Almost every career, discipline or profession has its own hazard, risk and disadvantage. I hear many people who feel like quiting or abandoning their kind of job because of the risk they go through.

Likewise trading is risky too. For you as a trader, have you considered abandoning trading because of the high risk of losing money in your trade?
If you are going to quit you cannot earn, I also experienced lossing on trading but I always charge it to experience, this isn't about the luck it's about how you work or fucos on it. It is normal that we incounter some mistakes and lose a huge amount of profit but how can we get our money back if we are going to quit on trading?.

Quitting trading won't get us any money back and it just keeps us out of trouble. We must have an unyielding attitude, whatever difficulties we face
when trading, we must be able to deal with them. Therefore, do not make decisions involving emotions, so it will only make us make the wrong
decisions. Experiencing losses in trading is normal and happens to everyone, so we have to be more focused and work hard to fix every mistake
we make. If we are patient through the process, we can get success soon.
What you say I think is also true because after all when we are already in trading we must be prepared to face the risks,
making a decision without considering and in a hurry will most likely cost us money,
what is clear is that making a profit when trading is not easy because if it was easy everyone who trades I think has become rich

Trading has always its risks so it would mean more skills and patience to get through it. But despite of how others are treating it in a negative way maybe because it sucks their funds, but it does not cross my mind quitting from it. Yes, its more profitable and sometimes really gives us huge profits but it takes a lot of knowledge and skills so you will succeed in trading.

And quitting should not be our last resort. Remember, if we want to succeed in trading, then we must improve ourselves and work hard for it so we will not come to point quitting just because it does not fit yourself.

I think every job has its risks, depending on whether we want to accept that risk or just play in the safe zone. trading is something that makes cities addicted, I mean you can't just do it once and then get what you want because it requires a process and careful thought. if many are trading and give up then you could say it is because there is no readiness in him to trade. so it all depends on ourselves, if we want good results then we also have to be able to get through those dreary times. make friends and make peace with failure so that we can be more willing to accept it and remember that where there is failure, after that there will be success.

I'd only consider quitting if I was consistently losing money rather than making money when I traded, but I don't see that happening anytime soon because I'm making a decent profit. I'll probably stop trading when I find a much better way to make money than trading, which I haven't yet, so I'll be here for a long time.

No i don't want quit trading. Yes risk is everywhere, without risk you can not make money. when I was new in trading i lost a lot of money. But now i realised - Don't be emotional, Don't be greedy in trading. If you new in trading then don't trade with your all asset.

I would only consider quitting when I am constantly losing money rather than making money when I do trades but I think that it won't happen anytime soon since it's a decent win for me, probably I will stop trading when there's a much better way to make money than trading and I haven't seen any opportunity yet so I will be here for a long time.
Of course it's very sad if we trade instead of making a profit but instead losing money continuously,
if this happens to you I think there is something wrong with your way of trading,
when we lose money we need to evaluate it so we don't repeat the same thing

People usually fail in trading because they think that trading is easy and also the don't learn about trading. How you can be a good trader if you have little knowledge about it.
Those who have proper knowledge and experience, they never fail in trading and never quit.
They may fail but never quit since no one is too perfect to never fail in trading. Wink

Anyway, trading may seem to be simple if you look at it like they just invest and buy this and that then sell if the price profitable enough. But in reality, they suffer a lot from the stress of adjusting how to make their next trade to be profitable plus how they should control their selves from going out of control if they see the price started to plummet. These are just the most common thing that they feel when trading and I bet those who doesn't have any experience will say it's just easy to do the trading of you know how to buy and sell yet they don't experience those what they feel.

Maybe for myself I will still trade as usual. Because I always take it easy when trading. If I get my income, I will stop and continue tomorrow. Because keeping the mind healthy is also important. Because trading is so very stressful and sometimes tired of looking at the monitor.
All careers have fatigue but at least the result of fatigue is the gratitude and reward of the path they choose. But trading is an outlier for that matter, the normal stress of which only pays off by adding extra days of work in a row, dealing with contemplations of options and imprecise calculations, my physical health and enthusiastic spirit is almost on the verge of bankruptcy by trading, what I remember most is the time when I just learned about leverage levels, like a bet between green and red spots, a lesson is almost to falter at the trading door
Yeah and that fatigue was even more worst on dealing with this cryptocurrency market where chances of profits and losses is really way too movy or volatile same goes with the behavior of the market.
The feeling of quitting is quite common specially on noobs when they do lost money which they do simply turned their backs and quit and some do go back and try to realize on what make things wrong.
If we do have the passion on doing trading then simple mistakes or couple of them wouldnt really be enough for you to quit unless if you dont have money to invest on literally.
Depends on your interest and passion.

I have quit trading since 2015 and 2017 and that is my biggest regret. since then I have never quit trading in the crypto market and from 2017 until now because I have been consistent in the market and completely believe in bitcoin and it was the best decision of my life.. in the future am i will quit trading ? I'm sure the answer is no. well right know im more like passive trader and more like holder.

We do regret when we do miss out opportunities but there are really some instances that  theres nothing we can do but to move on and go back with the track.

Everybody isnt perfect but doesnt mean that it would really be too late for us to engage specially on investment or trading. It is just it do really needed up some adjustments

and do learn up from our mistakes and wont easily quit but each personality is different and some are way too impulsive or too emotional.

... have you considered abandoning trading because of the high risk of losing money in your trade?

I entered this trade knowing the volatility of crypto. If I feared the high risk in the first place, then you must not consider trading in the first place. Even in fiat trading, high risk is very common and I think that every traders know that. So quitting just for the reason of a mere common fact is not quite to be even consider.

It is better quite but it or steel able to manage the risks and can consider that we can control or manage deletes but however ability to cover the risks that will be  received daring and manage the risks to some times  really needed for good results we have high intention it can be  passed and succeeds in over time.

OP, “trading” can be a form of gambling too. 90% of “traders” are losers. In every bull-bear cycle 90% of them quit because they lost the money/coins in their accounts. Who are left? The HODLers.
Reminded mo of a graphic on how it feels to trade compared to hodling, the trading is full of obstacles that you might not be able to go back up or recover but hodling is just a smooth line, no fuzz and just wait. But that doesn't mean that it's not just hodlers that wins when trading, there are some successful traders out there too.

If I find myself not enjoying it anymore and I feel like I only do it just to get through the day, I might consider quitting but not entirely, probably take some breaks in trading to unwind myself and relax and enjoy other things in life besides the computer screen.

I didn’t quit trading, I just took a break. Day trading (especially copy trading) is much riskier than buying and holding. Been there done that. Trading isn’t for everyone.

You can consider copy trading as more risky because you are not the original trader and whether the original trader is good or not, you are just following and doing what ever the trade order does. Yes it may be riskier because hodling is just the simplest form of trading.

One major disadvantage of copy trading is that in most cases, it leads to losses.

There’s a chance that I could come back doing day trading, but not sure when. Whatever works for me now, I’ll just stick to it until further notice.

Yes, and I always like to think it's just normal for all the traders.
Not the "quit" type that you will forget about it for a lifetime. Just some space to rest a bit.
Take your earnings, have a vacation, and just forget the thought of trading for a month or 2.
Maybe that way you will miss it and have the same feeling with your first trade and first profit. It may sound selfish but it must be done. The brain needs to be refreshed to function properly at the time you want to be back to the game.
