Its hard to say that it can or maybe not but for sure it can reach that value whether next year or not the thing is we are all hoping and supporting that bitcoin will more adopted and attention and interest will keep showing to this investment currency, lets just be positive and keep spreading the potentials of this currency.

Yes, it would reach $2000 some day. More people are knowing about bitcoins nowadays and it would definitely increase the demand for bitcoins.Two weeks before, we got $1150 as bitcoin price, but unfortunately it fell to $820.So we cant predict it exactly.Trumph is seen as a bitcoin supporter. This would also have an impact on the bitcoin price.
If bitcoin can hold the price of 800$ and never dropped again below 700$,the 2000$ price that we are waiting to happen well be seen after 3 months. Remember last years price, 200$ is lowest and now 800$ will be the stable bottom ,before this year ends we already reached that 2000$ or even higher.
Never doesn't exist when it comes to Bitcoin. And to me it seems you are living in a fantasy world. No way we can end this year with experiencing $2000 prices. We can't even manage to maintain the $1000 level yet. And I am fairly sure that when we go over $1000 another time this year, that once again it won't be sustained for too long. It's a combination of greed in the first place, where it later turns into fear. Exactly this fear will be the main reason people will dump like there is no tomorrow when misunderstood fud news pops up. Big players know that, and thus constantly keep exploiting this weak point of a lot people here.

I was initially convinced that the price of $2.000 is very easy to achieve that in just three months at the beginning of this year. But after the price drop, it seems very difficult to achieve even more in 6 months again.

Its very possible to happen that just wait and see next year if it will reach or not.But for now just keep believe on Bitcoin , use Bitcoin in our daily transactions and let Bitcoin rocks.
wait till this year ends and we will break the $2000 barrier. just like our 2016 year end it surprise us and it hit $1200 barrier that's not bad. i wonder how big whales doing that but i believed that big whales have a big contribution regarding on pumping of the price of bitcoin. being a bitcoin users is so exciting because you're always focusing on how you would grow your bitcoin but you cant earn or grow your bitcoin if you wont invest to it.
Why not?... That's just more than a double of the price today... If it didn't happen in the coming year or the next year, then probably there is no growth in the number of people using bitcoin, and that might probably mean that whales are the one dictating the price on their profit making pump and dump and just want it to run after the price that they want it to...
Price increase is inevitable since the number of user is also increasing each year, unless otherwise, small bitcoin players keeps on selling their coins to whales...

Well I don't know but there is a chance that Bitcoin will break that mark or maybe over that mark.

sure that bitcoin will break the $2000 but we don't know when it is happen and we only need to wait to see that price, but i will be happy if i can see and sell my bitcoin with that price. we need to reach more than $1000 first then the next price will follow and surely we reach $2000 with big smile in our face

I do think that $2000 is still possible. It is just like how we achieve $1000, we never expected that it will happen and it was only a talk on threads that it will reach $1000. I do think that it will not be this year, and if it happens this year, it will be on December, during the Christmas holidays. Who knows, something great happen and we might be testing the $1k again this coming months, and so as the $2k the coming year.

Whew, I really thought we might be headed to $2000 soon. And we still might, but the correction we've had this past week and a half...I don't know which way we're headed. If we break to the upside, we might be there this year.

Not only it is optimism but it a more than a fact that bitcoin will grow to $2000 and even above. We re moving towards digital world and we need digital currency to be supportive in achieving Digitization and Bitcoin is here to stay. Bitcoins are constantly increasing in value and time is near when we will see very high rates of bitcoins.
2000USD is a reasonable price for bitcoin in this year. in the next year I think bitcoin can achieve a much higher price. with the increase of users growing, bitcoin prices could go higher pumping over 2000USD.
but there is no reason that the price can be mark at $2000 value since there is no update and news that there is newly develop or new adopted merchant for bitcoin unless this few months later if there is new merchant or a big company appearing in the internet that could be big impact to increase more bitcoin user. the price can be touch near $2000.But in my own it is hard to think that this year the price can be rise until $2000.

Of course. All big investors and people, whose names are recognizable in the bitcoin world think it will reach $2000 and go beyond it. If you don't believe them, think that 5 years ago those people were saying that it will reach $1000, when it hasn't even moved past $100. Try to update your core wallet now, first couple years up until 2014 take maybe an hour to download, but wait until you reach 2016. It takes an hour to update a week of transactions! That's how fast the economy is growing.
Theres a big possiblity that we can break even the 2000$ price and up,but our problem is when it will gonna happen? Could it happen maybe 10 to 20 years,no one knows it. But i will only say that bitcoin will live forever.

There is a possibility that bitcoin can break 2000$ and more.
When I first get involved in bitcoin it was just 250$. At first I do not believe when I read people saying that it will reach 1000$ and more. But after the halving, everything start moving on the right way. If there were not any news that have caused set backs on price, we will be over 1000 by now, and not just a bubble but a strong 1000+ price moving to 1500.
So 2000 is not just a dream but can be a reality. Maybe on or before the next halving we will be nearing that amount.
