We are not alone in the universe, to believe it would be selfish. I mean, we are millions of living beings on the planet, each of different species and with different abilities, some walk, others crawl, others nothing, others fly. What makes you believe that there are no more? In addition, we still do not know all the spices of this planet.

I don't think there's life outside of this planet, the world and the universe might be smaller than we are told.

What is the question, really?

Are we alone? No. We have each other. It's said in the word "we."

Are there aliens in the universe? Yes. Many religions say or hint at it. We have no other real evidence... at least that is publicly known. However, the aliens are way different than we think and than our movies describe them.

Cool

We probaby are not alone but life does not evolve. Evoution is a myth.
No advanced alien will ever come to earth on spacescraft. Physical technologies are very unsustainable, inefficient and waste of energy. Why would advanced aiens travel with them? Distance is nothing to such advanced being. They most likely travel way faster than speed of light on nothing other than their bodies. There are probably some separations between us and them that stop both sides from crossing.

Counting the stars in the universe is like trying to count the number of sand grains on a beach , not possible. Although estimates vary among different experts, the general consensus is that there are at least between 100 billion and 200 billion galaxies in our universe. Think about that for a moment, and now throw in billions of stars in each galaxy! (source) This number could very easily be in the trillions for all we know.

If you look at the Math it is impossible for us to be alone in the universe.

Actually impossible no. Just improbable. Looking at the math, the famous Fermi Paradox asks an important question: why aren't we detecting any sign of any other civilization? According to the math, there should be thousands in our own galaxy. But maybe life it's so rare and the conditions that allow it to evolve to become sentient, and then develop technology are so unlikely, that we are the only one. Or at least the first one, there could be others that will appear in the future. Maybe we will be the technological advanced aliens to them.

But as a personal opinion, it will be sad to have all this empty space just for us. And we keep waging wars and murdering one another for something so trivial as money and power.

I think not. There is definitely life on any planet in the universe. They are just far away from us.
Every time I think of it it makes me feel so small. And I sort of don't like not knowing what other life is out there. There's things in the universe we cannot even start to imagine as we've never encountered anything like this before... huhh, creepy  Grin

Yes, I also think that we are not alone, but another question is whether others are like us in this universe, or they are different, perhaps less developed, or vice versa, more difficult to say.

Sometimes I wonder if maybe we're sort of the sims... and someone's controlling what we do. Definitely we're not alone.

Total simulation theory goes here. What if our civilization was destroyed during some cataclysm and other, more developed civilization created a simulation of our world that we currently live within?

As for the topic itself, we`re definitely not alone. The main issue preventing us from meeting other civilization (or them from meeting us) is distance. Physics is impossible to defy, and it should be extremely hard to create technology sufficient for travelling such distances.

it is a question that people still argue on,
I believe that we are not alone in the universe but I still am interested in hearing others opinion on this.

I guess thats good that no one can tell for sure. Everyone has got a quesion to argue on.

The world out there is immense... we cannot be alone. And I guess we've encountered alien life but it's just not shared with general public.

I don't even imagine how big the Universe is. I think we can't be alone. Maybe there are creatures who are totally different from, but they are still somewhere in space

There is no way we are alone in the Universe . The Universe is so big... we can’t even imagine. I am sure that there are many other forms of life, civilizations, worlds. This whole universe  can’t be only for us (people) .

I think we're not. There are other life forms in other galaxies because the universe is vast. Though they are existing, the great barrier blocks the discovery of other life.

I think so too, but my mom says I'm a fool and I have no proof that we're not alone in the universe.
I don't believe her, I know there are other creatures. In a short time we will learn of their existence, I'm sure
