The two names you mentioned Soros and Warren won't because they don't have the computer background. I know Bill Gate, M. Dell, R, Brandson are all in support of it and most have played with some but I don't think they are huge invested in it.

About Donald Trump, it's either he is the one that will take over with his own port folio to bitcoin. We all know him as a businessman it's another title for him. And we know that businessmen are into making profit, as long as he has enough background to it and he has the capacity to put his entire wealth into seeing the possibility of profit.

Do you have any reference about i have read the US government planned to acquire blockchain technology and two months before they had meet and US commerce department went to blockchain and discussions were around 2 hours. Check in google for further reference about it.

I just read it somewhere here on forum. Maybe you can try to read this news http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-blockchain-trump-go/
I'm thinking that Trump is truly doing something already with the possible research with blockchain / bitcoin to be specific.

I think many of them have already bought a few coins, but not too much.
From their point of few, a few thousand dollars is not much worth mentioning.
Warren Buffett is an exception, I do not think he owns bitcoins.
He has some guidlines in his investment strategy that can not be combined with bitcoins.
For example he always asks, if the management is rational. I do not see much of a bitcoin management.

I think some of those big names already invested in bitcoin. They may be just investing a little to test things out. Of course they won't publicly announce that they invest in it. The big names are smart and won't let opportunity slip away, just my opinion.

Guys like George Soros are too smart to not see the importance of bitcoin, but are they too old to get it?

I don't have an idea with this guy but I know that investor will always be on his name and he can regain and always change his statement.

I know that Warren Buffet said a couple years ago how bitcoin makes no sense, obviously showcasing how old and deprecated his investing decisions are when it comes to cutting edge technology.
The same thing with George Soros, he can also change what he said and just go with bitcoin quietly.

But I can see guys like Soros getting involved and learning about it and secretly taking a position.

Since he is valuing freedom, for sure that he will go for bitcoin.

I can also see Donald Trump, which has appointed bitcoin guys in his team, holding some in his portfolio already.

I do believe that Trump will go for bitcoin and he has knowledge with it already but don't have enough time with his current presidential work.

When the ETF passes, I can see tons of Wall Street people joining in as well, with some serious investments beyond for testing purposes.

And other investors as well, they do trust those big names.

I suppose, then, they did not see clearly profit from Bitcoin, perhaps they just think Bitcoin is something of luxury, they think it's not the future. Or maybe, saw profit school, but then, it is not large profits, and with the rich as they are, they will not care about it, so, they were ignored. and I think, they will not regret it, because they can make that amount at any time

The mention of those names and BTC in one sentence really made me laugh so hard. I dont know if you are joking or lack the reasoning for thinking those businessmen will be investing in BTC. They hate BTC because it stands on the opposite side of where theyre standing. I wont count them out however. Their greed will make them do things that are illogical for them. Like investing in BTC. BTC to the MOON in 2019

I think the big names are in now yeah but most of them didn't get in before 2014.  When you are super rich you haven't got time to waste of a tiny project like bitcoin pre 2014 right.  So yeah it might cost them more to invest past 2014 but their time is more valuable and cash they have plenty of.
You have a point on that, maybe they did not get it because on 2014 the bitcoin is not familiar so we could say that they are no time for it. But in the truth, we don't know if they already using it because the good investor are always finding something where to invest their money, they did not wasting their time. So I think there are some good investor are invested already and there are some not.
No one actually knows on how many of them are already engaged or not earlier on 2014 speaking to bitcoin. There are investors which are wise enough to seek out good and have potential investments on longer years to come.
What is more important to me is the volume of investors that the volume invested and with that, I do not need to know if there are big names that has invested with bitcoin. By simply looking at the price movement, you can analyze that there is a good volume of adopters that are coming, we should see that as a big thing that will make the price continue to rise.

don't see bitcoin as a stock only, bitcoin is not only for investment, it would never achieve what it was meant to be if treated as investment tool, it's also about usage

therefore you don't necessarely need the big investors to coem in to increase adoption, you need more average joe to use bitcoin, and buy it first of course or earn it....

bitcoin is a bit of a high risk and unpredictable and it has been much harder to predict it before, that is why i say the chances of these guys investing in bitcoin in the past has been low. this may not continue to be true in the future though. specially as the market size grows.

That was a long time ago. After 2014, many big names have shown interest in Bitcoin and those who make money from money have already in Bitcoin market from some time now. They won't come out open coz of Bitcoin's volatility or the negative news of Bitcoins but trust me, they are there.

I think they are involved secretly.  Big names are smart enough not to let an opportunity to pass by.  If they see it they grab it.  That is the reason why they have this big names anyway.  They are doing it in silence because they are smart not to alarm this government so that they can get the profit 100%.

Of course, they are so smart, that's why they had big names.Aside of having a big names, they have a power through the use of money. The rich people would still have to invest anywhere for very wealthy. I don't  think if the government really cares about it. What if, it was their personal investment? . Anyways, bitcoin is decentralized cryptocurrency. They also get 100% profit without tax even if the government knows it.

Of course the big names were already involved, and they would not like to be Known in public it's obvious, one is this guy's would have made several off Shore accounts and they would have made quite a lot of money in Bitcoin as it leaves no Paper trail and no one can catch the owner. Secondly if they would have made it public they would have been harassed by the authorities and would have exposed them to hacking risks. I strongly feel this guy's are there but they have hidden themselves and they are making a crazy amount of money and with this etf Bitcoin price is shooting right through the moon for all of us and they will profit but we will never know.

those famous people that you mention maybe is already involve in bitcoin industry but they don't make any statement for this, i think if they are really join, they want to keep secretly so there are no other people that they are inside. its best for them to remind silence so they can learn more about bitcoin and take the profit for their purpose.

They still can wait and see if Bitcoin fails or if it takes off. If it takes off, then they still can invest heavily, since there main goal would be to stay rich rather then become more rich.
They will see a lot of the new millionaire caused by bitcoin. They still can invest heavily but it will on the small scale to make him more money with bitcoin.
Because they're already rich and they are not to be richer.
Yes Bitcoin has and will produce some new millionaires, but this will not bother the old ones and is no threat to them. Most of them made their money with something they can reproduce to make more money. For example if you produce a good to sell it and this way become rich, then you can produce more to gain wealth. But if you just bought/mined Bitcoin at a very cheap price, then you can not do this again, so if you lose/spend your money then this is it. And here is the next problem. Most of the old rich guys have had money for quite some time and know how to handle it. The new rich Bitcoiners are new to this and more likely to end up with nothing.

It is not too late for anybody to do bitcoin and start on earning some, even though they are people who are popular in this world, and even those ordinary people like the most of us can also invest money to bitcoin, because it is the best thing that anyone could do in their life. We don't if they are already invested in bitcoin but I'm sure that they will.

They are popular people and they know how popular bitcoin is, because of its solidity, and its value. They are rich people who wants money because that is the rich people do, they don't stop on earning money, that is why it is possible that they already invest some of their money on bitcoin, just my opinion.

You get high risk investments like Bitcoin and then you get low risk investments like gold. I think a lot of these guys have bought some bitcoins to toy around with, but will never admit to it, because Bitcoin has a bit of a reputation. They might say that they invested in Crypto currencies, but not in Bitcoin.

You can imagine if you bought Bitcoin 2 years ago for $1 000 000 and you sold it now. ^smile^ They might add some to their basket, just for the fun of it. ^smile^
