After I got caught in two scams, which had pretty high ratings on the sites, I stopped trusting them completely. Now I try to analyze the projects myself. Ignoring the evaluation of purchased experts.

I think most of them cannot be trusted, some may not have deep knowledge about the ico before rating it  Kiss

Why not, they got trust and reputation by doing those kind of rating in different kind of field, from marketing through projects itself and many more. Well, they need to do their work professionally and to be careful what they rate cause there are so many expert that visit their site. That's why I visit those famous ICO rating website like icobench.com and many more.

If you want to invest in any ICO project, you need to do good research.

It is not right to believe the ICO rating sites. Research the projects you have rated well. Gather information about projects from different sites, from different people. Do not stick to a single site.

Also believe is biased ratings . Everything can be bought-especially this . It's just advertising - so don't believe everything you see in these rankings - better analyze the project from the inside

actually, ico rating will really help investors to choose good ico, to choose good ico we have to understand it well to get satisfactory results. besides ico rating, we also have to see the whitepaper because in whitepaper there is a lot of information about the project that will be followed.

Sometimes this is a good indicator to weed out completely bad companies. But you should not trust them completely. It's better to spend time and check everything in person. Not always the companies with a good rating show success in the end and the reverse process also exists.

No, I do not trust sites that rate crypto projects, but I keep an eye on them and see which projects are of interest, and then I analyze these projects myself, and only after the analysis I invest.

No, I don't believe in ICO rating websites. In such a website, it is often the best project with 3-4 points. Perhaps the project party did not give the rating website money, so their points are very low, I don't know if you agree with my point of view.

Trusting ICO sights is like putting your trust in the hands of of another human, these are merely people's opinion on the quality of ICOs, ones which can be distorted anytime as there is no accuracy in them at all, besides here are chances that these opinions can be influenced by the ICO managers to bring forth fame to their projects, which might not be as  good

before choosing ICO for participation, I always go to ICO Bench.
But I don`t believe this completely and try to analyze the project myself!

ICO Bench is a garbage. You  can just buy ratings for not big amounts. Like this guy did https://medium.com/alethena/this-is-how-easy-it-is-to-buy-ico-ratings-an-investigation-13d07e987394 C.R.E.A.M.

the site rating ICO does not provide an objective assessment. they do not have a description of the assessment that they do this and certainly less well to serve as a reference. better analysis of its own because it can be more satisfied in getting results concerning what in prediction and analysis on its own.

I think rating ICO is not good factor to identify the good one.
It is easy to promote and create a fake one.

Indeed, those who pay just to gain high rating are very suspicious because if your a good project then i think there no need to pay high prices. If the project has potential then only the crowd well decide if this project is not a scam.

There are good ICO rating site and there are bad ICO rating site! To have nearly accurate data, you will have to comapre the data you are getting with other sources and see if there is correlation, you can then make your decision!

They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
I just recently thought about them. When I was a beginner, I was sure that I can trust such sites as trackico, icobench etc. But I was told that estimates are put there for a reason (depending on how much the project team will pay). For this I now do not trust such sites at all

you can not fully trust those websites, you can only trust fully yourself if you did your homework. But my experience is that they provide useful information and their ratings are not really far off

No, no and no. I don't see any reason that I should believe ICO rating sites while everyone already know that ICO projects pay for these websites to promote for their project. LOL. Even a trash ICO also can pay money for ICO rating sites to get high rate to attract investors to invest in their project Smiley.

For me, i am not really believe of ICO ratings when I choose to join and participation in the ICO. Reviewed project from ICO ratings just alternative opinion to join and support the ICO. When I choose join and participation in the ICO, I am looking for the concept, vision, mision and the aim of the project that i can get it in the website or its whitepaper. I always choose ICO that offering something make sense and then the target of the ICO (like soft cap and hard cap) is reasonable too. I look at its road map and the capability of team and developer to run the project into the success.
