I am trading on 2 exchange: poloniex and bittrex. When in poloniex there is a better profit margin than bittrex, then i move it. But it isn't always effective, because length of confirmation is influential. So, not at any condition i can do that.

Most of the time there difference of price exists so do you withdraw bitcoins from one exchange and sell at higher rate exchange?

So far, I am using Bittrex, and yobit but most often was bittrex, and when times come that I'am going to have a lot of profit in bitcoin i'll take the chance to add more exchange to trade my coins.
I used yobit before but due to bad review by members here I stick to a more reputable like poloniex and bittrex if I like to see a lot of coins.
These are the two exchange sites that I can recommend, and also I used liqui and c-cex sometimes, it's good to have a lot of exchanges but one thing to remember is never leave your coins in exchanges because they are vulnerable to hacking.
Many of the coins were not available in one exchange especially newly finish crowdsale coins go to its different exchange so i track them(the good coins to have an invest). Like PBT coin and now i am waiting for Tezos coin.

I think that PBT is a pretty successful cryptocurrency at ICO, but it all depends on how the TEAM is working. If indeed they work well I am sure Cryptocurrency will certainly not give a satisfactory result. And also to be able to get many benefits we must continue to analyze all the things that exist, so that the results and plans are made very precisely. An effort must be done maximally and never give up, because only then we understand why to do it. If not then everything will go like anything else
PBT doesn't. I can say i'm a bit dissapointed with PBT because you can see how much PBT worth now. We talking price on "bitcoin" not "USD". PBT ICO was worth 1 PBT = 5 BTC but what now? Currently it's only at 1.33 BTC. Such a huge loss for PBT investors, don't you think?

I never do like that OP. There should be a reason why another exhange site has higher/lower rate than another exchange. Just use 1 trustworthy exchange site and you will be safer

I don't, I am afraid by the time I withdraw my coin, the rate might be unfavourable.

That happens even if you're trading on a single exchange only. If you're not transferring coins from one exchange to another and simply trading separately on several exchanges, then there shouldn't be any complications when it comes to fees.

Well, it is on every exchanger sometimes there is a difference in price. But it's all actually isn't something profit, because the difference is only different very thin and short. So when you are tempted to do it, I'm sure it's just a throw away a lot of time for you. So, it is better to focus on one point and then lined up on the right. Because if we use the trading with either already ascertained on the right will benefit

If you are going to used a different exchanger on your trading you must consider what is difference of each exchanger because if there is difference on volume stock and price of the coin you actually trading with it is not a good thing to do. It much better to focus on just one or two exchanger for you to manage it easily and you can know the part of  your decision making and management in every transaction you will make in every trading coin you have.
I think I depends on ourselves. Our capability of using multiple things. Because most of the time using more than one exchange makes us confused with their different policies and changes. I once started using 3 exchanges and I had to face loss because it was all so messed up. So if you think that you can do it then it is full of profit and it can also increase your management abilities.

I used to trade on only one exchange but when I realised the availability of other coins that I can make good profit from and they are not available on my traditional exchange. I had to move to other exchange.
But withdrawing and transfering to another exchange to buy same coin is not a viable option. The price difference is usually not much after knowing that you have to pay transaction fees.

i dont trade other than poloniex, i think poloniex is a good exchanger. and its troublesome if i go to other exchanger
also there is no 100% chance the deposit and withdraw didnt take a long time

I guess Polo is getting a lot of love here on this. They better not fumble on this thumb's up they are getting now because it was pretty bad at some point in the past whe I started with them early this year. I also traded solely on Poloniex but have added another exchange.

And to what OP is asking...I don't think it would work out considering the delay in btc transactions and the volatility of price action. Before one gets through buying from one exchange and attempting to sell off at another exchange the price would have changed.

Yes of course sometimes I do things like this, but if doing something like that has a high risk of losing coin risk and risk of buying at a price too expensive because the delivery process so long.

Most of the time there difference of price exists so do you withdraw bitcoins from one exchange and sell at higher rate exchange?

No i don't and i don't think there is reason to do that. Withdrawing our coins and then depositing them again will take at least 2 hours, and you will have to pay fees so you won't get any profit, also price would probably change in these 2 hours.

If you keep funds and btc in 2 exchanges and if you get the arbitrage opportunity then you would be indulging in such trades. You do not have to transfer from 1 exchange to another in that case since you would be holding btc in both the exchanges. So there is a chance of making some quick short profits during the day.
But what will the possibility to hold a right funds at right exchange ? Because you must need to hold bitcoin in one exchange and fiats in some other exchange.

More importantly you must have bitcoin prices needs to be value higher where you are holding bitcoin and bitcoin prices must be cheaper where you are holding fiats. Then only you can make use of arbitrage trading. Quitting it will be possible to foresee prices and hold funds accordingly ?

i was using many exchanges for altcoin arbitrages but bots killing it its almost impossible to make arbitrage between exchanges.so right now uing only bittrex local Exchange and  kraken.
That’s a nice decision indeed. Trading at multiple exchanges is not good when many exchanges are facing problems. Bittrex is undoubtedly one of the famous and safe exchanges and is great for trading bitcoins. I believe that using selective exchanges is quite safe than working on multiple exchanges.
yes, it is also a good thing that for best trading multiple exchange is not good and i also noted that all those people are trading in multiple exchanges they face to many problem and sometime they loos their money, so you are right that point using only one exchange is very good than multiple exchange and Bittrex exchange is very good and famous in all, so use this type of exchanges because it is very safe and secure for our trading.

I dont agree with you , if you properly use the multiple exchange for trading or arbitrage trading then it is very profitable, i am using arbitrage trading for some 1 or 2 coins and every week earning nearly 0.02 btc. So it is upto you how smartly you are using it. Even i am trading in multiple exchange with lot of altcoins due to all altcoins are trading according to their listing to their exchanges.

I kind of agree with both of you though. It depends because there are people who will be efficient in trading when focusing on one exchange, there will also be people who are comfortable switching from one exchange to another. I kind of consider myself to be the latter
Its that good to have active involvement into different trading exchanges. This give the users the better knowledge about the market, when a single trading exchange is used surely the price variation between different exchanges will help to earn a bigger profit. Also different exchanges provide varied features in the buying and selling process.
It also depends upon the user or trader on which he is comfortable with, some traders also prefer to trade only on one exchange because they would be confused about the different prices and how exactly they are going to trade and initiate the move to do the arbitrage, that is how i figured most of the traders, but if you are more comfortable on doing arbitrage, why not? besides it would be beneficial and it would also boost your experience as a trader.

I am using 2-3 sites. But the only reason is that some altcoins are not listed in a lot of websites. A little boring, as I don't really like having a lot of accounts to do the same thing.

To exchange coins I also use only one site it's bittrex, I will not use another site to do altcoin trading. But to convert coins to fiat currency, i will use multiple exchanging sites. In which site I will get a good price there I will withdraw and sell the coins. Suppose if I have coins on one site, and another site is paying the high price it's more than 10% then I will transfer and sell. But within 10% I don't take the risk.

I don't tend to do arbitrage now. I remain faithful to one exchange, as I find it burdensome to constantly switch from one to the other. It is, however, highly individual. As it has been said many times: do what works best for you.
One exchange is good if that will satisfy all your needs, however if you are putting your coins a little longer in a certain exchange
it's better to diversify it to other exchanges, we must still not be confident it will not be stolen as exchanges are vulnerable to hacking.
