I have a feeling that most of the people who talk about Bitcoin in any capacity have already bought in, especially if they're aiming to pump it and not take away from it.

For any big names that never really talk about it, chances are they have some of their wealth hedged in it but it likely isn't anything sizeable or serious compared to their other assets.

Bitcoin is still relatively "unknown" in the Wall street crowd.. Yes, they might have heard of it, and dismissed it as a fad or a Ponzi scheme... but I

think they will take it seriously once the ETF is approved. They cannot dismiss a technology that has been the best performing currency/commodity

in 2016.  Roll Eyes .... and as a currency for two years before that...  Grin

I think the big names are in now yeah but most of them didn't get in before 2014.  When you are super rich you haven't got time to waste of a tiny project like bitcoin pre 2014 right.  So yeah it might cost them more to invest past 2014 but their time is more valuable and cash they have plenty of.
We don't know about that, good investors know that to make good money you need to invest early, when uber was small the owner of the Dallas mavericks was given the chance of investing in uber and he didn’t but other big names did and now they are getting big profits, so a tech expert investor could have seen the opportunity and seized it for himself.

Hell yes, definitely. I read about a famous entrepreneur who had made millions of dollars off of his investments in bitcoin, but I can't remember the exact name or article. I'll try and see if I can recall it.

Meanwhile, here's a CoinDesk article on celebrities who back bitcoin: link.

Any business man worth his salt, especially those who basically have endless funds should be investing in bitcoin.  I would guess that even tho they are dissing bitcoin they have probably stuck a few bitcoin into the portfolio just in case, i know i would.

for example i think most altcoins are going nowhere but i still have a few in paper wallets just in case.   Wink

Guys like George Soros are too smart to not see the importance of bitcoin, but are they too old to get it?

I know that Warren Buffet said a couple years ago how bitcoin makes no sense, obviously showcasing how old and deprecated his investing decisions are when it comes to cutting edge technology.

But I can see guys like Soros getting involved and learning about it and secretly taking a position.

I can also see Donald Trump, which has appointed bitcoin guys in his team, holding some in his portfolio already.

When the ETF passes, I can see tons of Wall Street people joining in as well, with some serious investments beyond for testing purposes.
