It might depend on which kind of trading you are and if you're in day trading which is very risky and very pressure on your part.  I like long-time trading which is I still manage my time until now even though I have work in real life.  IMO, find a decent job + continue in trading or investing is a perfect combination because you have another financial support when you're down in trading.  It needs proper balancing and there's no need to quit in trading if you can manage your time properly and avoid being too much greedy in trading.

Trading isn't easy of making money, it needs your time and focuses on it.  But I suggest not to leave your job too just to focus on trading.

Almost every career, discipline or profession has its own hazard, risk and disadvantage. I hear many people who feel like quiting or abandoning their kind of job because of the risk they go through.

Likewise trading is risky too. For you as a trader, have you considered abandoning trading because of the high risk of losing money in your trade?
I do lose money in trading every year but still I managed to reached my target profit on my previous years in trading so if you are going to compute your whole year activities in trading, you’ll realize that you are actually earning I mean this is my experience so I don’t have any reason to quit. Trading makes me more liquid, and trading cryptocurrency creates so much opportunity for me, so even if I lose I will never quit.

It was just about to start the good momentum I have in trading, so I have to keep this until the end. Maybe, if the moment has come that trading was really hard to make a profit, that is also the time to think about it. I neither to force myself if only I just lose everything I have and it finds to have no good opportunities in here, that becomes unnecessary.

There is a lot of reasons why people just quit and one reason is that They don't clearly understand how trading works cause them to suffer losses. Not all are destined to become a trader, that is why we also have not to force ourselves the.

Every job, whatever it is, as you said, always has advantages and disadvantages, always has its own risks, the risks will depend on the job itself, from low to high, from fund risks to life risks.
However, I am sure that everyone who enters that certain job has considered fully aware of the risks.
And if someone is not ready or afraid of the risks because of some reasons, it is better to quit.
But, if we are still able to manage the risks and can consider that we can control or manage the risks, we can continue.

I am personally here, still here, and not yet thinking about quitting trading. Although the significance of trading is probably decreasing, it doesn't mean to quit. It is better to manage our funds and also decide for ourselves to do day trading or short trading time. So, we can really understand where we are and how we are. Taking risks doesn't mean that we must be all out to accept the risks, but how our ability to cover and manage the risks.
If feel depressed, it needs to take a rest, for a deeper breath and fresher thoughts. And then, started to begin again.

If someone wants to quit trading then quit it and find better source of income because if you are not comfortable with trading and still choose to trade means you are going to keep losing your money and such quitting thoughts will come only if you are not financially good so better go with your instinct and start trading anytime whenever you are ready for that.

You can only quit crypto trading if you already decided that you won't touch crypto again. But if not, you can't avoid the trading. Just manage yourself if you don't want to be stressed in this market. Because this is really a stressful one if you will be full time on this.

Not exactly. Although not a day-trader, trading is one of the ays to earn money. This is risky, yes, this is. And the risk will depend on what e are doing and our analysis. Although there are always risks in every analysis, there is also a chance to take profits. I am more of a trader in the spot market, so it makes me calmer. but if it is for future trading, I am not in it.

Daily job like earning physical money dealt with risk particular on responsibilities you're bounded to, but the stable work you had sustains you for a living.
The risky trading isn't guaranteed to work for such a long, failures and loses was a part of learning process. Much better if we don't quit on our job until such time you'll be stabilized financially together with trading as a part time passive income.

Like most of the time there is not a simple answer to this, the risk itself should not be the reason why you should leave behind an activity as trading as technically everything has a risk, however many people are simply unable to deal emotionally with the losses they will eventually have in the markets and that is when they make mistakes, and if that is the case then I think it is a good idea that such a person stops trading before they lose even more money as it is obvious someone like that cannot become a successful trader.

I have no reason to leave trading. Every job or profession has risks, including trading, it is normal. What we need is to know how to deal with the risks, minimize the risks, and optimize the chance for profits. Of course, to know it, we need to have good knowledge in trading and require experience. Since I have been trading for years, I assume I have some knowledge and experience needed for a professional trader. Now, I have no big problems in trading and I feel comfortable. Sure, not every trading gaining profits, sometimes got losses. But I enjoyed my trading activity.

There are a lot of people that chose not to be a day trader and the others who have tried day trading, stopped because of the reason of losing. In trading, we can quit and be back at any time in our will. My decision is to stop for the moment, be focused on holding. While holding, I'm thinking that maybe someday I'll be back and go full time trader. It doesn't have to be day trading but as long as I'll have gains weekly and that's good for me to sustain my needs, that's what I'm considering but that will in the far future.

I am not a full-time trader, so leaving this sphere will not add anything to my life. I prefer to use a swing or long-term trades, it is always better than staring at the screen all day for short-term trades. Having a full-time profession requires sacrificing so many things, so it is better to stick with long-term trading. Having a full-time profession has such bad disadvantages, a time factor is very important and experience matter a lot. Imagine trying to make money on the volatile market pairs to pay bills and you can't handle the stop loss hit by the current market price.

I don't think I'll be quitting trading anytime soon.
Of a truth, trading has risk, but it also has benefits.
If we quit because of the risk, we will never enjoy the profit. We don't get to make profits everyday but we can try.
And I believe one get better at trading by trading more.
As you gain more experiences you become smarter. This does not guarantee wins tho.

In fact, those who trade in cryptocurrency will never be able to give up trading. For example, if I consider my words, I can see that even though I have lost by trading in different fields, I still have a different I wish towards my trading.Especially since I have almost lost money in futures trading, it doesn't feel good at all if I don't trade. So I would say those who have entered trading will never get out of trading. And even if he can get out, he will have a lot of trouble.

When i was still a noob on where i did suffer some losses which i cant really accept and have thought to myself that i might quit up for the good but later on i did realize about the reality aspect of this market

and all the things about trading and it wasnt really an easy thing for someone to deal with. You would really be having that common noob mistake on where you do believe that you could deal with it well.

When reality slaps you in the face then thats the time you do make out some realizations and would take the things even more serious and bit dedicated.

Not yet for me, maybe i will think about quitting when I have made a kill  Grin

People end up getting depressed because;
1. They think trading is a way to get rich quickly (well sometimes it is but not always)
2. They invest money they can't afford to lose
3. They don't have a proper risk management strategy.

Honestly there used to be a time I enjoy trading on a daily basis and lock-in the little profit. Though, the profit doesn't come everyday and there are days I do take to loss too.

But I got knocked down during the beginning of this last bear season and every skills I seemed to have acquired got faded away and I lose about 70% of my trade. I felt like quitting the game but instead I engaged myself in buying the dip for a longterm profit with the little I got left. And thankfully, that's how I brought myself back to the game.

I think trading becomes high risk when you can't control your Greediness. So I control my greed with leverage and that's how I lower my risk.
