I don't actually trust most of the ICO rating websites because most of them are paid for good rating and such activity will deceive investors. Despite the fact that ICOs pay most of the website for rating, I still trust ICObench website rating to an appreciable extent because they have team that review ICOs.

There are no precise methods for evaluating ICO projects. It turns out that their evaluation is subjective and most likely it is based on money. And this means that they can not be trusted
I don't trust them either, they are only good for the info.

You should not just trust one site, everything, and everybody can be bought. If you see good ratings in all the sites, it is a bit more significant maybe.

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
Im not 100% trusting in any of those ICO rating sites. Some of them are just corrupted like you said. I can check sometimes to see whar they say about ICO I have found. After that, Im doing additional research on that project to get more info to not get scammed.

before investing, I go to the chat of the project, and communicate with people after studying the wp team

You are doing the right thing! But many people do not want to waste time on a thorough study of the project on the forum and this is fired. Although in 2017, such a strategy worked.

That's the problem, we don't know it's transparent or fictional. it's better to be careful than we are trapped into an ICO scam. indeed all ICOs are almost tempting but if we are careful and often discussed in the bitcointalk forum. at least we can share the experience of the crypto masters here

Investors are important to conduct their own research before investing in a new crypto project. Relying solely on the ratings of ICO, investors may decide to invest in mediocre projects or even in fraudulent ICOs that simply pay good ratings and reviews.

I think it is normal to see the ICO rating page to compare at least the rating of the ICOs from that website. however, I will not trust the rating 100%. For, I must also analyze the ICO exactly from their whitepaper and website. Nothing is easy to avoid the scams.

ICO Rating sites are created with 1 goal - to earn as much money as possible. Can they be trusted? My answer is no!

Never trust such sites. Analyze projects and study the team to understand whether it is worth investing

I believe that all ratings can be bought. This is not good. And I do not know anymore. You can look at it, but it's better to read the information and count on yourself. Learn the team, the site and more.

If this is true and you are telling the truth, then this is a serious precedent. I propose to bring evidence and reveal such a site that people do not trust them, and do not give their investment based on the estimates of this site

I had previous suspicions about such rating sites, but I had not yet met such a charge. Many investors suffer from such assessments, because their choice can also be based on such ratings. I propose to prosecute developers and administrators of such sites

a lot of companies appeared - Moshenics! I always study the whole company before investing! In this case, I study the sites of sites where they rank the project! I look at a lot of different rating sites before investing in the project! most often my opinion coincides with the rating agencies!

No don't trust the ICO rating sites. You just need to do your research carefully and don't trust ICO listing sites etc. because ratings can be bought. Careful research is very important to avoid scams and other low quality projects - don't trust anyone but your own research!

I have been recently following Stellar that is generally on the rise and the tokens issued on the Stellar platform - now there is a bump like in any cryptocurrency over the past few days, but generally Stellar is on the rise because of the prospective Coinbase listing and other advances. This will also boost tokens issued on the Stellar platform...

My most recent find among alts is AXU, "Argentas Exchange Unit" token issued on the Stellar platform and listed and verified on the Stellarport decentralized exchange, now only at its pre-distribution, or pre-ICO phase. A true hidden diamond, with low profile so far. Experienced people clearly, and cool tech for decentralizing and revolutionizing global banking - their website at argentas.io.

The pre-ICO price is 50% cheaper than the ICO price, a sure winner IMO, and I will certainly get some. They also have an ANN thread, I think here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/xxx-4431900. I dug really deep in their content, and it is really cool stuff Grin But don’t forget your own research!

I don't trust much in any of them. I've dealt with most of them. They all charge exorbitant fees to speed up the listing, and they all can be bought for favorable reviews. ICObench is actually one of the fairest as far as price goes for a priority listing (.05 BTC), while most charge anywhere from 1-2ETH to as much as 2BTC for a priority listing with a rave review. ICOdrops is the fairest, in my opinion, never taking money for a listing. Always take ICO reviews with a grain of salt, many are paid for referrals and traffic. So be careful and always do your own research

ICO rating is just for reference to choose the good ICOs, I'm not really agree with them review. I have been observed that ICO rating is nothing, the project that have high rate are scam, and the ICO with 2-3 rating star, they have a good project. Just do with your own research.
I agree with you, because I have not seen yet on what criteria sites choose ICO they do not specify them, and I can maintain my site)))
