bitcoin is a bit of a high risk and unpredictable and it has been much harder to predict it before, that is why i say the chances of these guys investing in bitcoin in the past has been low. this may not continue to be true in the future though. specially as the market size grows.
I think the big names are in now yeah but most of them didn't get in before 2014. When you are super rich you haven't got time to waste of a tiny project like bitcoin pre 2014 right. So yeah it might cost them more to invest past 2014 but their time is more valuable and cash they have plenty of.
Yes ofcourse.Millionaires abd billionaire dont stop earning and discover ways to earn more money even if theyhave so much.All people are still craving for money so people will find way to earn and all bignames surely invested in bitcoins huge money and now creating huge money from it.
Correct. As far as there is an opportunity on them, they would certainly take it. Millionares aren't affraid to lose money in order to try something. They can take the risk of something which would benefit them in the other hand. This is how they make money, they are always trying in order to earn something because if you are still scared of trying something, nothing will happen to you. 
Guys like George Soros are too smart to not see the importance of bitcoin, but are they too old to get it?
I know that Warren Buffet said a couple years ago how bitcoin makes no sense, obviously showcasing how old and deprecated his investing decisions are when it comes to cutting edge technology.
But I can see guys like Soros getting involved and learning about it and secretly taking a position.
I can also see Donald Trump, which has appointed bitcoin guys in his team, holding some in his portfolio already.
When the ETF passes, I can see tons of Wall Street people joining in as well, with some serious investments beyond for testing purposes.

i have only two things to say to this.
when these guys publicly say or announce something it is not because they want the public to know what the hell they do, it has lots of other reasons. so when they say bitcoin doesn't make sense it may be because he wanted to buy cheaper coins. accumulate!
also bitcoin is still too small for some of these people that move around multi millions of dollar and make that much profit other ways.

Not only with bitcoin, with all sort of innovation at the initial stage none have trust or hope of success. Same happened with bitcoin in regard to the bog names. Now they've understood the strength it holds depending the technology. So not only the listed names, around the world lot might have made indirect investment through bitcoin.correct mate, there's a people beyond aside from the big names listed as they see opportunity to have a good returned coming from this investment so even they are not showing their identity as how bitcoin works surely they already seeing that potentials and they already placing some good amount to test how big bitcoin can be.

Sure, I would think that there are some very wealthy people who would have a stake in Bitcoin.
Remember that many of the very rich want to own a variety of investments, it's diversification. At least some of these EXTREMELY WEALTHY people will own at least some.

I would own $1,000,000 worth if I had a net worth of $100,000,000, what other investments out there have the possibility of growing MUCH faster than the stock market (etc.)?

I think yes. Because millionaires and billionaires like to invest anywhere as long as they will get a profit. Imagine they are doing stock market but bitcoin is much better with that. With stock market you will just earn large if you will invest large but in bitcoin no because way back 2009 and compare it to now the price of bitcoin is pump so high and in terms of time the bitcoin surpass the stock market earning. So I think yes by pumping of bitcoin so high now I think big names participated in that by buying a large stock of bitcoin.

I think they have started to study the potential of bitcoin/blockchain as a whole. Most likely they are holding some coins for their exploratory work but not really serious investment.

These people are always on the lookout for new kinds of investments and surely bitcoin has been on their radar, one time or another. And with the way the price of bitcoin has performed over the past few months, I would say that some of them have already dipped their hands. And even if they invest just a small portion of their wealth in bitcoin, they would not really lose a lot because bitcoin still has the potential to go higher over the new few years.
I think the big names don't like projects like Bitcoin where is hard to manipulate. They work in a safe way and is ideal if he can create monopoly and control all of the business
There are of course big names who invested in bitcoin, but they prefer to be silent about it due to their main activity

I don't think big names are invested. Big names generally diss whatever isn't regulated. Regulations are a big thing for big player, wall street investors, etc... And if they were invested, I imagine that the price would skyrocket...
They still can wait and see if Bitcoin fails or if it takes off. If it takes off, then they still can invest heavily, since there main goal would be to stay rich rather then become more rich.
They will see a lot of the new millionaire caused by bitcoin. They still can invest heavily but it will on the small scale to make him more money with bitcoin. Because they're already rich and they are not to be richer.

Some of them surly, but in general i would say maybe. They could invest and buy some coins, since its peanuts to them. But there is no real need. Bitcoin is still in the early stages. They still can wait and see if Bitcoin fails or if it takes off. If it takes off, then they still can invest heavily, since there main goal would be to stay rich rather then become more rich.
I think they are involved secretly. Big names are smart enough not to let an opportunity to pass by. If they see it they grab it. That is the reason why they have this big names anyway. They are doing it in silence because they are smart not to alarm this government so that they can get the profit 100%.
I don't think these big guys will involve in Bitcoin. It is hurt to say that bitcoin has no value.
