I must say that the ratings are different. Some give truthful, other advertising information. If you choose the right rating, it can be a good assistant to collect primary information about the ICO.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

not really but you can compare it to your own research. I would rather prefer my own research in in selectig a good ico compare to that of ICO ratings. I am more into white paper and team behind the project.

I use ICO rating site just as a side opinion, I also do my own research. Gather information about projects from different sites, from different people.
i am more satisfied if using my own research.although some time i use ico site review as comparation.but i am prefer to make own research how to find good projects.

I prefer to research projects buy my own rather than trust ICO rating sites. I often deeply research the project. My advice is to pay attention to whether the projects have a ready-made product as it is some kind of guarantee that it is not a scam as well as long termed activity before ICO. It is an indicator that team goes straight to their goal and will not give up.

I don`t trust sites with ratings of 100%.
I can be guided by such a site, but first of all it is necessary to analyze the ICO project yourself to make sure its prospects.

I will never trust what anyone else says to me about a coin, when you realize the power of money and the fact that everyone has a price that is when you start to learn to do things yourself instead of listening to what other people have to say and investing your money accordingly. the only research i trust in this market is the one I did myself.
that's right dude, we need to trust ourself research.and our observation in market and analizing ico could make us be  profesional investor in crypto market.

Yes, you can use some reliable ratings as a useful source for gathering primary information about potential projects. But then they have to be considered and studied independently.

At the moment, not very much. And I can explain why. Now the problem is to find a good, promising company. And many have already burned and lost. Therefore, if you trust, it is very reliable, reliable sources. And ratings on the site, not exactly what you can believe without thinking.

I always look at it, if  the ICO project is been rated at least there are group of ICO raters base on their information submitted to the ICO rating sites, it can be trusted but not near hundred percent true , there are still ICOs that are rated but still scams so weust be carefull always in choosing ICO bounty project.
Not all the time because even they are listed in rating sites some of them still can't be trusted, that's why is not still safe to trust and invest to it. whenever know if its true or not and we can avoid if we encounter a scam ICO by searching by your own then choose carefully and invest wisely. Also invest in ICOs after you know all the information about it, besides its better to make your own decision than believing to others opinion that can put in scam ICO.

Most definitely, ICO rating sites can be influenced because at the end, we all are searching for avenues to make money. And some can get compromised in d long run but that is not to say they are not entirely reliable because that will be unfair to some of them

Hi, everybody. Actually no, I'm rather not based on one rating site to determine the ICO. Still, you need to conduct your own and qualitative analysis of the project to really understand whether to spend your time and effort on a particular project.

i dont trust them ofcourse. because it is possible to pay and increase the rating of any ico in most of those sites. but i check of course. because they also have affect on the hype of the projects.

I think that ratings should be used only for reference information where all information is presented in a very convenient form. All the rest must be analyzed independently.

I think some of them are true but most of it are bogus! its very obvious that before they give some review you'll need to pay first that's how they play the game. for me I don't  need their fake ratings I examined the ICO first on my own and if i found that its transparent and good details the team is real that's it. I say this because I'm already participated numerous ICO  let's say 12 ICO and so far i haven't been scam yet.

yes because people judge from the ratings given to ICO whether it is quality, but in fact the ICO project can pay for it, so choose an ICO project that is truly real and useful in terms of the project
