The question is how the OP define "World Government".
If OP defines world government as having a single ruler behind the scenes like managing the entire world then I would say I don't believe there is since we know that every country has its own interest and want, and also they don't want other races to control above them. Why would I a country, governing my people and lead them with the best of interest and understand them the most because because we are one and the same race standing side by side to each other.
If OP defines world government as a coalition or an agreement of some powerful nations by uniting themselves as one and decide as single body and works together as in unity and having each one of those countries a part in this a representative to face or vote to have a mutual decision with everyone then I do agree. It may be the United Nations or another which we haven't known. In this world government, it doesn't really need that every country would take a part since having these big countries as one would be unbeatable and having the economical and military prowess they can easily put their will in action.

Well there is a global government but they are just hiding from us and they are really top secret its really possible because today we have much greater technologies and much of it is use by the terrorist so the global government will show up when the time comes on once country will declare war to another country and they hide so many secrets from us people in the world maybe they discovered aliens or more advance technologies from our techno today and i think trump mission is to dig up the secrets and reveal it to the world for that he will posses a greater power from it and trump is very wise in that matter.
Trump wise lol! Even if there is a world government that they could put Trump just because he is a complete idiot. It is easier to manage. Not literally of course, but to impose such people the opinion that they will take it personally.

No I dont believe in a secret world government. The world is just too diverse and have such different views that a world government would be impossible, people are nationalistic what will be the dominate language? Will country's cooperate with each other.

If you control the world's financial flows it is possible to control the whole world. It seems to me that world government is not. There is a small group of countries which has a large impact on the global economy, but no more. With money they can do a lot, but not all.They are completely not free. Just they are completely regulated by efficiency of finance management.
The main problem of people, who manage finance is efficiency and not to loose those finances and management instruments.
The very last thing they care are their personal interests.

Maybe there is no world government but am sure there are groups of countries aligned for the same goals. I think corporations rule this world through politicians with their donations during the election season.

There is no global government with structure of typical government. However, there is a limited number of people, which are influencers. I have met several such people. For example people, who manage norwegian oil fund of around of 1 trillion use worldwide. People which quietly write policies for governments etc. There is such thing. From other side it is each person, who is responsible for his own life.

No. There are none but there are countries that are considered superpowers in terms of their huge economy and military prowess which are really powerful with the rest of the countries in the world but it is impossible to have a world fovernment unless these superpower countries will reach a common understanding or eliminate their competitors to become the most powerful and only superpower country then there can be no hindrance in establishing a world government.
These countries are currently bind in the UN as the 5 permanent members in order to avoid having war which their seats functioned as a non-agression pact. Also there are rising superpowers around the corner wanting to be a part in this circle of greatness and glory.

I don't think their is a government that rules above all like some sort of new world order that is a coalition of nations that want to see one big nation running the entire globe, But I do feel that countries like the US have a hand in everything that goes on in the world and influence the entire worlds decisions on when and when not to do certain things.
