Each successful project has their own active telegram channel but telegram group isn't a major thing but a small part of any project, that let people know about the daily development & progress about that project.i even saw lots of active telegram group, there are upto 100k members but those project failed becsuse those members are fake, that added by team to draw attention only.project without active telegram group also can successful, so focus on the concept of any project
When have new information will update on telegram channel so without active telegram channel discussion maybe investor not trust with some project and better looking for which one project have active telegram channel and wanna give more information. I will invest on project if always update on telegram channel and we can ask many information on telegram when asking many information. Right now almost project always focus on telegram channel to discuss which one good information and about exchange listing for their coin.

You don't have to choose projects by their telegram group, activities on the group won't bring success for the project, team who have some aims to achieve won't have all day to stay active on telegram group either, I chose projects by their usefulness only and not by telegram groups
Nowadays telegram is a mostly used platform to talk about crypto. I also joined a lot of crypto telegram group and getting information regularly from those groups. It's very useful as I like to do trade. but never I copy any trade blindly, I tried to get information from those groups. also If I found any legit trading setup I try to follow those. I never tried to join any VIP/Paid telegram group. Because most of them are fake and the owner of the group tried to dump his coin to us. so it's very risky at all.
depending on the conversation they say whether it is in accordance with facts or just talk and does not prove the truth.
Some of the new projects that will be released sometimes even have telegram members above 20k members, sometimes I suspect where they get that much community, but after tracing several projects, they have already marketed or been active in social media first before making public sales.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.
So far I have analyzed 500+ projects before investment

If you have been in the crypto space for over that long period of time I believe by now you should be able to differentiate between a scam project and a legit one even without checking out their telegram group, cause it doesn't matter if the telegram group is active or not scammers can tell their friends to help them keep the group busy its that simple, having an active telegram group doesn't mean the project is legit, there's a chance it could be a scam project, about the project you talk about "Xfinance" have not heard about it, but it seems like it's one of those project scam projects trying to impersonate "YFI", I would advice you do more research before investing. Fake projects can be active on their telegram groups, real projects with good use cases can be less active on their telegram group, it's stupid to use telegram activities to judge any project, you should concentrate on how pro the teams are and also how usefulness the project will be for the audience
Telegram is very useful to discuss but you should not invest in projects based on their telegram active or not. The Xfinance project is not worth investing in now, this coin has no future.
That's right, telegram has many uses, a project that has an active channel doesn't necessarily have success,
it all depends on the roadmap and the seriousness of a team from the project,

well, you can see that there are quite a lot of bots there. however, you can tell when you enter it. To be honest, an active telegram is a pretty good thing for a project, especially when there are discussions about developments that have occurred, or are coming soon. however, if the content is a bot, then I doubt that it can be trusted. Telegram is a good consideration knowing that it reflects how big is the community of the project. Community is an essential factor wether a project could succeed or not. But its just one factor since the telegram group can be faked, there are telegram groups that doesn't have real users. So its not the basis, still the project development team and the project itself should be studied before getting in to that project.

Agree, activity is not important to the investors, they should always gather information about the company and how much they are active in the process of developments we should consider. 6 years is enough to research a lot about the companies, in this time, we should understand the bots and how they work.
It's easy for everyone to install Telegram on various devices making it a very good consideration for developers to manage a two-way discussion forum. I really agree with the OP, that an active telegram group makes us all more confident and easier to monitor the progress of the project officially. However, no one can ensure that all projects are safe from fraud.

Usually the people who manage telegram groups are community managers, and I don't agree with your personal opinion saying that they don't know anything about the related project. A smart developer, always chooses a community manager who understands the project.

Right now developer just paid some one else to manage their telegram channel, so this happen when we ask some thing about price, listing coin and future planning at the future always not get good answer because moderator of telegram channel do not know anything, they just paid for manage and answer only so do not know detail how planning some project. I think it easy right now when you pay above $400 each month many people will active for manage telegram channel and just little knowledge about coin project and almost problem clearly and make investor interested without recheck again.
In cryptocurrency, you can find all the projects update through mail or telegram group or other social media. Mostly used social media in cryptocurrency is Telegram. You can skip it if it is not friendly for you. Inactive telegram group doesn't mean the project is dead. Paid member can make group activity but you should decide carefully if you are looking to invest.
From my much less experience in this field I can say that there really does not seem to be any reason to invest in looking at Telegram Group.However, many were inspired by the active group.In that case I am in favor of giving more votes to type A.
With active telegram group channel become the way how active by developer with new program for their coins and look good if you wanna try for investing there, I think most discussion about development some coin project for the future if have any positive news in telegram group, they will update any thing new when have discuss on their group, but I think is not become the way you must believe with some coin where have active on telegram but check how they can active for promoting and looking for many real partner for their coins.
Telegram is a free messaging application. So almost every project have their own telegram channel. Whatever it is active or not every project have one. Fir most of the project they want to communicate with the followers. And telegram and twitter is the best place to execute the process. Most of the good projects are normally have an active telegram group. But many scam projects also do the same. So it's hard to define any projects by it's active on telegram or not. I would say it's a good factor to watch but always check other perimeter to check a project is legit or not.
active telegram groups are not a guarantee, if the project will not end up as a scam project. because sometimes the admin in the telegram group is not the core team of a project. and it all depends on the CEO, where the project will be taken. a successful or fraudulent project
