second is no, then he can gamble everyday without any issues. However, his personal situation isn't shared by every other gamblers in general. Each person has their own limits, and these limits must be always respected and taken into consideration when deciding to gamble or not.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
I don't think to gamble everyday is a good idea, but that is from my personal point of view, considering what it's good for myself. For others, it might be benefical to gamble a little everyday, who knows... In your friend's case, I don't think he should do this in a daily basis, because clearly he is deluded by how gambling works, since he believes the more frequently you play, the more chances you have of not missing a lucky winning day.

Luck doesn't work like this. Actually, we don't know how it works with assurance. So don't put high expectations on it, neither spend a long time of your life persuing goals which fully or mostly rely on luck to succeed.

Gambling everyday will just make you an addict to it. There’s no justification that it won’t make you addicted to it. It doesn’t matter if you gamble everyday and win or you gamble everyday and lose, it will make you an addict and if you can’t control yourself it will even make you to lose important money that is supposed to have been used for something more valuable to you. Your friends claim might work out for him but it will make him an addict unless he can control himself and if you want to follow his ways you might not be able to control your emotions to it and you could become addicted to it and can make your life miserable . It is better you don’t follow his ways and have your own ways of approach on how to gamble.

What people say about gambling is their opinion and shouldn't be considered as something that'll work. Most times it's speculation and these gamblers who win after playing for a long time forget that they've been losing in the process. A gambler must win. It's not a game where a player won't gain some money after a while of trying. Not gambling for few days doesn't mean the gambler will not win. Every gambler's goal differs, people are free to voice their responses, depending on the perspective they've got for gambling. The strategy is that of his friend, and may work out for him. However, if the gambler doesn't follow due procedures he could be heading to being addicted. You are right, Op can devise his personal strategy, if he feels gambling once a while could fetch him more wins, then it's not a bad decision. Without our differences in ideas and opinion, gamblers would be making same mistakes. So, diversifying our strategies helps gamblers to get unique results. Some win and others lose.

Nope, based on my experience. I tried playing daily and as I noticed it, I have bigger loss. Losing is more certain and more anticipated in gambling which supports the idea. Indeed there are profitable gamblers however we have different bankrolls, strategies, and luck which breaks the idea that we would all have the same fate as them. It would be much better to be preventive of loss and that is to limit gambling exposure, and amount we are betting. When I started to manage things in my gambling 'career', it was also the first time I noticed that I am enjoying it more than ever.

If you will be gambling daily, chances are; winning two weeks continuously then suffer from loss or break even with bets (will still be a wasted time to some). Keep in mind that there's no consistency of your winnings; there'"" always be difference. It'll also make you prone to exposure and addiction at the same time.

It is like having the mindset of "if you stop now, you will miss the chance" vibe which could only lead to addiction. Just imagine all your funds going straight into gambling every day, it would be okay if it's also pay day every day where you would have a lot of spare money to stake at gambling that you could afford to risk. Of course the more you play, the higher the chances of probability of winning, but on the other hand it also increase the number of rounds of playing which is draining up your money. If your goal is to profit from gambling that method would just favor the house, much better to limit your money in gambling to avoid excessive loss, and when you win, you win. Some would say you couldn't win a huge amount with limitations but profit is still a profit.

On a certain aspect he is right.I think that the longer you play the higher the chances to win a high prize,I don't mean longer like playing 8 hours a day as that is nonsense,if you have no luck for more than 1 hour then there is no point in keep playing. For example in slot machines I notice a trend,if I have not won the bonus feature for over 300 spins and then I won it and the game gives me from 2x to 4x my bet as amount it means that the game most likely won't pay and I immediately quit for that day.If you keep trying everyday for 1-2 hours in the longer term you have more chances to hit the max win rather than asking for it by playing almost all day,so your friend in this context is right.

.
every day gambling has a real win rate, if you are lucky you might win once if you play and if you repeatedly make bets you never win, in essence there is no guarantee.
Yes that is true, so those people who are constantly betting every day risk more than those who occasionally gambles but what makes those that gamble regularly look irresponsible is that acts of desperation wanting to make possible winning at all cost without looking into their gambling habits, to know whether they are going worse or not. There is no law in gambling that speaks about winning continuously when one keeps gambling everyday.

For gambling to be fun based, then I don't think it should be played everyday. Playing gambling everyday takes away the fun that comes with ahd thereby making the concerned gambler prone to becoming a gambling addict. I have a friend who was once not gambling everyday and was enjoying every moment of it even when he loses as his losses are mostly little compared to his wins but immediately he started gambling on daily basis, he stopped seeing gambling as a game of fun but a game of earning a living and at the end, he became a gambling addict.

Always about this, I really don't understand the mindset of people like that, saying that gambling every day will make you closer to luck? have you proven it yourself that with such an approach you can get a lot of wins? if so then show real evidence that can really be believed. Logically if it is a good idea and can really bring us closer to victory then why until now people in general are still working hard to sweat a lot just to get money, why don't they just gamble? and on the other hand if it were true then surely people would quit their jobs and better relax at home and fill all their time to gamble and then get a lot of money, but isn't the reality not like that?

Honestly, I believe more in what the OP understands that the more often you gamble, it is clear that the more often you will experience defeat and will also make you closer to addiction and we can see how the fate of people who have entered the addiction phase, their whole life is full of pressure and problems, debt to depression because they lose all their valuable assets, isn't that strong evidence to be used as an excuse? However, gambling is not a place to earn, you must be careful not to let your mind focus on winning, it is nothing more than a chance without certainty and guarantee, unless you are one of those people who can see the future. If someone tells you taht he gambles every day because it's better to test your luck on regular basis it's like that person is trying to justify his addiction by creating a whole narrative on the matter. In his mind it's because he's an athlete, training his luck, honing his skills and whatnot, but in real life he's got a gambling problem, that's all there is to say. He's chasing his luck, thinking it's a jar full of tickets and the more he reaches for a ticket the greater his chances of wining.
Although, don't think you're better, OP. You think that the less you play the greater your luck, which also isn't true.

Gambling every day is a gambling addiction and it really won't end well. I think your friend is addicted to gambling but he doesn't realize it. What your friend is doing by gambling every day in the hope of not missing a lucky day in my opinion is useless nonsense. Slot machines or other gambling games are algorithms set by gambling companies and they never put a chance on a lucky day. It's funny when someone entrusts their fate to a program whose algorithm has been set. It's better to enjoy a lot of your free time to play with your family.

OP I was wondering how possible it could be that the more one gamble the more they get close to their winning and I was wondering too if you asked your friend how often he or she gambles and how many successful wins has (s)he recorded so far. I think that would make him or her rethink his actions and words before saying them any further.

What your friend had said I think is an express road to addiction. I do not believe someone gambling everyday is alright with their actions. Daily gambling surely will have a side effect on any individual who indulge in such as as routine. What do you think when one gambles everyday and record losses and in the process of chasing their losses to recover, they lose the more and again and again it continues and it leads them to start borrowing and selling of properties to gamble and recover losses.

I will iterate that gambling everyday is not advisable. One should have a budget for gambling. Make out time for gambling exercise and plan your gambling time very well.

Gambling everyday might not totally be a bad idea if only the gambler is maintaining his reputation, like gambling wisely and not over gamble because he or she would wants to pursue luck or something (winning).
Many people can't do without having fun, just like it has already been quoted here several times that gambling is about fun which I don't totally believe but even without me believing, a lot of people believe it is for fun.
So, gambling everyday, depends on the gambler who's gambling, some might gamble everyday and end up becoming addicted to it while some people will gamble everyday and still control them selfs, becoming addicted to gamble depends on the gambler decision.
I still prefer to play rarely and bet on the matches of my favorite teams, I get the greatest pleasure from this. If I bet every day, it won’t be as interesting to me as before. I know that I will want to bet more and more, I will not be able to control myself, so I don’t do it. So for me the answer is obvious. As for others, it’s up to them to decide, but I think that they won’t be able to hold out for long and bet $5 every day, they will be very bored doing it. This is also a huge waste of time for this activity; this time can be devoted to family or relatives. I would be sorry to give up part of the time of my life, this is the second reason why I will not play every day and this is absolutely certain.
