if Elon Musk accepts doge as a legitimate Tesla payment tool, then doge is no longer a funny coin, or useless coin. however, people are always following Elon Musk's investment because chances are, what investment Elon Musk chooses will be big.

The problem is beside Musk and his companies no serious corporation is taking this meme coin seriously and I doubt many will ever do it. Musk is just doing his game play as usual.
May be you will have to take out more time to research a thing or two about Dogecoin to understand that lots of gambling sites make use of it. So, it isn't just a memecoin without a purpose. Its roots are deeply tapped in the community and driven by the community. Yes, I agree that Elon's numerous tweets on it have boosted it's price but Dogecoin on its own has faster speed of confirmation and fees better than Bitcoin. If Dogecoin had as little as 21million supply like Bitcoin it would've surpassed Bitcoin value price like YFI is doing. 
I myself am not sure if it really happens that Tesla allows buying it with Doge coins, because the increase in Doge will not be as long as there will be a decline, it is only time that determines and is strong in the DOGE coin community to maintain its current price.
Maybe this is just a conspiracy that Elon Musk wants the price of Dogecoin be pumped higher again, due to Musk has a big mount of Dogecoin, of course, the above is just my personal speculation, no evidence.Or Elon Musk just tweeted a tweet to kill time, it means nothing.

You can't stop people doing that, they just showing some respect to Elon Musk who have been known as a market influencer. He push Doge to move high and people who invest Doge are happy with that. They love Elon and they will not stop following him unless if they could get any benefits and since Doge still good and keep its momentum, these followers will so excited what will Elon do next. Just leave them doing that coz whatever it happens to them and for Doge, that is their responsibility.

Hey mate you are absolutely right because very recently Elon already tweeted his profile about bitcoin , his tesla vehicle car company suspended bitcoin and recently market already downed so badly. I think elon musk is a critical villian in cryptocurrencies market. Even bitcoin is being overturned by tesla and Elon Musk, what future will a coin like doge coin have if he will do it. Don't let their tricks hit the current investment sentiment, after a few market swings I think great drama is still ahead and it won't end simply like this.

I think he should stop playing with his millions of followers, bitcoin did not need him and I think that for doge, entertainment is a return to a normal situation and Tesla cars suck, lol

Well, really not my business whether Elon chooses to accept dogecoin for purchases of tesla or not, the fact remains that as long as dogecoin solves no real problem both in real life and on chain, then it remains a shitcoin and a joke which is what it has always been, Am not a dogecoin hater but I personally refuse to fall into the trap which Elon set and many have fallen into it with no way of coming out without loosing either an arm or leg.

After a long time of following elons command they finally realized what Elon is up to . That's good . The decrease in the price is an answer that they don't agree of elons new plan .
if it has a major impact on the growth in the value of Dogecoin itself, there is nothing wrong if we are able to support Tesla to accept Dogecoin, but if it is just a plan to boost Doge's popularity for Elon's business interests because he is involved in this for his personal gain, it is better not to bother support it.
